The Modern Plantation Is The Democrat Party

VAracist2025.jpg

Winsome Earle-Sears is the current Lieutenant Governor of Virginia, and is the Republican candidate for Governor in the 2025 election. She is an impressively normal woman, although she is a Marine, so that gets her some extra points! She raised a family, wrote a book, ran for office, served her state honorably, and is in all respects a credit to America.

I disagree with some of her stances, and her support for Donald Trump's third presidential race was tepid at best, although being a politician in a blue state makes that a semi-rational (though undignified) decision.

But in the eyes of the rabid, racist, misogynistic left? She is an uppity n*gger who should get back on the plantation if she knows what's good for her! How dare she be against unlimited abortion! How dare she support the 2nd Amendment! How dare she oppose same-sex marriage! How dare she be against DEI!

And most of all...how dare she be a Republican and support Donald Trump.

For that she is banished to 2nd class citizenship by the blue-haired harpies of the new Democrat party. And because the Democrat party and its attendant political water carriers are rooted in racism and class divisions, they immediately latched onto the least important aspect of Sears...her color. Besides, all those brown and black and yellow and red people are just tools in the never-ending struggle against freedom... they certainly wouldn't want to embrace them as equals!

As proof, I give you the Georgia whale!

Abramscrap.jpg

So what's the difference? Haven't we been told for generations that the Democrat party was the party of the little man? The disenfranchised? The minorities just trying to claw their way out of the muck created by evil White supremacists?

One would think that Winsome Earle-Sears would be the perfect symbol of American exceptionalism and its unique ability to embrace everyone! She is an immigrant, a veteran, a small-business owner, an author, a successful politician! What an amazing success story! And -- let us be brutally honest -- she isn't an immense fatty who is an obvious grifting crook!

But she is a Republican, and an unrepentant believer in the American dream, which means that she rejects the victim-hood that is part and parcel of the Democrat approach to black America, which is nothing more than chattel. They are tools to be used in the fight against freedom, and Winsome Earle-Sears has rejected that offensive, condescending, racist approach, and instead has chosen a better path.

And for that she must be destroyed!

13 Honestly, I don't think the Democrats see Winsome as much of a threat, so I think "destroying her" is a bit over the top. It is a bit ironic that her opponent is the whitest of white women, so we'll see if they even bother trying to square that circle. The GOP in Virginia is a bunch of limp dicks, so the Democrats probably figure, why bother?

That’s what American Exceptionalism is really about. It isn’t that Americans are special or better than everyone else per se. But our form of government as founded truly is.

This is why Biden ( a pasty white racist) would say things like “If you don’t vote for me, you ain’t really black!!”

29 The old white lady holding the stupid sign… this is an old, old playbook. Just yesterday I went down a YouTube rabbit hole watching several old episodes of Firing Line with William F Buckley.

In one, way back in 1972, some guy who started an activist group for parents of gay children… the guy like a broken record kept saying over and over again that if you discriminate against gays that is equivalent to discriminating against blacks and Jews because gayness is an unalterable fixed part of a person like skin color or ethnicity. That is the playbook: equate your preferred perversion and voila your perversion is elevated to the level of legitimate protections

As an aside: Buckley’s Firing Line was a delight, a gem…. How far we’ve fallen to have that low IQ hack Margaret Hoover hosting Firing Line

37 When did the Democratic Party turn from prosperity and abundance for everyone to mingy scarcity and nobody can do anything anymore?

Because the "post-war consensus" that the entire Western governmental apparatus has grown to be a support system for is that the rise of the middle class starting with the Industrial Revolution has been a complete disaster for the rich and powerful. Tens of millions who don't know their place running around and eating "our" food, taking space at "our" beaches, and voting the wrong way in "our" democracy.

How they plan to "fix" that is pretty obvious given the starting point.

Roughly? About 1972, the oil shocks, Embargo, and monetary inflation really kicked in about then. It’s been a steady decline, with fits and starts along the way since then. Balance of trade went negative about 1974, wages have been stagnant since then too, something truly horrific.

You see whole neighborhoods of once proud, if not luxurious homes. It’s like a different planet. Dad went to work, mom stayed home with the kids. The schools were pretty good. Somehow (it wasn’t easy, but) a single breadwinner delivering milk say, or working at a factory, could afford a home, a car, and raise a family. That’s all gone. Financialization, interest rate wankery, “welfare” and offshoring of tens of thousands of factories have left the US economy pretty well FUBAR for millions.

