Just last week some video was released showing a poltergeist, or "angry ghost," which appeared on the stage and spoke in tongues. Bunny absolutely DESTROYS agility course. I assume. I have no basis for comparison. To be honest this bunny might have just posted rookie numbers and I wouldn't be the wiser. Road thug robs local priests. Birds instinctively peck out a fire. Baby rhino defends his mom. The family that plays together stays together. I'd hate to have to sit next to this one-ton Tommy. You can only push a puppy so far before he fights back. Cute puppy demands you respecc his dicc. This dog is ready for his Eyes Wide Shut sex orgy. "Bring the young one to me." Adorable puppy says this bed is my Love Gym. This puppy has his Gimp Mask on. He may look like a virgin, but make no mistake, this puppy fucks hard. Ass gas or grass, no one rides for free. Puppy says "While you're down there..." This dog is reflecting on his last nut.

The Brown Lady of Raynham Hall, one of the most famous ghost photographs of all time, originally taken for Country Life and first published in December 1936
___________________________________ I still believe that those photographs that show "apparitions" are merely proving the Theory of Relativity, and the fact that past, present, and future can coexist simultaneously. The right conditions have to occur is all. And, to this date we haven't figured out what those conditions are to establish evidence of a Block Universe. Incidentally, I believe this same premise can be applied to those electronic voice phenomena (EVP) recordings that people claim to be ghosts or demons speaking. Instead, it a being speaking in the past or future as defined in a Block universe where past, present and future exist simultaneously. Posted by: Orson at August 05, 2025 07:47 PM (dIske) 27

I haven't gone through today's earlier threads, so I don't know if this was discussed:
"Acting president Jill Biden had to diffuse a diplomatic crisis after Harris snuck into the Situation Room to watch Kung Fu Panda 4 before calling the Chinese ambassador to complain about the lack of diversity." Apparently, if this is true, the Biden and Harris camps are warily watching each other over what is contained in the book Harris is about to release: "Journalist Mark Halperin revealed on Friday that Biden's team is wary of what Harris plans to say in her upcoming book, 107 Days, and is prepared to unleash some "Palinesque stories about how much they tried to help her be prepared to be vice president and be in a position to run, and how much they decided, 'Not happening. She's not up to this.'" If the sentient individuals close to Joe Biden "feel threatened" by Harris's revelations, the situation "is gonna escalate in a big way," Halperin said. "And she will have a hard time defending against the stories if that dam bursts."" https://tinyurl.com/5njtrrxt Posted by: Sasquatch, the Original Trans-Wookie at August 05, 2025 07:59 PM (6cd19) 56

As black-humorously funny as it would be, they're not tossing live pets into the tiger enclosure.
The zoo points to guinea pigs, rabbits and chickens as possible donations. After being euthanized, the animals will be used as fodder, the zoo said. "That way, nothing goes to waste - and we ensure natural behavior, nutrition and well-being of our predators," the zoo said. Not sure where euthanasized pets create more "natural behavior" than butcher-shop leftovers, but maybe it makes sense in the original Danish. Posted by: mikeski at August 05, 2025 08:12 PM (DgGvY) 93

Werner surfaces to state his belief that the Block Universe is the result of the existence of Ayn Rand, a force so significant and singular that Space and Time curved around her, with global timelines, events, and trauma resulting from it. Or as she would call it, just another Tuesday. She is, I believe, safely deceased now, but I know that such would be what she would want all to believe. As the saying goes, Ayn Rand's greatest trick was to make the world believe she did not exist. And just like that, poof, she was gone.

No doubt the problem has attractions for those it interests, but to the ordinary man it would seem as if effort might be employed more profitably." 69 days later, the Wright brothers first flew. The VAB could process four (4) Saturn V rockets at a time, and three (3) launchpads were planned though only two were built. Over 100 Saturn V rocket launches were planned, though only a dozen were built.

>>As of 2003, the ISS hit 98% water recovery rate, up from about 80%. It's not quite that efficient, and they still get water resupply. You also have to do something with the feces, the ISS puts their feces into containers and ejects them to burn up in the earths atmosphere. You can't do that on a manned mission to the moon as you would end up littering the path to Mars with potential collision obstacles on the path. Again, the logistics of getting people to Mars are daunting and not easily solved. Posted by: Thomas Bender at August 05, 2025 08:59 PM (XV/Pl) 194

NASA planners envisioned a crewed Mars mission in the 1982-1985 time frame. The infrastructure was built. The VAB could process four (4) Saturn V rockets at a time, and three (3) launchpads were planned though only two were built. Over 100 Saturn V rocket launches were planned, though only a dozen were built.
We should have had routine, affordable lunar orbit tourism long ago. Instead our “leaders” threw it all away. They can’t even get into earth orbit now. After 60 years, they are trying to learn it all over again with great difficulty. And they are extremely risk averse, compounding the problem. Very sad. The Apollo missions were careful about solid waste/garbage disposal. Liquid waste, mostly water was not a problem. It just freezes and sublimes away. There were just a few Apollo missions. The odds of the random piece of something from a previous mission hitting the next mission were very low, but they didn't want to take any chances. They left a lot on the Moon. Stirling slid out the screen door one Saturday afternoon earlier this year. I didn't see him go, as I was in the bedroom. I came back, looking for him, and then realized he'd zipped out past the screen door.
I found him crouched and squeaking in distress under the window air conditioner, three feet from the door. When I scooped him up, he was perfectly happy to be brought back in. Scared himself. Now he hovers around the door from time to time, but he doesn't really want to dash out. Posted by: Wolfus Aurelius, Dreaming of Elsewhere at August 05, 2025 09:49 PM (omVj0) 286

Prudence would say it isn't a good idea to dabble in the satanic, but nearly every sin is forgivable if one is given the gift of perfect contrition. You and I can't know that about anyone but ourselves. When my cousin committed suicide, I asked my priest what on earth I was to do with that. He said, "Pray." There is a quite the thermal cycling that goes on the surface of the Moon. It does get cold on the Moon.
You’re forgetting the temperature swing is also hotter than hell, too. Roughly +200F and -200F below. Something like that. Apollo missions landed in early lunar morning, daytime on the moon lasts about two weeks. So it was about + 90F in the sun. Anything thrown on the surface gets alternately frozen and roasted. Apollo landing sites are off limits by international agreements. No artifact collecting, that includes astro-turds. Copraphiles Posted by: Common Tater at August 05, 2025 09:59 PM (2BdZb) 310

Sabbath were not my cup o tea but I don't think of their music as satanic or inspired by satan.
The story goes that they were a generic blues band named Earth and were looking for some new hook, the boys went to see the horror movie Black Sabbath and came up with the idea of making music that would give the unsettling feeling of a horror film. Posted by: Bulg at August 05, 2025 09:46 PM (77rzZ) For the most part, rock music is like pro wrestling. Their personas are an act, and the audience is in on the act. There are exceptions, of course. But in general, taking rock seriously enough to regard its participants as evil is like genuinely hating the heels in wrestling. Virtually no one is worshipping the Devil. Kinda like how kids trick or treating on Halloween are not in league with Hell, even if the holiday is all about witches, monsters, and spooks.
