The Morning Report — 8/8/25

TXFLEECircus.jpg

Good morning kids. Democrat/Leftist hypocrisy in service of tyrannical evil tops the news on the domestic side, with the Democrat scum Texas Flee Circus at the top of the heap. In complete abrogation of their oaths of office, rather than do their duty as they had sworn by debating and then voting on the plan to redraw congressional districts, which would have bolstered the GOP's majority of seats in the state, and is something the vast majority of Texans voted for and want, these filthy criminals hit the road and fled to Illinois and New York. And speaking of my former home state, its wax works harridan of a governor announced this:

Governor Kathy Hochul (D-NY) said Thursday on MSNBC’s “The Weeknight” that everyone should stand up and not let the FBI “hunt down” the 50 Texas Democrat legislators who left the state to avoid a vote on redistricting.

The Democrat Party is a lawless, insurrectionist terrorist organization dressed in the trappings of a political party, that has been undermining our nation and society in its unslakable lust for absolute power for over 200 years. From slavery, to civil war, to government-sanctioned racism and concentration camps for the Nisei, to election rigging,

Dear FBI, anyone and everyone including this slithering cadaver who gets in the way of your agents doing their duty should have the cuffs slapped on them and hauled off to a jail cell. But as we all know, lawlessness is as lawlessness does. And on that note, the beatdown from a corrupt leftist controlled/manipulated judiciary goes on:

U.S. District Judge Kathleen Williams—an Obama appointee, naturally—issued a temporary restraining order Thursday to halt construction at Florida's migrant detention facility, dubbed "Alligator Alcatraz.”  The 14-day order stops all construction projects at the facility, including lighting, paving, excavation, and fencing, though it doesn't affect current detainees. Williams justified her decision by claiming environmental concerns, citing potential damage to "sensitive wetlands" and threats to "protected plants and animals."

Can you hear my eyes rolling? Let's be crystal clear about what's really happening here: This judge prioritized hypothetical environmental damage over actual border security and the safety of American citizens.

And Psaki-Psircling back to my railing against the Democrats' history of misery, evil and crime:

The battle between Texas and Democrat states over gerrymandering seems likely to touch on the biggest driver of Democrat gerrymandering which fundamentally altered the political balance of power in state after state. Louisiana v. Callais is likely headed for a big Supreme Court decision that will fundamentally change how the Voting Rights Act enforces minority districts.

There’s nothing to celebrate about the 60th anniversary of the VRA, a civil rights era relic which long ago stopped fighting segregation and instead enforced partisan gerrymandering with no end in sight. When the Supreme Court began allowing VRA ‘monitoring’ of elections in some states to sunset, Democrats cried that segregation and slavery were about to come back. But for all the talk of democracy and racism, Louisiana v. Callais shows what keeping the zombie VRA alive is really about. The case is about whether federal courts can force Louisiana to create two Democrat congressional seats under the guise of creating two black seats. It’s a common form of gerrymandering that uses race as a trojan horse for mandating Dem seats.

When heavily gerrymandered Democrat states like California, New York and Illinois eliminate Republican seats, that’s not seen as a Voting Rights Act violation even though much as Democrat seats are disproportionately minority, Republican seats are disproportionately white.

Democrats are not fighting to keep the VRA alive because they care about black people, but because they care about maintaining the racially gerrymandered seats produced by VRA abuses.

Given the miracle of the Dobbs decision that dismantled the evil of Roe v. Wade, and the torrent of vitriol and actual terrorism against pro-life organizations and churches as well as average citizens

Man Who Brutally Beat Elderly Pro-Lifers Dodges Prison Time — He was sentenced to only one year of home detention after the brutal attack outside a Planned Parenthood facility.

As we discussed on the latest episode of the podcast, the notion that the Russia Collusion hoax pimps/purveyors will be prosecuted let alone convicted are slim to none.

Most especially Barack Hussein Obama, because of the firestorm of racialist violence it would unleash that will make the 2020 Summer of Floyd look like a smoldering cigarette butt drooping from his purple dog-eating lips. Given all of that do you think that SCOTUS especially this one is going to even hint at reversing the hideous VRA?!