We had the flash a long time ago. Now we get the “bang”. That’s how you got Trump. The Republicans have been of no particular usefulness either. Assistant Democrats at best.

65 Believe what you want, at its essence this is a battle between good and evil. It’s hard for a lot of people to grasp there are a group of people who hate this country and want to see it collapse. They spend all their time, money and efforts participating in that effort at various levels. There are some who are useful idiots that either knowingly or unknowingly participate in the process. There are others at the top who fund, plan and scheme to divide people in order to foment the process and create conditions for their revolution. This isn’t hyperbole, it’s demonstrable and prior to Trump a great deal of it was being funded by your tax dollars. Make no mistake the Democrat Party is their political division. They try to guide the country towards division through attempting to pass law and maintain policy that helps those who want the downfall of our country. The judiciary is their fifth column and fallback line of last resort- as is any unelected position. It’s all blatantly insidious and when you look at the agenda, inherently evil. This is a war of attrition we need to win at all costs. Never quit. Good always wins in the end. Always.

True, but that’s not to explain or justify why nobody can afford to buy a home or a car or raise a family.

The currency has been shredded, the factories have been offshored, and tens of millions of illegals moved in purposefully to depress wages.

Boomers keep telling young folks they need to “save” and cut out Starbucks. Be careful, they may decide to cut your throat. They have every reason to be outraged.

The Democrats and Republicans spend a lot of time making sure the focus of their ire is directed somewhere else. That’s what all the rhetoric is about. Cost shifting, blame shifting.

77 The left is constantly equating "trans rights" with civil rights, so to them the analogy made perfect sense. Their world view is so warped that they never considered for a minute that there might be a a different--and more likely--interpretation.

Marxism mostly dropped class warfare because tje middle class hasn't bought their religion. So in pre 60s the Marxists thought to go with race warfare. That petered out until Barky brought it all in the open again. But meanwhile LGBQXYZ has become the goal for tje Marxists, drafting kids into Trannies. Have seen claims like 20% of kids have moved into sex change ordination pushed by the Cultural Marxism Seminaries ie public schools

My boss, who made about $250,000 a year and had a wife and a couple of young kids, spent the family vacation camping in a local forest for a couple of weeks.

I was impressed - he'd figured out an area where he could economize, instead of going to Hawaii like everyone else in his social class.

The bigger problem is the real tax/regulatory cost is now around 50% of your income AND under the Junta the government was taking 10% of what was left every year through inflation.

If you assume the government doesn't keep growing larger then the economy does over the last 60 years the average income would be MUCH higher because productivity has grown significantly in that time frame.

Back then futurists thought we'd have a 20 hour work week and all live in what are now considered McMansions. Well...they accounted for increases in productivity but not increases in the cost of government

Not all the industry that supported the neighborhood has gone, but the economy and the social structure has changed to the point these neighborhoods are forgotten. Gentrification is a dirty word, but it is also the only salvation.

When times are good the local governments argue people should "share" so the schools and roads can be fixed. Then when times are bad they argue they need the money to help the less fortunate.

But...the roads never get fixed, the schools keep getting worse, and the less fortunate apparently need a bunch of high priced town/state workers more then say a job

Almost all of the young people I know, eat out at the very least a few times a week, take Ubers, go to clubs, go to Starbucks every single morning, take expensive trips, buy expensive cars, etc

and the ones who complain the most about not being able to buy a house hate Trump and vote Democrat.

' I know far too many kids who want to live the high life while complaining that they can't save any money. That's on them.'

You may and it may be but the gigantic and growing gap between average income and average house cost is a more pertinent explanation for the financial inability of the young.
https://tinyurl.com/4ep6kzme

It's a good plot, but I counter with three points:

1) The median household income is diluted by tens of millions of illegals. Without them, the median income would be higher, and the ratio lower.

2) As is pointed out on the plot, the interest rates were very high when preceding generations bought houses, so the net out of pocket was probably not that different to today.

3) Most of the rapid rise in the ratio occurred since 2019. Gee, whatever could account for that? Could it be...Biden?

The problem is wanting to start with a luxury home in great neighborhood. Again the formula was always to get a 'starter' home and progressively move up.'

That's not what I saw in the graph. I saw the average house price inflating much more rapidly than income.

Therefore, for your scenario, the starter home price gets farther and farther out of reach as time moves forward.

Find out the source of housing price inflation and you solve the issue.

