First a series of dust storms blew over and blew away mst tents (also totally destroying the "Orgy Dome"), and now a series of rain downpours has turned the entire festival inton a knee-deep mudpile.

As the narration explains, "the playa" is a lakebed, and there is nowhere fpr the water to go, so all water just accumulates and stays there.

Got some laundry to hang on the line, then it is off the Red Deer to bitch at WalMart. Bought a battery there last evening, was supposed to be 129 bucks (which is damned high as it is), and did not pay too much attention as the self-checkout rang it in at 169! Well, turns out the battery is friggin' double-labeled. Label on the side is for the 129 dollar battery, sticker on top is for the 169 dollar battery. Somebody at the factory in May-hee-co screwed up. Either they give it to me for 129, or they can shove it.

Even without Ace, I hear about him through Christian publications, but his reputation there is in tatters. No one takes him seriously save for the dwindling liberals who try to hold him up as an exemplar of conservative moderation.

There's an almost masochistic need among Christians to offer charity to opposing view, and try to act like it's all erudite and full of Christian charity, but French has worn that out by constantly demonizing everyone who disagrees with him as a hypocrite, pretending that Trump was a deep sinner but Biden wasn't a world-class creep whose family backstory is fill with abuse and incest.
