Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | The Morning Report — 8/26/25![]() Meanwhile despicable reprobate and tearjerking jerkoff Adam Kinzinger opened his exhaust port and emitted this noxious flatus: Former Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) said Monday CNN’s “The Lead” that deploying the National Guard to every city over “so-called crime” was how dictators take control.Funny, considering every Democrat controlled city and county is essentially a socialist dictatorship with honest citizens terrified by rampant crime in the streets and corrupt politicians fleecing them dry. Regardless of what the Kinzingers of this world claim, President Trump's moves to both bolster law enforcement by calling up the National Guard as well as round up as many illegal aliens and deport them are wildly popular with sane Americans. Since illegal aliens and native born criminals are protected by and used as political cover if not the vanguard of Democrat Leftist power and control, it's no wonder that Democrats are protesting and indeed attempting to sabotage the restoration of law and order to America's streets. Democrat Mayor Barbara Lee of Oakland, California, boasted Monday during the Democrat National Committee’s summer meeting that the city defies federal immigration law.Why has this she-beast not been shackled in leg irons and dragged off to the nearest hoosegow and prosecuted for insurrection? With all of that said, this move by the President just makes no sense to me, both politically as well as in national security terms: President Donald Trump said on Monday that he will allow 600,000 students from China to study in the U.S. Trump said in June that allowing Chinese students to attend U.S. schools would be beneficial as long as they did not pose a national security risk. The president stated during Monday’s Oval Office event with South Korean President Lee Jae Myung that he will meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping to continue the “very important relationship” between the U.S. and China. Red China is hell bent on global domination and as such has represented an existential threat to our national security for decades. Chinese emigrés, students and others have infiltrated our universities and the private sector including and most dangerously our most sensitive high-tech industries for the purposes of spying and sabotage. They arguably pose as much of a threat to our safety and security as however many Kilmar Abrego Garcias roaming our cities peddling drugs, weapons and whatever else. 600,000 potential Chi-Com saboteurs given carte blanche is insane Mr. President. Meanwhile, on a more positive note this story makes me go hmmm: Democratic think tank Third Way published a memo to “All Who Wish to Stop Donald Trump and MAGA” on Friday. It’s dawned on them that Democrats could more easily connect with voters if they would simply stop using “words and phrases no ordinary person would ever dream of saying.” The intent of this language is to include, broaden, empathize, accept, and embrace. The effect of this language is to sound like the extreme, divisive, elitist, and obfuscatory, enforcers of wokeness. To please the few, we have alienated the many—especially on culture issues, where our language sounds superior, haughty and arrogant. Reminiscent of the constant revisions to the “Newspeak Dictionary” in George Orwell’s 1984, the memo features 45 words and phrases that Democrats should stop using immediately if they want to prevent voters from leaving the party. Frankly, it’s amazing they even need to be told. If the Democrat strategists are warning politicians to mind not their P's andQ's but their :GBT's and Q's lest they alienate the electorate, it's not a sign of strength and confidence on their part. As politics is downstream from the culture, it seems an indicator, at least to me, that they're losing the culture war. Interesting or coincidental that President Trump is thinking about changing the name of the Defense department back to The War Department comes on the same day as this warning from Democrat think-tankers. And lest we forget that it was five years ago that Joey Sponge-Brain Shits-Pants and his handlers pulled the plug and bugged out of Afghanistan, pissing on the graves of thousands of servicemen who gave their lives needlessly in that Islamic hellhole and causing the needless deaths of 13 of their comrades when an Islamikaze usicide bomber blew them up in the Abbey Gate attack. God bless them all. And lastly, a quick shout-out and thank you for your continued support in hitting our tip jar. It truly is appreciated more than you can know. Have a great day!

