Some very serious crimes have no statute of limitations, such as murder and I believe treason. But I don't see how this is treason at least in the classic sense.
Most crimes expire in 6 years or less.

As an outside observer of the 2016 election it was obvious that a number of actors were working together to rig the election by destroying Trump's campaign and more to the point, his reputation.
During the period just before the election and before the inauguration I began suspecting that what was happening was likely a conspiracy. At this time HRC had gone on to her box wine career which should have caused the whole smear campaign to die out. But it didn't, it exploded, leaving me wondering how that was and who was pushing it, had picked up the torch.
Without repeating endless new stories and odd details from that period, by March 2017 I had concluded what occurred was a conspiracy between the Executive branch, the HRC campaign, and less tightly the Democrat party and the media. And that it was orchestrated by Obama. Of course nothing happened to those involved up to their necks - making accountable the politically connected and politically powerful is nearly impossible.
Until today.
Now comes the brutal work of making the case, getting indictments, and convictions for the seditious conspiracy and treasonous coup that nearly succeeded. This must not fail.

Oh, I'm sure there are dozens if not 100s of process crimes they could be charged with. What they did was basically a fraud, falsification, and cover-up using what were probably required sworn statements or affidavits. But what are SoL on process crimes like this?
That was my concern above: not that there weren't crimes to charge them with, but what potential crimes still had running SoL. I can't think of any off-hand.

They usually use FBI or other law enforcement agents to do the initial canvassing of witnesses, documents, etc. for the prosecutor to bring before the grand jury.
