I like the design and I like the elegance of the lace. As far as wealthy boys being dressed in what might seem like an effeminate manner, this was true through the late 1800's. and no, neither the parents nor the male children thought that they were girls. That was left to nutcase leftists pushing this.

This is a remarkable portrait. The details and use of natural colors, especially the clothing and skin tones, feels realistic, like the viewer is in the room. But the direct glance of the child at the viewer, apparently a technique of this artist, makes it so effective.

I have been using AI to rewrite my resume to better fit job announcements.
Priming it with "what are the KSA for this job? what does an ideal candidate look like? which parts of my resume match?, etc." Dang, if you're capable of supervising it to filter out the fibs (like it tried to add skill/experience I don't have just to match the announcement), it's pretty good at helping overcome a deeply embedded aversion to self-congratulation. I think the best description of AI is, it's not going to do your job for you but it can help you do your job much, much better. Posted by: People's Hippo Voice at August 12, 2025 10:26 AM (Xoc7P) 148

Did that idiot think Trump went there to sightsee? The best part was Powell trying to tell Trump the numbers he had were wrong. Hey dumbass? The numbers are irrelevant. The point was, an expert in major commercial construction was standing there telling you the project was FUBAR and way over-budget. At that point, you have one option: Fire every manager and file suit against the construction company for the over-runs. Libs of TikTok@libsoftiktok HOLY SHLIT: Melissa Moorman, an employee of the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (@KYTC), was FIRED after she blew the whistle on a scheme to give driver's licenses to illegal aliens at $200 each "under the table." Moorman says that the scheme would happen 4-5 times PER DAY at multiple branches across the state, totaling potentially THOUSANDS of invalid licenses. KYTC claims the licenses were issued "in error." After exposing the scheme, Moorman was fired. The KYTC also denied any public request for documentation, withholding nearly 2,300 records. Cable networks are probably going to start going dark soon as virtually everyone under the age of sixty is cutting the cord and thus killing any influence that CNN might have with anyone other than their dwindling, aging, and out of touch viewers. All CNN does everyday is provide a certain age segment continuous reinforcement for Orange Man Bad idiocy. Consider that Geritol probably was more healthy that what CNN peddles. A couple years ago, maybe 2 - 3 or so, the capitol police or someone affiliated with them put out a "primer" on how to stay safe on D.C. streets while driving.
Some tips: - Keep the windows rolled up at all times. (A short discussion on what to do in summer if you don't have A/C was to roll the windows up "half way.") - Drive in the center lane to avoid carjacking. - Don't travel alone. - At lights or stop signs leave enough room to get around other vehicles in the event of violence. This, while at the same time claiming the capitol city was safer than ever. Posted by: Martini Farmer at August 12, 2025 11:12 AM (Q4IgG) 249
