Agree somewhat on the Industrial Revolution--the cure by our betters was creating really big institutions--big armies, big corporations, big banks, big bureaucracies, big ngos, big schools, big media, etc.

And the emphasis became lowest common denominator performance and machine like functioning of human parts in mutual conformity.

I hope societies can do better coping with this new coming age than they did with the Industrial Revolution.

Paul ignores history as the US did a bunch of small scale police actions going way back to the founding of the Navy. I don't take him seriously anymore and Massie even less so.

The unpleasant world is filled with argumentative murderous assholes, some with state sanction, some with none. And unless America wants to become a hermit kingdom, Americans will be scattered across the globe and murderous thugs will be trying to bring shit in to kill our citizens for profit or simply kill them.

Our Constitution is designed specifically to protect Americans within in the US and our military is charged to do so. Not law enforcement.

We cannot and should not try to fix the world from assholes but can and should address those trying to do that shit to Americans whether by drug smuggling, human trafficking, terrorism, or crime.

Last I heard, the president has authority to declare foreign orgs as terrorist orgs and commit military means to fight them based on the AUMF.

Trump declared Tren de Aragua as a terrorist org months ago.

The action is completely legal and within the precedent set by his three predecessors. It's nothing new, except it's being used by people trying to make America worse on our shores directly.

Every government action is a slippery slope. All one can do is fight the battles before you. In this case, violent troons deranged by big Pharma and psychology should be considered problematic to buy firearms no less than those (often wrongfully accused), of misdemeanor domestic violence.

No different than banning habitual drug users as well. Simply add the question to Form 4473 and allow gun sellers to refuse to sell to troons if they wish. And get rid of the stupid gender fluid language letting them pick their gender on it (Biden era change).
