An administrator asked parents to keep their children at home if possible. Other day cares have stopped taking kids on daily walks because of fears about encountering law enforcement.
People didn't have their lives stolen by demons this week, and this makes the left sad.

I usually make a big batch of demi-glace around New Year. A cube or two of that in the pan sauce really sends it into the stratosphere, but it is admittedly a lot of work. You could probably use Better Than Bouillon.

Anyone afraid of the police needs to get their heads screwed on straight - the police have zero interest in harassing average citizens. Thye actually don't WANT to arrest anyone - it's a big fucking hassle. Lots of paperwork. Risk.
So, the thing is, listen to what they say, comply with their orders, and be nice. Cop tells you to scoot, you scoot. Don't mouth off. Don't ask a million questions.
I've had run ins with cops, never arrested. Because I know that, end of the day, they just want peace and order, not a mountain of paperwork.

Sautéed mushrooms, caramelized onions (my wife took care of that one), herb butter, ... we did the works.

Trump may yet have an appeal as of right. As I noted before, the opinions are a mess, and he might be able to cobble together a convincing case for an appeal as of right.
There are other paths to an appeal as of right, which include constitutional or statutory grounds. While there are constitutional issues here, it looks like Trump won them and thus wouldn't appeal on those grounds.

There are plenty of videos in my youtube feed where cops end up doing something stupid and wrong (Civil Rights Lawyer is one ). Usually the cop in those videos is just an entitled a-hole who shouldn't be cop. But there are a few where if the citizen had just stopped, complied and not act in a way that a reasonable observer would say is suspicous, everything would have been fine. What other choice do they have, though? They need to upgrade to keep pace. And regardless, Disney will remain a big draw for families with little kids. Their attendance will suffer, but I doubt by much. The parks are for some reason huge money-makers, and the cruises too.

It's just Tom Sawyer Island and Thunder Mountain. Just looks like a lot cuz that was a lot of space... Few went to the former (I never did), and the latter is arguably worth a shut down for what they're doing ('Cars Land'). I've got a couple of cops in the immediate family. They're good guys and FAIR. I know, for a fact, that their main concern on a pull over is safety (theirs and the person they pulled over). They both tell me one of the things they most like to see when pulling someone over is simply two hands on the steering wheel as they approach. If it is at night and the driver makes the effort to do that AND turn on the dome light...they take that into account.

It's an odd dynamic too: while they obviously compete against each other, the more parks and competitors that are there creates a bigger overall draw. It's like you usually find car dealers located together. You'd think a Toyota dealership would not want an arch-rival like Honda right next door. But having them close together creates a draw for customers that benefits both.

Yeah, our oldest are 9 & 8 (boys), doing WDW for the 5th time in October. And they are talking about doing Space Mountain for the 1st time (we did Guardians 2 years ago and they were both crying). No need for the fastest rides. And they're not into Harry Potter. At least not yet...
I don't know if anyone will be able to match the whole WDW experience. With all the different resorts and everything else. We really look at the resorts as part of the vacation (Art of Animation, All-Stars, doing Caribbean Beach this time...). I wouldn't mind Bob Iger vanishing to another dimension (with pain) along with Kaffeine Kennedy and the rest of the Marxist a-holes destroying Disney. But WDW is a lot for them to destroy. Though they certainly tried with all the gayness and trans-a-holes at Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique etc....

There needs to be a Constitutional Amendment to prevent bullshit charges like this being tacked on to an indictment. A dildo is not a "weapon"; any more than a heavy backpack is a weapon before you smack a robber with it.
This is a ploy to force the defendant into a plea-bargain. Also allows the judge and prosecution to increase the sentence beyond what the offense merits.

And we're mega-splurging this time and doing MK with the new Lightning Premier Pass, where you can walk onto any ride (once) without having to book a Lightning / FastPass spot, etc. Friends did that a coupla months ago and said it was awesome. This is another example of judicial tyranny in service to some small pocket of stuff that won't materially affect the larger policy.
Even if this goes into effect (doubtful), ICE just houses the deportees due for removal somewhere else slightly less convenient, and the area will still see dozens, if not hundreds of deportations happening.
All while continuing to make the case to the American people as part of the overall white noise of politics that the judiciary is out of control.

There needs to be a Constitutional Amendment to prevent bullshit charges like this being tacked on to an indictment. A dildo is not a "weapon"; any more than a heavy backpack is a weapon before you smack a robber with it.
This is a ploy to force the defendant into a plea-bargain. Also allows the judge and prosecution to increase the sentence beyond what the offense merits.

Until it needs a new spool. My company tried full automation a couple of years ago. I suspect it'll never happen beings I have 8 $300,000 robots sitting in a corner depressed.