The big scientific discovery here is that this interstellar comet is so much like comets that come from our own solar system. The implication is that other solar systems have great similarities to our own.
The Copernican Principle is raw miseotheism that relies on being innumerate. and profoundly ignorant - yet that is the foundation for exploring our universe. The Drake Equation, which was cobbled together to narrow down places for SETI to eavesdrop is an example of huge amounts of ignorance in a compact expression. What it does do is focus the mind on the impossibility of life anywhere else in the cosmos, and there is likely no other solar system like ours anywhere in the universe. When they conjecture that this looks like a comet from this solar system but is not from this system, they are showing their ass in that they live in fantasy, not reality. I think that's the biggie. Loopholes abound for the rich and/or connected and when they fail to find a convenient enough loophole they'll just ignore the rules with almost guaranteed immunity. Interesting.
Conservatives often say invoking comparisons to Hitler by pundits on the left leads to inevitable violence against Republicans politicians, and yet here we see the same tactic employed. It's difficult to tell whether it's because the purveyor of the premise is disingenuous in their belief that the comparison induces violence, or whether it's just an example of the same intellectual laziness that seems to be so pervasive among our liberal opponents. History is replete with bad actors of all levels of iniquity and of all persuasion. The Reducto ad Hitlerum routine is unimaginative, and the many pundits almost seem to fetishize it. Just as Millennials are often reminded that there is literature other than Harry Potter, one would be well reminded that there are periods of history other than the Weimar Republic. House Jan-6 Committee show trial
A show trial is a public trial in which the guilt or innocence of the defendant has already been determined. The purpose of holding a show trial is to present both accusation and verdict to the public, serving as an example and a warning to other would-be dissidents or transgressors. Between 1933 and 1945, Nazi Germany established a large number of Sondergerichte that were frequently used to prosecute those hostile to the regime There is little doubt that those who faced a show trial were going to be found guilty and they served the main purpose of Stalin – to get rid of anyone who might be a potential rival to him as leader. The US is fully incapable of providing these products ourselves. There just isn't enough STEM talent. The US labor pool specializes in substance abuse and video gaming. Taiwan reluctantly is making some chips in the US but is complaining that the labor, such as it is, costs way too much; our regulations and taxes are crippling and the supply chain is unreliable, too small and crap. If the 600,000 Chinese student/spies stay in the US to act as engineers and scientists (much of the existing talent are retiring or retired Boomers and Gen-X) then there is a slight chance these industries can perform at a slightly better than theater level, but the culture of the US is pure consumer, not producer. "Dog Days"
From the Old Farmer's Almanac: The Dog Days of Summer run from July 3 to August 11 each year. Far more than a modern saying, the phrase comes from ancient skywatchers who noticed that the brightest star, Sirius, rose with the Sun during this period. If Apple wanted to make their iPhones in the US, they would need thousands of mechanical and electrical engineers. In China, you will have them lining up around the building the day after posting the job req. In the US, it would take years and they would have to cannibalize other businesses for those same engineers. The US can't do it at scale. Or is it that the universities don't want Americans? Universities will gladly accept foreign Asians (preferably communist) and they'll gladly accept Americans who're neither Asian nor White heterosexual males. The problem with Asian-Americans, despite trending politically left, is that they displace more favored ethnicities. The problem with White heterosexual males is... well, that's an obvious one. Jeremiah Was A Bullfrog reinforces the gender binary, as we can see here:
"Joy to the World, all the boys and girls now, joy to the fishies in the deep blue sea, joy to you and me" This song has the potential to cause severe anxiety and depression in the trans and non-binary cohorts. Also, excluding BIPOC populations as well is implicit in the heteronormative approach. Note also, only "fishies" is mentioned in this application of "joy", thus marginalizing other sealife. What Garcia and the anti Trump groups have done is exposed the judiciary as a bastion of tyranny. They have brought to life the fears of our framers, founders and the anti Federalists. They are a fifth column within our government who seeks to steal power from the citizens, and rule by fiat, not by law or constitution. They are by far the biggest threat to our republic, bar none. From the Supreme Court, Jackson has exposed the game. It’s not about material facts, probable outcomes or most important, the truth. It’s about what they can insidiously invent to achieve their political goals. I dare say that’s not democratic, constitutional or in the interest of liberty. It’s tyranny in black robes.

