10 A former U.S. Postal Inspector, Scott Kelley, 51, of Pembroke, Massachusetts, was arrested and indicted today on a 45-count indictment, charging him with allegedly stealing over $330,000 in cash from packages sent by elderly victims. Kelley is also accused of laundering the stolen money, failing to report it to the IRS, and even stealing from an evidence locker before framing a subordinate.

Kelley, who served as a Team Leader for the Mail Fraud Unit—the very unit responsible for investigating scams targeting senior citizens—allegedly used his position to intercept packages mailed by victims of a Jamaican telemarketing scheme.

The scheme, known as Jamaican Operations Linked to Telemarketing (JOLT), involved scammers posing as lottery representatives and persuading elderly individuals to mail cash for bogus "fees" or "taxes" to claim nonexistent prizes.

I can do a mechanically-adequate job, but I say I'm just escorting them around the ring.

I had Delilah at a specialty while HM was recovering from knee surgery. Lila was BOS to the same dog she was BOS to at the National, with HM handling. So at least I was spared a three-hour lecture on the drive home about my deficiencies as a handler.

40 My brother had a dog named Bella (Shar Pei - Lab mix) awhile back.

One summer evening, the little dog next door was let out in the neighbors yard, and immediately started yapping through the chain link gate between the two yards.

Bella couldn't resist.
She darted off the back porch and ran wide open on target until THUNK!, she ran right into the metal pole on the fence with her face.

Embedded one of her bottom teeth so far into her upper lip they had to take her to the Pet ER to get it out.
They had no choice, she couldn't drink or eat with her mouth welded shut.

She never did that again.

71 Goldens are simply the best. Yes, I am biased after 3 of these lovely dogs.

Our Shelby came into our lives when he was 8wks old. From a breeder in FL, who bred champion show dogs. His grandfather was a cover dog for Dog Fancy. Gorgeous cream British Golden. His mane would drag the floor, similar to Murphy's.

We'd been looking for dogs to replace our insane Airedale at shelters. Our youngest son did not like any of them. I finally asked what he wanted to ease his agony (he found Max the crazy Airedale after he died suddenly). He wanted a Golden. The breeder had one they were not keeping (altho I think regretted it a year later for his hip check, as he was far more beautiful than his sisters).

He had the love of water bred out of him somehow and hated our swimming pool. Would walk back and forth with me when I swam laps. When I'd get out and read on a ledge, he would lick my head and declare he saved me.

Sweetest guy on earth. Never hurt anyone or anything in the house. They are so gentle.

He had a pool screen squirrel buddy who grieved as much as we did when Shelby died (possibly from a stroke, age 13yrs). He died happy as the vet gave him treats.I smiled through tears.