Moving on to the international scene, this item caught my eye this morning:

The Trump administration on Thursday offered a $50 million reward for information leading to the arrest of Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro. “Maduro uses foreign terrorist organizations like [Tren de Aragua], Sinaloa and Cartel of the Suns to bring deadly drugs and violence into our country,” Attorney General Pam Bondi said in a video posted on X. The Drug Enforcement Administration has thus far seized 30 tons of cocaine linked to Maduro and his associates, Bondi said, and “nearly seven tons linked to Maduro himself, which represents a primary source of income for the deadly cartels based in Venezuela and Mexico.”

One wonders if this is a shot across the bow against Brazil's commie dictator Lula Da Silva, who fancies himself as a Bolivarian anti-Trump. Hopefully Maduro goes the way of Manuel Noriega late of Panama and this mortal coil.

And in the Middle East, as we also discussed on the podcast, it looks as if Israel at long last is going to re-occupy Gaza in part if not completely in a final bid to free the remaining hostages and stomp out Hamas.

Israel’s political-security cabinet approved a plan early on Friday to take control of Gaza City, as the country expands its military operations despite intensifying criticism at home and abroad over the devastating almost two-year-old war. “The IDF will prepare to take control of Gaza City while providing humanitarian aid to the civilian population outside the combat zones,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said in a statement, referring to the Israeli Defence Forces.

Let's hope the Israelis have finally rejected the insanity of land for peace.

Israel Can’t Win Without Beating the Muslim Brotherhood And the same is true for America.

Certainly this is true, but at the end of the day what is the muslim Brotherhood? And what is Hamas, Hezbollah and all the rest, be they head choppers, Islamikaze suicide bombers or merely ululate and pass out candy when Jews are raped, beheaded and roasted alive in front of their parents? All of them are ISLAM.

And whatever became of this effort. Yeah go after Maduro, but I think this is pretty damned crucial as well.

++++
Why not? I mean, besides the obvious reason of Party preference.

I have no idea if I am right, but it *looks* straightforward to me:
1. The Texas Democrat congressmen have fled the state to avoid performing their duties as congressmen.
2. Fleeing the state to avoid performing congressional duties is a violation of Texas law
3. Texas demands extradition of the fled congressmen back to Texas so they can face prosecution
4. The destination state refused extradition

Correct me if I am wrong (seriously), but isn't this one of those fairly rare examples of the legitimate and constitutional uses of federal police powers? This is an extradition disagreement between two states.

++++
This is a wildly inaccurate statement. Nothing of the sort happened.

The judge prioritized Party objectives over law, reason or sense. The Party objective is to interfere with immigration enforcement. The judge's job was to advance that objective. The judge found a way to advance that objective. That's it.

The actual rationalization used for the ruling - in this case it was the environment (and wrongly, per my understanding of the laws/rules cited, but I dunno), but it could have been anything - is irrelevant. The judge did *not* choose to put hypothetical environmental damage over the actual security and safety of citizens. The judge *did* choose to advancing Party objectives over everything else, at all costs.

It's time to stop letting these people claim that it's a dislocation between some judge's priority X, Y or Z over some other person's priority A, B, C. It is *never* about that. Ever. It's Party Objective vs Other. Every time. Without exception.

Eh, I kinda doubt it. This reward will never be paid, and neither will some equivalent for anyone else. Maduro - or Da Silva, or anyone similar - is not going to be captured without military action. It's irrelevant in practical terms.

So it has a different purpose. It could be as simple as marketing (like the Iraq leadership playing cards), or there could be some legal technicality that is being satisfied by making the head of state of a designated state sponsor of terrorism formally a "wanted man." I dunno.

This is they key point that so very many people fail to understand. There are various "shot callers" throughout the Complex, but there is no unified plan. No head hencho. No dictator defining what needs to happen at all levels. There doesn't need to be and such a structure is, in reality, a liability.

Much better to just have fellow travelers who know what to do.

Upon assessment of how Nazi Germany operated, Kershaw described it as "Working Toward the Fuhrer." Hitler (or his lieutenants) didn't have to issue orders for most routine things. Those in positions of control at all levels - the social secretary of a village, the production coordinator at a factory, whatever - knew what the Fuhrer wanted and just "worked toward" it in his own way. No orders needed. No vast conspiracy. Just alignment.

Excerpt from JJ's link to the article:

"There is more than enough circumstantial evidence in Rich’s death to warrant a complete and thorough criminal investigation, to determine or disprove if Seth’s murder was committed to protect the exposure of the Russian Collusion as false from before the 2016 election. The FBI has gone to extraordinary lengths to obstruct the release of Rich’s information, citing classified documents, ongoing investigations, and other specious reasons. Why?