Wind "farms" are an abomination on the Earth...
Posted by: It's me donna at August 26, 2025 08:55 AM (VE6XX) They are an eyesore at night, too. I recently drove past a huge windfarm at night for the first time. In south Texas. Each windmill is required to have very bright red anti-collision lights. All of them in a farm blink in unison - also an FAA requirement. When I first saw an endless stream on blinking red lights I had no idea what it was? Airfield was all I could think of. As I got closer it dawned on me it was a windmill farm with anti-collision lights on each. Reading about it I learned locals across the country are pushing back hard against these large areas of elevated bright red lights blinking from dusk till dawn. Distracting, ruining quality of life after dark, attracts bats - killing some, and more bad effects So efforts have been underway for a time to have the lights activate only when radar detects an large aerial object in proximity. I do not know if the FAA has approved these. Posted by: Gref at August 26, 2025 09:23 AM (aBgBM) 345

How is being born a sin
Posted by: Don Black at August 26, 2025 09:27 AM (AOsQT) Original sin in Christian theology refers to the condition of sinfulness that all humans share, which is inherited from Adam and Eve due to the Fall, involving the loss of original righteousness and the distortion of the Image of God. The biblical basis for the belief is generally found in Genesis 3, and in texts such as Psalm 51:5 and Romans 5:12–21. Posted by: Sponge - F*ck Cancer at August 26, 2025 09:28 AM (Zz0t1) 363

I dunno. You signed a sworn statement on an application which states outright any false statement is punishable by law. Most of those documents are notarized. You swear the property for which the loan is being taken is your primary residence in order to get a more favorable rate, and in some states better tax treatment (subject for another day because there could be state charges but if it’s a Blue State they won’t file). Conclusively you lied and that’s demonstrable because you are living in another state and have another property. Average people get pegged for this all the time, and get penalized. This isn’t very hard to understand, even for the mouth breathers in the media. But yet, here they are talking about the end of democracy. You have to laugh.

But here's the thing Lutnick doesn't clarify: The Chinese students aren't going to the bottom 15% of colleges; they're going to the top 5%--the Ivies. That displaces 600,000 American students who would like to go to those top schools and forces them down to lesser schools. That bottom 15% is filled with American kids. But Lutnick doesn't say that.
=================== It may be even worse than you say. I haven't added it up but the eight Ivies probably take about 70,000 undergrads in the aggregate, and in all four years. If they target 20% foreign students, that's 14,000 at any one time. Add in the other top schools (MIT, Cal Tech, Stanford, Berkeley etc etc), maybe another 100,000 foreign students. From all countries. If they admit as many Chinese kids as Lutnick states, it sounds to me like those kids are going to be going to schools all over the map and at all levels. The 2022 CHIPS and Science Act provided for $11 billion in semiconductor research and development funding to be given out by the Commerce Department’s National Semiconductor Technology Center.
“Rather than establishing these operations within the Department, however, Biden Administration officials spent significant time, effort, and resources creating an unaccountable, outside entity–Natcast–to administer taxpayer funds,” Lutnick wrote Natcast CEO Deirdre Hanford. Four days before Biden left office on Jan. 20, Lutnick noted, the Commerce Department agreed to set aside $7.4 billion in “advance payments” to Natcast after spending nearly two years setting it up and tapping administration officials, advisers and allies to fill out positions. Re. The Screw Worm:
As a young man, my dad (God comfort him) was a real honest-to-goodness ranch hand / hat-AND-cattle cowboy riding the New Mexico / (Old) Mexico border. Old Mexico is what New Mexican and Texans call Mexico, so there is not confusion in a conversation. One of his responsibilities was to cut out cows that were infected by the screw worm, bust them down so he could work on them, and using a twig would dig out the screw worms in the wounds or eyes of the cattle, then pour chloroform into the open wound to kill anything he missed and disinfect the wound. If the eye infestation was bad enough he wound cut the eyelid back with his pocket knife and sew the eye closed. He well remembers the eradication of the screw worm fly as a very good thing. Sonoran style enchiladas with a fried egg on top is real border food. Fight me. Posted by: waepnedmann at August 26, 2025 11:03 AM (SYp9G) 400
