55 CBD,
Congratulations! You found what is probably the only Edvard Munch painting I like. Not depressing, no zombie faces, no horror or nihilistic despair. Just a young woman facing another day. The style is realistic or at least natural, the colors are not garish but soft. It may not be vibrant like Larsson or even Norman Rockwell but it is quiet and doesn't disturb the viewer. Too many of Munch's paintings look like bad illustrations in a 1930s pulp magazine.

I came across other pics of this painting and they are skewed to being much whiter and bluer. Just on white balance alone this strikes as more accurate. But that is nothing more than a WAG.

CEOs at Verizon, Wells Fargo and Union Pacific are bragging about layoffs at their respective companies.

It's saying out loud what we've known for a long time. Companies see their employees at the root as a cost that should be eliminated. By accepting a paycheck, they're stealing from shareholders.

No doubt, CEOs look forward to the day when their workforce consists of themselves, their HR mistresses and AI.

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard released documents and a memo July 18 detailing what she called a “years-long coup” against President Donald Trump after he defeated former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential race. Strzok had been a key player in the unfounded allegations that Trump’s 2016 campaign colluded with Russia, including intervening to prevent the FBI from closing a probe into retired Army Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, who was Trump’s first national security advisor in his first term.

Morning - Edvard Munch
Blaafarveværket - Cobalt Works, YouTube, Apr 19, 2013

In part, "Munch experienced the effect of colours: the morning-light on the cobalt-blue wall together with the whiteness of the bedding. The model was the 16-year-old Thora Emilie Dahlen from Haug Fossen. The artist could not leave Modum until he had finished this work. In a letter to his aunt, he expressed his hope to have this painting exhibited -- it became famous: "Morning," 1884."