Rich’s death is the tip of the iceberg and is the Achilles heel of the Cabal."

Not even.

It's just political marketing. Fine wants something to claim he did in the next election, while actually doing nothing. He "proposed legislation" to do something obvious. That's as far as it will go, as far as it ever goes, as far as it is *designed* to go. This is pick up a talking point and do nothing. Probably 80% of Congressional activity is political marketing. Most of what they do is either obvious or outrageous, and designed to fail but accumulate talking points.

It's really remarkable how well Trump's rationalization of conflict negotiation has gone. Not a perfect track record (Russia and Ukraine are still at war, Iran is barely contained, etc.) but a damn good one, and much better than any of his predecessors going back many decades. 105 What's actually been going on is that the Earth has been warming for other reasons that have nothing to do with Man. It's "sun cycle" variations that were studied in the past but ignored today.

CO2 in the atmosphere has been increasing but that's a lagging effect of, not a cause of, the Earth's warming. As the oceans warm they can't hold gases as well so a small amount of those gases moves into the air, CO2 included. It's science!

As a youth, I unwittingly ran an experiment that proves this. More than once I let my tropical fish tank get too warm which drove out the O2 (and CO2) so my guppies went belly up. Where's my Nobel Prize?

Zeldin just had the EPA propose rule changes to overturn the Endangerment Finding that CO2 is the cause and more. This will have momentous consequences but you won't hear of it in our Media which only covers its own circus.

And they're *almost* right about that. Almost.

It was never a majority position among the left. Most of the left didn't notice or care. It was, as it always is, an extremely shrill, extremely stupid and extremely loud corps of social media denizens going insane. That's all it *ever* is. But this time - as is increasingly happening as the preference cascade does its thing - it didn't work. The right amplified the crazies and didn't let up on taking them to the rhetorical woodshed.

The non-Left *did* amplify it hard and cause it to go into an escalation cycle that left the Left looking more and more insane and retarded. But the Left also needs to be careful about admitting this. Much of their social power has been coming from these retarded blue-hairs shrieking on X and TikTok. it was never any more real than this incident was, and they should be cautious when it comes to admitting that.

No, it is not, but the reason is that *everyone* on all sides is lying about what’s going on for their own political purposes. (I can’t say enough how much this story annoys me). The whole thing is a big gay Kabuki theater dance and anyone who’s involved knows it. Start with the most recent - no, Patel did NOT agree to get the FBI involved, except for information. What is that information? It’s looking at any media outlet and reading about the hotel in Illinois where they’re all staying and holding nightly public parties and saying “look at us! Here we are, Nyah Nyah!” And then they drop their pants and moon everyone. Yeah, it’s real hard to figure out where they are.
Actual fact: no, they cannot be detained by anyone outside of the State of Texas because they are *Not* charged with any actual crime. (Cont’d)

Absolutely. As we conspiracy theorists have been saying for years the globalists at the UN/WEF/every other globalist institution, were hell bent on their plans for an open border, global governance regime and they were well down the road implementing it.

And then along came Trump. Look what they tried to do to him. Put aside the outrage for a second and just factually look at what they did just to try and keep him out of office not to mention silence us. It was never a conspiracy theory. It was a conspiracy and it wasn't just confined to the US.

The trade deals Trump is doing are way bigger than just financial. He is resetting global relations and ending wars. And he's destroying their open borders myth while inspiring like minded people around the world.

It is a war of a different type and we were losing. Not so much anymore. Miles to go but we are fighting and winning.

Off to find out why my shoulder is broken. Have great day, morons.

Again, this is pretty much true. The Left did its thing and the retards went on social media to bitch and complain about Muh Identity Politics, to get the non-faith-promoting thing shut down.

The Right took it, amplified it, and turned it back on them. The Right *did* "shape the argument" insofar as it ever actually was an argument. But it wasn't actually an argument. The argument never existed. Retarded crazies looking to flex bigger-than-it-appears social power existed, and the Right called their bluff as it has been doing more frequently.

