The Department of Justice under former [so-called quote-unquote] President Joe Biden actively sought a “federal hook” to justify sending federal law enforcement after parents it labeled “domestic terrorists” because they were concerned about their children’s education. Documents obtained by America First Legal (AFL) show that prior to the infamous Oct. 4, 2021, “domestic terrorist” memo from former Attorney General Merrick Garland, staff were looking for any possible way to go after parents concerned with coronavirus mandates, critical race theory, and “transgender” policies. “We’re aware; the challenge here is finding a federal hook. But WH has been in touch about whether we can assist in some form or fashion,” Kevin Chambers, then an associate deputy attorney general, wrote in an Oct. 1 email, trying to manufacture a way to respond to a teed-up letter sent by the National School Boards Association (NSBA). Career staff at the time were even concerned, saying there was no authority or legal basis for going after parents speaking out at school board meetings, particularly since they were protected by the First Amendment.
And so, for me the entire l'affaire Epstein is bullshit in light of the fact that, what we all knew for years is at long last being revealed to a wider and wider audience. That is, all of the above and of course what was done to candidate and then ultimately President Donald Trump.

When Trump ran in 2020, Brennan, as a private citizen, continued his despicable tactics. He was prominent among the 51 former intelligence agents who proclaimed that Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop was a product of Russian disinformation. Brennan knew this assertion was false from the get-go and that the fake stream media would run with it for months.I've asked this before and I still don't understand it. How does someone get a job at the CIA in 1980 who four years earlier voted for the CPUSA presidential ticket of Gus Hall and Angela Davis. I take it back, I totally get it. It means the anti-American rot that permeated much and still permeates quite a bit of our governmental bureaucracy including areas we long thought, or prayed, immune to it, that is our law enforcement and intelligence agencies tasked with preserving our liberties and physical security and safety, must have been corrupt going back well before John Brennan slithered into Langley for a job interview. And so, our current Director of National Intelligence, DNI Tulsi Gabbard had this to say . .

Deluded over many decades, he cares nothing about American voters, the will of the people, or democratic processes. Treason is a hell of a word to toss out there. She surely understands the ramifications of Treason, that is what the appropriate/potential punishment is for those who are convicted of it. Again for me Epstein is bullshit. Obama, Biden, Hillary should swing alongside, Brennan, Comey, Clapper and all of their underlings/henchman who engineered the plot against Trump and all of the crimes against the citizenry of the United States of America. Be nice if she developed a case against all of the above and Malig-Nancy Pelosi for engineering the fake J-6 Reichstag Fire/Weenie Roast. Then again, it's probably not a stretch to connect the dots between Epstein and the aforementioned vis a vis the plots against Trump.

It's going to take at least 100 years of Trumps and Trumpian presidents to get to the bottom of it all and begin the process of restoring not just the Republic but the public's trust in it. There were no computers doing the scheduling and issuing tickets back in the 50s & 60s yet they still managed to get it done.
They even managed to do it through the 80s & 90s, when computers were everywhere, without IT problems shutting down the entire airline.

I'm only keeping one guy from the team because I don't have any domestic resource to replace him.
The problem with telling people who are between jobs to "Learn To Code" is that they are often between jobs for a reason, and I don't want to be their life coach.

The wife and I watched the entire MIB films in a row yesterday. We were both entertained and impressed on their quality. I was surprised that there was no fall off in quality of script, acting, and story telling. This is very rare with sequel movies. Two thumbs up.

I agree that it will take a long time to fully right all the wrongs caused by years of allowing the permanent DC government to grow and mutate with almost zero oversight. She always looks so smug. It takes a lot to annoy me. And even if someone annoys me, I tend to laugh it off or find the positive parts that make the annoying parts okay to live with, at least enough to go have lunch. But she just really annoys me and I don’t think I could go to lunch with her.

You have to understand trigger language. The statement "broken immigration system" doesn't point to, nor does it intend to point to any particular, or suite or problems.
It is supposed to trigger the recipient of this message to think that someone is bad, wrong, needs fixing, etc. And because of deliberate lack of experience is designed, not only as a slogan, but a vehicle for FUD† so now that the listener is on tilt, they need a savior, and the Democrats are there with promises to kiss the boo boo and make the "problem" go away.

You have to understand trigger language. The statement "broken immigration system" doesn't point to, nor does it intend to point to any particular, or suite or problems.
It is supposed to trigger the recipient of this message to think that someone is bad, wrong, needs fixing, etc. And because of deliberate lack of experience is designed, not only as a slogan, but a vehicle for FUD† so now that the listener is on tilt, they need a savior, and the Democrats are there with promises to kiss the boo boo and make the "problem" go away.

I think it goes a lot deeper. Look at what Biden immediately tried to do. Look at how he used COVID to subvert the citizens liberties. Look at how he flooded the country with illegal aliens. Look at how he was deliberately subverting the rule of law and constitution. We should be questioning everything about Obama including foreign policy. The war in Afghanistan, Benghazi, Ukraine, the complete undermining of the justice system. All of it. There’s a lot to unpack here and it wasn’t just a loathing for Trump. I read some article about the cancellation and they had a quote from a roadie saying that the last summer tour they did they had to put ice packs all over Miller during the show, to the point he looked like the Michelin Man, and he still was about to heat stroke out.

There's been discussion online about the blue states' talk of gerrymandering in response to TX and OH doing it this year.
It's revealed two things:
1. The procedural hurdles for blue states to do it is shockingly high. Their commissions that they created to make things "fair" require a lot to override, up to and including CA's requirement that there be a ballot initiative to override it.
2. Those commissions...gerrymandered the fuck out of these blue states in favor of Democrats. To redraw the maps to try and make 5 new Dems in CA (a 43-9 state already) would endanger at least 10 incumbent Dems by making their margins much, much smaller.
Democrats have been gerrymandering aggressively for decades. They really don't have anywhere else to go. The GOP...hasn't. A bit here and there, but no where near the level of Democrats.
It's one explanation for why the House is so tight right now when it probably shouldn't be.

There's a massive, massive difference between state level voting and federal voting in almost every state. It's why Larry Hogan can win the governorship of MD easily and then get trounced in the Senate race.
I think Alaska has other interesting wrinkles to that where people view the Senate seat as something like a local race where the priorities are less national concerns and more about the welfare system in the state.
It's not a defense of Murkowski or Alaska's voters, just an attempt to try and figure out why it's so...weird.

..and are continuing to do it; the method : they flood R districts with their candidates (local seats, county boards, etc) , then by a very slim and suspicious margins those candidates win. then these elected ones push for unattractive and suspicious election laws that favor Ds. Then comes gerrymandering . And instead of one R district, we end up with 2 blue ones.

After no punishment over COVID or the "vaccines", no punishment over the rigged and stolen elections, after "release the kraken!", after no consequences for the Jan 6 corruption and now the Epstein "nothing to see here, stop talking about it"... I'm done believing any justice will ever happen for any corruption in the US government.

Just finished a novel, "The Historian" which features the Hagia Sophia, the Ottomans, and Mehmed II. Out of all that, it was really about finding Dracula.
