Kash Patel: We Found a Trove of RussiaGate Documents In a Secret Room at the FBI, Stuffed Into "Burn Bags" for Easy Incineration

I guess they didn't burn these particular documents, though they had them at the ready to be destroyed.

FBI Director Kash Patel found a trove of sensitive documents related to the origins of the Trump--Russia probe buried in multiple "burn bags" in a secret room inside the bureau, sources told Fox News Digital.

Sources told Fox News Digital that the "burn bag" system is used to destroy documents designated as classified or higher.

Sources told Fox News Digital that multiple burn bags were found and filled with thousands of documents.

Sources told Fox News Digital that one of the documents FBI officials found in a burn bag was the classified annex to former special counsel John Durham's final report, which includes the underlying intelligence he reviewed.

Oh -- I guess the disclosures mentioned earlier, about a George Soros stooge coordinating with a Hillary Clinton operative to gin up the RussiaGate hoax, came from one of these burn bags.

...

Sources exclusively briefed Fox News Digital on some of the contents of the classified annex -- including that the U.S. intelligence community had credible foreign sources indicating that the FBI would play a role in spreading the alleged Trump--Russia collusion narrative -- before the bureau ever launched its controversial Crossfire Hurricane probe.

A source familiar with the contents of the classified annex told Fox News Digital that while it may not have been exactly clear in the moment what the intelligence collection meant, with the benefit of hindsight, it predicted the FBI's next move "with alarming specificity."

"Ultimately, the release of the classified annex will lend more credibility to the assertion that there was a coordinated plan inside the U.S. government to help the Clinton campaign stir up controversy connecting Trump to Russia," the source, who was granted anonymity to discuss sensitive intelligence matters that have not yet been made public, told Fox News Digital.

Dan Bongino says there is so much corruption he can't barely keep it together.

FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino posted a lengthy message on his official X account in which he vowed to bring the American people "the truth" after saying that he had learned things that "shocked" him.

"During my tenure here as the Deputy Director of the FBI, I have repeatedly relayed to you that things are happening that might not be immediately visible, but they are happening," Bongino wrote.

"What I have learned in the course of our properly predicated and necessary investigations into these aforementioned matters, has shocked me down to my core. We cannot run a Republic like this. I'll never be the same after learning what I've learned."

It is unclear what exactly Bongino was referring to in his post.

Dan Bongino
@FBIDDBongino

During my tenure here as the Deputy Director of the FBI, I have repeatedly relayed to you that things are happening that might not be immediately visible, but they are happening.

The Director and I are committed to stamping out public corruption and the political weaponization of both law enforcement and intelligence operations. It is a priority for us. But what I have learned in the course of our properly predicated and necessary investigations into these aforementioned matters, has shocked me down to my core. We cannot run a Republic like this. I'll never be the same after learning what I've learned.

We are going to conduct these righteous and proper investigations by the book and in accordance with the law. We are going to get the answers WE ALL DESERVE. As with any investigation, I cannot predict where it will land, but I can promise you an honest and dignified effort at truth. Not "my truth," or "your truth," but THE TRUTH.

God bless America, and all those who defend Her.
Respectfully,
Dan

It does seem odd that these bags would still be around after so many years. Unless that was the intent.

Someone on the inside WANTED these bags to be found. Otherwise they would have been found and destroyed years ago.

What's the average length of time between when documents are marked for destruction and the actual incineration?

Posted by: "Perfessor" Squirrel at July 31, 2025 02:51 PM (7fElN)

21 Sorry but I have to toss the B$ flag on this. If they had the presence of mind to stuff all of the incriminating evidence into burn bags to get rid of them why didn't they like actually get rid of them?

Seriously, they were just sitting there in the burn room ready to go. At least one person should have had a match or cigarette lighter or something.

And yes I know it is a bit more complicated than that. I used to use the burn chamber to get rid of classified material in the Navy. But my point still stands. They did all of the prep work and just walked out with everything just sitting there neatly bagged up waiting to be found.

Someone earlier, sorry I can credit them because I don't remember who is was, suggested these documents were not burned, because there was no "chain of custody" style documentation for them to be burned. Because of that, the person who may have had charge of burning the documents did not do so, for the very real fear of getting charged for destruction of evidence.

Thank the Lord that our side is in charge, and able to show this to the people, but just think about if Trump would not have won, we would be functioning under a completely unaccountable false regime, like we were from 2020 until now.

At what point does the American begin to hate, as the poem goes? This kind of stuff is genuinely corrosive to our form of governance on a fundamental level. It's very difficult to even think of how bad this really is in terms of objective political actions. Fake intelligence was used as a basis for a real criminal investigation. People went to jail. People's lives were ruined. What if there is no accountability for this?

134 The Federal Government seldom deletes or destroys any data these days. There are backups of backups, printouts of various documents, likely copied and re-copied. They're notorious for keeping everything.

And hiding what they never want you to see.

But it's sloppy.

Think; millions of Federal employee retirement papers in a mine shaft for decades upon decades. Typed notes and testimony from the "JFK files" stashed away, then scanned and made available.

I'm not at all surprised to hear that so-called burn bags of documents were "discovered." Not burned. And I'll bet the info on them is in digital format right now, on a server, at the FBI's HQ or an off site backup site.

All the security processes in the world can't stop someone with intent to circumvent them and do whatever they want... but the inclination of FedGov as a whole is to preserve "everything."

In my 34 years as a Fed IT I can't recall but once or twice data actually being "lost forever."