So suddenly he jumped out of the bushes a couple days ago and demanded a meeting with Kash Patel to see how the FBI could do.
Well Kash hemmed and hawed and tried to be respectful to the Senator, but he also knew the demand was ridiculous - there are no actual charges against any of them. So he offered to give Cornyn “information” as to where they are, which involves looking up either Daily Beast or Politico and reading about the hotel parties in Illinois that the runaway Dems are having every night.

And now Cornyn’s PR team is flogging the thing as hard as they can, to try to say “look what I am doing for Texas! Don’t vote for that chump Paxton!”

(Yes he has the backing of the Bush Family org). So it had to be brought up in a special session called by the Governor.

And yes the CofC/GOP-e/Bush Family “republicans” love the that Dems have run away. They pretend to be “conservative” to get votes, while in office they work as hard as they can to sabotage everything.

Women's Tennis is the better watch, especially on hard courts...
Women's gymnastics and figure skating have more art and flexibility than men's (and better looking folks, let's be honest)...
Women's beach volleyball can also be the better watch b/c there's more back and forth (again, men can be too good and make it less fun to watch serve, spike, redo)...

Women's swimming and track probably draw equally to men - swimming being big here and track in Europe, but again, not exactly team, and look and drama probably plays a role (as does our own country's talent).

200 My thinking on the WNBA dildo tossing has evolved.

I think it would be funnier if they managed to smuggle remote controlled vehicles into the building and have them drag the dildos around the court while players and officials try to capture them.

If they could get multiple vehicles onto the court, people could place bets.

Everyone have a happy day!

And with rare exceptions, very few major household-name kind of stars even where it's popular enough to survive. To get that kind of star power - and the paycheck to match - you have to be in one of the big ones. And that's relevant because it does come down to money.

Women's soccer and basketball in particular have bugs up their asses about earning so much less than the male teams. Well yeah. The male teams put butts in seats. The female teams don't. Nobody cares, and the female teams exist on subsidies.

Outside of the big sports, sometimes female versions of the thing are worth it - but the paychecks aren't big enough to really bitch about anyway. Tennis is, but it's also an individual game (except doubles, I guess).

It’s not that he wasn’t ready, it’s that he oversold his threat for political purposes. The actual process to remove a legislator from office requires filing a motion at a district court requesting a finding of abandonment of office, and hoping to get a sympathetic ruling. (That will depend on his judge shopping skills). Maybe it could work that easy, maybe it will get bogged down in months of appeals and delays.
A Texas Governor does not have the power to do this on his own; by design the Texas Governor’s office is one of the weakest of any of the States. I actually give credit to Abbot for having been able to do so much with it by bluffing most of the time.

And honestly, if anything could work, I'd think women's ice hockey could work better b/c it would be higher scoring than men, and women could bring more grace than grit (so it could be a "different but equal" watch - aka, they'd look more like Russian teams than American ones)...but ice hockey, like baseball, is on the bottom of the big 4, and probably now under soccer at 5...so, it's already bleeding interest on the men's side and wouldn't rekindle it with women...

Donald Trump does *not* belong in the same club as Barack Obama, Al Gore and Yasser Arafat. The Nobel Peace Prize is a grotesque exercise in hideousness that brings shame to the winner's family. Why subject Trump to that? It isn't worth it, not even if it represents the Nobel panels bending the knee.

263 I'll take the other side of this. I hope Trump doesn't get it. Ever. Not because he doesn't deserve it or hasn't earned it - he has - but because the prize itself is such a festering boil.

The prize is just so ugly and contemptible now that the best thing to do would be for him to reject it in the unlikely event that they do offer it.

272 Since I started the topic, I should finish - so what is the desk about “arresting” the runaway legislators? The Texas Constitution allows the Texas Governor to ask Texas State LEO (Rangers, State Police, DPS) to detain missing legislators and deliver them to the State Capitol when there is a quorum call and they are not present. This is called “arrest” but it is more properly called temporary detention. No charges are filed, and as soon as they make an appearance at the Capitol building all is dropped.

Since no actual charges are in play, no other State has to recognize this, and Texas LEO have no jurisdiction outside State boundaries.

Long story short, as long as they’re out of state, it’s an empty threat. Which is why they are out of state. (And everyone knows this)

In college, yes I know it's different but hang with me, only about 50 men's bball programs turn a profit, over the last about 5 years of baseball only 4 teams have turned a profit, and in the last 5 of softball only 2. (or thereabouts). All other sports are paid for by football

County, state, fairs, hundreds of games on military bases, even on an aircraft carrier once. Struck out 7 HOF baseball players in a row in the 60s, including Mays, Aaron, Killebrew. It's been more recent than that. I think the Blue Origin NS-31 trip - the Estronaut mission - likely marks the critical turning point, and it was only a few months ago.