Generally speaking it’s hard to lose money owning real estate long term. Short term? Of course markets crash and if you buy at the wrong time and have to sell at the wrong time you’re fucked.

But if your time horizon is 5+ years that’s enough to go through a crash and recover.

And if you’re 23 yeah you should rent. Because a great job may show up somewhere else. Or you’re not sure if the city you’re in is somewhere you want to be long term. But once you’re established career wise, and find a place you like and can see yourself being there for 5+ years, buy.

This gets so tedious. Do you think us boomers were born with downpayment money in our grubby little paws? We worked our asses off and made sacrifices just like generations before us.

When my parents bought a home near NYC when I was a kid we had one car, an older station wagon. We ate well but hardly expensively. Going to a restaurant was an event, it wasn't just another Tuesday. Vacation meant a day trip to the beach. And we lived like that so my folks could save more money to get the next nicer home.

We didn't get new computers, tablets and phones every year. We didn't get them at all. My first cars were absolute shit boxes but they got me where I needed to go for the most part and when they didn't I hitchhiked. I did that a lot.

I think we might be agreeing, but can't be sure.

If there are X million people in the market for homes, and there are 1.3X million people counted among the population, with the 0.3X million extra people having below average incomes, then the price / median income ratio will be artificially boosted despite the fact that the X millions still have the original ratio. The Dems of course have been in a free-fall race to the bottom for years, which has baffled many besides myself. It started back in the 80s, really striking volte-face moves and out of character demagoguery on specific issues that simply seemed artificial. Suppose the easy/lazy "explanation" is default to a wildly radicalizing donor base and the increasingly insane Beltway mediasphere environment.

Ones sign says: "Keep guns out of schools not kids out of bathrooms"

First leftist tactic on display here is using two different issues to try and make a point, i.e. comparing gun issues to trans issues. Anybody capable of any form of logic will see this statement as a failure. Unfortunately, thanks to the Department of Educations efforts over the last 50 years only about 25% of Americans can make that distinction.

Next they ignore the real issue in total: Boys need to be banned from girls bathrooms. Nobody is being denied a bathroom. They are playing on the heartstrings by making the uneducated masses think that marginalized people are being denied something. This is absolutely false.

I think that makes my point. They're getting housing for "free" from us, so they aren't out competing in the housing market and driving up prices. As to Blackrock, I read that they lost their shirts on real estate, so I doubt that's a large contributor to the ratio.

All my mortgages are like that. One in particular saw the property taxes balloon last year or the year before... so the escrow was always short. I upped the payment to cover the shortage rather than be bothered with writing a check for the increase.

I have no expectation that she'll win, but we've already cut her campaign a check. We do what we can.

299 From what I can tell Youngkin accomplished a lot and more importantly stopped the democrat destruction.

Remember it is always easier and quicker to destroy than to construct. We can't put back what was destroyed as fast as it was destroyed.

301 And currently you get a tax break on your mortgage interest payments if you itemize.

302 I was just in line behind an El Dorado pickup and it had been amended to read "Dildorado." Well, I guess you can't say he's not up to date, anyway.

I was in line at a local coffee stand and got a hot chai latte with a shot of cinnamon. It was scrumpdiddiliumptious!

305 The Democrats have always been the party of slavery, secession, and segregation. While they still believe they own blacks, they've expanded their horizons. Now they believe they own everybody, and if you disagree, you should be whipped, and forced to pick cotton.

306 Sure the donk party is a racist plantation but it is built by strong men like islamo-commie Mamdani:

64 vs. 33. A lifetime of hard work vs. a silver spoon. The results speak for themselves.
The weight of the job is too heavy for “Mamscrawny.” The only thing he can lift is your taxes.

Seems like just last week when the fagots and dykes were marching en masse throught the streets waving dildos and shouting "Cocks Not Glocks".

309 There are plenty beautiful black women who are not crazy, but the dems always pick a crazy one, and nearly all of those are, and let’s say the truth, dey ugly.

310 Democrats love their plantations. And they hate it when you tell them that.

311 As the saying goes, scratch the surface of a leftist and you will find the little racist dictator inside (I am paraphrasing).... but you see it over and over again... this is just another sample of the leftist racism..

312 Note that the old hag holding the sign has also participated in pro-"Palestinian" protests.

By the way, some of are wondering if that woman made the sign or the Scam-berger campaign did. Certainly, no one told her it was a bad idea until it got national attention!

313 That sign is an even worse look after reading that it was directed at a black person.