Worse than jail is irrelevance. having their reputations ruined, forever. Having them be made an example - people whispering, "don't ever pull a Brennan." I want them to be disinvited from every talk show and lecture circuit. I want people who even just KNOW these guys to have a taint, as if they were best buds with Epstein and spent the night on pedo island.

That is a fate worse than jail, a fate worse than death, for these people - making them persona non grata. Because all they want, all they crave, is power and influence, to make their lasting mark. Erase all of that and you destroy the man, the idea.

You know, all these terrible stories that keep coming out to distract you from the fact that trump raped children on epistein’s island only go to show that the contents of the files are almost certainly worse than you’re imagining.

248 99 As I noted a couple of threads ago... the Durham report had a LOT of this information already in it, but classified.

That report went to the Senate... where Mitch McConnel was majority Leader (2023).

2023, DURING THE FUCKING ELECTION. That the Senate sat on this information also needs to be investigated... and those Senators need to be kicked out of the Party.

You put documents in a burn bag for a day or two. It's a necessary nod to efficiency, but it opens up new opportunities to have your data compromised. Filling a burn bag and then leaving it around for years is an inexcusable lapse in security.

258 Look for those with less time in the FBI, or those brought in towards the top (no practical federal government service) of the agency.

Could have been an order was given and then it was expected it'd be done. However, coworkers slightly below, and fleeing the agency, decided they weren't going down hard if it arose someday in testimony.

Look for Soros Fellows working within the Federal agency. There have been outstanding educational, financial and work opportunities for such individuals since about the beginning of the Clinton administration.

Which makes the first thing to do is to call Durham in for a hearing, and, under oath, ask him to testify as to whether or not he is the author of the "classified annex". If he says, "Yes, I am", then all hell will break out.

I just don’t get the continual reveals and blabbing and bloviating. That’s not how these things work.

HRC's extra governmental email server odds on was crime scene; makes you wonder how many understandings, side deals and payoffs were sitting on that hard related to the Clinton Foundation which was/is nothing more money laundering operation for all the "donations" received.

Then there is the Comey and then McCabe and their jihad to save their precious democracy with phoney FISA warrants, entrapment plots, spying on US President and the leaking all of it to cripple Trump's administration, the phoney persecutions that sent people to prison.

Then is the Pelosi impeachments that had one goal: poison the well not Trump's alone, but half the nation. We all became pariahs.

Then there is the vile J6 star chamber that carried this all to new heights. Add in all the people railroaded in to prisons for nothing more than trees pressing, at most, and at least simply exercising their freedom of speech and assembly rights.

I could go on for days...

320 I think somebody up north on the chain of command didn't want to be the "fall" person. Anybody and everybody could have been making copies. Who has access to dozens of burn bags at the FBI? It's a collection process, after all. An actual person or persons picks up those unaccountable bags and takes them ... somewhere. Occam's Razor and all that - someone in the FBI.

Sad, but true

Who is president? Who is running the FBI, CIA, DNI?

Information was being hidden by the very people who ran the coup and the only way to get it was to win the presidency and appoint people who would break through the deep state and get it. That had to happen first.

A lot is happening, obviously. Not indictments yet but we are now getting actual proof and not just theories about what happened and they are showing it to the world. That's a lot more than nothing.

394 I have seen something like this before: the 2009 University of East Anglia Climate Research Unit Climategate scandal. Don’t bother reading the Wikipedia article on it: that’s a complete cover-up! What it was is somebody inside the East Anglia CRU copied the email files on the server at the East Anglia Climate Research Unit and posted them online. I downloaded a copy from a Russian server using my university account. It had all the gory details about how they had to “Hide the Decline!” Because if they had just used what the data showed, there wouldn’t be any dramatic heat rise in the late 20th century: no, they had to fiddle with the data or else it would show a decline not a rise! This just goes to show how shoddy the work was to begin with. Anyway, the format of the email dump was such that it was an inside job: someone who had access to the server had a guilty conscience and took the whole compacted email file system and put it online. It was disappeared from Western servers very quickly, and nowadays all you hear is that it was “debunked”. It wasn’t: they’re just lying. Burn bags unburned made me think someone inside the FBI has a guilty conscience.

It holds the Intel paper bags that are marked and sealed, verified by at least two credentialed individuals, who are later burned in segregated incinerators. There is distinctive striping on the bags and they are sealed in a way that reveals tampering or reopening of the bag.
Because they have to be segregated in a specific space, that's why they might have referred to it as a "secret" type room.
FYI ..

398 We've heard this bullshit before regarding Epstein. It'll turn out to be nothing.
Either start collecting scalps or GTFOOTW.

399 What I read were the bags were in a different secret room, as if someone took then from the room where they were supposed to be burned, and hid them until they could be released. They also mentioned how any whistle blowing to the inspector general was squashed, and the person retaliated against, so I'm guessing whoever hid them knew they couldn't release any of it, until all the Clinton/Obama rot was out of the FBI, so they just hoped hiding them away would work out (since they'd never be able to relieve them from the building).

I'm guessing a lot of Epstein stuff never had someone save it, hence why nothing is there to be released.

400 What don't they want us to know about this whole Left Wing Conspiracy?!

401 I'm so sick of this epstein shit. He's dead, Maxwell is in prison, girls signed ndas and got money. They're adults now.
Zero chance there was a list saying X had sex with 16 yr old Y on date. Can't release grand jury testimony. Can't prove anything unless there's matching video.

People want gossip and to "take down" rich guys. Fine, but it's HARDLY comparable to hillary-obama-soros gate.

402 Correct Rbastid

They don't mean a room no one knew about, secret. They mean a room in a skif, secret as in secure, locked, no windows, no electronics.