Even last year, Katy Perry and Gale King crowing about being astronaut heroes would have been able to carry the narrative and it would have fizzled out. But I think we are in the inflection point now and this time, the grrrrl power thing could not carry the day, nor could the media outlets and the blue-hairs on X and TikTok.

The Sydney Sweeney ad *could* wind up being a turning point on the "everything is racist" thing, but it's too early to tell. It also acts as a confirming data point for the changes to the general level of tolerance for grrrrl power narratives.

But what Abbott has done is to make a national issue out of a big series of bluffs in which he’s been claiming to have power that he simply does not have. So he’s got to get lucky and get a series of friendly judicial breaks to go on from here.

So far he’s made the best of a very weak hand. We’ll see what he can do from here.

There is an insurrection in the country, a creeping fascism, a defiance of the Constitution: It is the judiciary.

2) Clown Judge Bonerbuger is working toward releasing the grand jury testimony of Kash Patel in re. J6 Witchhunt. Based on the flimsy excuse of the Senate D's "investigation" during his already-past confirmation. Mootness, standing and public interest are irrelevant to attacking Trump.

3) The Hate Feed has whining about Trump's 16th consecutive win at SCOTUS. Crying that he's using the "shadow docket." Well bitches, if the clown judges weren't issuing illegal order, with no basis in law or fact, then the record would be 0-0.
Especially since the more retarded clown judges don't understand that the shadow docket is binding and precedential--not the dissents.
Oh well, you're just giving Trump more power.

336 Whatever. It's an entertainment product. People like to be entertained and will spend their money to be entertained. Is entertainment strictly productive? Not really, based on the return on capital for most of it. But there will always be a market for it.

Entertainment is one thing. But sports people take it to a whole new level. Wearing the jerseys, putting flags on their houses, painting their faces. And the whole “we” won or “my” team. Nah bruh you’re the guy who pays for it all, you’re not part of the team.

It’s silly but whatever everyone spends their money on things they enjoy. If that’s your thing rock and roll. .

It's boilerplate at this point - they love the whales and birds so long as there's not a hale and bird-slaughtering wind farm to be built.

We all know that it's not about the wildlife, yet we're all expected to play along that this was a legitimate ruling.

Doesn't bother me. I don't really get it, but whatever. It's entertainment and a social event and a major brand affiliation. As long as you don't want my money for it, have at it. Buy all the jerseys you want.

The only think that really rankles me is when they take my money (stadium subsidies, etc.) for it or try to use social power to exploit their fans for sociopolitical purposes ("fuck you, whitey," etc). The latter is self-limiting.

347 Williams justified her decision by claiming environmental concerns, citing potential damage to "sensitive wetlands" and threats to "protected plants and animals."

In an ideal world:

"Despite the ruling, Governor DeSantis ordered the construction to continue and has authorized the National Guard to use lethal force at any attempt to stop the construction.

"President Trump issued a statement suggesting that Williams 'Cry Harder' to see if it would help."

: Biden abused his authority by turning FEMA into a far-left political machine

352 NYPost:

“FEMA’s job is to make sure Americans who have suffered catastrophic loss due to some disaster in their community [can access] food, water and shelter … Under President Biden, FEMA, like every agency, produced a plan on how they would leverage these crisis situations for political [purposes]. I can’t think of anything more disgusting.”
FEMA snubbed GOP

FEMA employees were so fixated on voter outreach that, when they visited hurricane-ravaged Florida last October, they didn’t even bother knocking on the doors of houses that had Trump signs in the yard.

Instead of assisting Hurricane Milton survivors, they were instructed to “avoid homes advertising Trump,” according to an Office of Special Counsel complaint.

FEMA supervisor Marn’i Washington was fired as a scapegoat after Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis called foul on the scam and the Daily Wire reported that at least 20 homes with Trump signs or flags had been skipped by FEMA and denied the opportunity of qualifying for federal assistance.

It stands to reason that if FEMA’s priority was getting out Democrats to vote, the last people they would want to visit were Trump supporters.
