WSJ Releases Some Kind of "Birthday Book" For Jeffrey Epstein, With A Strange Drawing and Dialogue Supposedly Written by Trump
Trump Denies, Announces He's Suing the WSJ, NewsCorp, and Rupert Murdoch

Joe Cunningham at RedState:

The Journal claims to have seen pages from a birthday album compiled by Ghislaine Maxwell in 2003—three years before Epstein was first arrested and long before any criminal allegations became public. The album allegedly contains letters from various wealthy individuals who moved in Epstein's social circles.

According to the Journal, one page contains Trump's signature on what they describe as a "bawdy" note with crude drawings. Trump categorically denies writing it.

...

Here's what the Journal doesn't tell you: They provide no evidence that this letter was authenticated. No handwriting analysis. No chain of custody documentation. No forensic verification. Just their word that they "reviewed" it among Justice Department documents.

The paper admits they don't know "how the letter with Trump's signature was prepared," yet they're comfortable plastering it across their front page anyway. If you can't verify authenticity, why publish it at all?

It didn't stop them from running with Hillary Clinton's fabricated "dossier" now did it?

BREAKING

The Wall Street Journal has reviewed a book put together for Jeffrey Epstein’s 50th birthday, as part of that book a letter was submitted by Donald Trump.

Trump's letter features a drawing of a naked woman and this text which imagines a conversation between Trump and Epstein.

Uh-huh.

thenotewsj.jpg

The letter bearing Trump's name, which was reviewed by the Journal, is bawdy--like others in the album. It contains several lines of typewritten text framed by the outline of a naked woman, which appears to be hand-drawn with a heavy marker. A pair of small arcs denotes the woman's breasts, and the future president's signature is a squiggly "Donald" below her waist, mimicking pubic hair.

The letter concludes: "Happy Birthday -- and may every day be another wonderful secret."

In an interview with the Journal on Tuesday evening, Trump denied writing the letter or drawing the picture. "This is not me. This is a fake thing. It's a fake Wall Street Journal story," he said.

"I never wrote a picture in my life. I don't draw pictures of women," he said. "It's not my language. It's not my words."

He told the Journal he was preparing to file a lawsuit if it published an article. "I'm gonna sue The Wall Street Journal just like I sued everyone else," he said.

So if Jeffrey Epstein has a piece of art allegedly from a bigwig, that bigwig necessarily participated in it?

So Bill Clinton posed in drag for this painting on Epstein's Pedo Island, huh?

Trump posted this on Truth Social:

The Wall Street Journal, and Rupert Murdoch, personally, were warned directly by President Donald J. Trump that the supposed letter they printed by President Trump to Epstein was a FAKE and, if they print it, they will be sued. Mr. Murdoch stated that he would take care of it but, obviously, did not have the power to do so. The Editor of The Wall Street Journal, Emma Tucker, was told directly by Karoline Leavitt, and by President Trump, that the letter was a FAKE, but Emma Tucker didn't want to hear that. Instead, they are going with a false, malicious, and defamatory story anyway.

President Trump will be suing The Wall Street Journal, NewsCorp, and Mr. Murdoch, shortly. The Press has to learn to be truthful, and not rely on sources that probably don't even exist. President Trump has already beaten George Stephanopoulos/ABC, 60 Minutes/CBS, and others, and looks forward to suing and holding accountable the once great Wall Street Journal. It has truly turned out to be a 'Disgusting and Filthy Rag' and, writing defamatory lies like this, shows their desperation to remain relevant.

If there were any truth at all on the Epstein Hoax, as it pertains to President Trump, this information would have been revealed by Comey, Brennan, Crooked Hillary, and other Radical Left Lunatics years ago. It certainly would not have sat in a file waiting for 'TRUMP' to have won three Elections. This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS!

People point out that this seems to be before Jeffrey Epstein was arrested, but that is hardly conclusive. No one can deny they knew of Epstein's reputation after his arrest. (So why did Matt Lauer and Katie Couric visit him post-arrest?)

But people also knew he was into shady stuff before the arrest. Trump can deny that he knew about Epstein, but it's not like no one knew until the arrest.

It is now impossible for Trump to contain this just by Jedi Mind Tricking MAGA that "these aren't the files you're looking for."

The media sharks have brushed against Trump and drawn a trickle of blood; they are about to go into a frenzy. It is impossible to stop them, so they only good response is just to release it all and let God separate the wicked from the innocent.

I am now a bit more suspicious that James Comey's wretched daughter, who prosecuted Epstein and then Ghislaine Maxwell, might have leaked this to a friendly media source to get a special counsel appointed. Like father, like daughter.

A contrary view:

11 One of the most interesting aspects of this CF is that Murdoch apparently couldn't stop them from running the "story". I'd have assumed he was too smart to let them run it, so I guess that means he's either lying about trying to stop it, or his power has slipped away, and the frothing loons now do what they want.

12 I haven't read the WSJ story and don't plan to do so, if the jist of the story is that Trump sent a "bawdy" letter to Epstein along with dozens of others for Epstein's 50th BDay, this happened 16 years ago and has gone unremarked up until now.

Obviously a hit job.

But having said that, the administration needs to clean up the mess they've made of the Epstein Saga.

26 So, as someone posted this morning.

1. If it's true, it's still a total nothing burger
2. If it's false, we should raze WSJ to the ground for running it

As for me, reading that text - Trump never wrote that. It's not the way he tells stories. The tell isn't actually the Trump text - it's "Trump's version of the Epstein response" text...he wouldn't have the guy as his equal denying him stuff - Epstein would have been asking Donald for his wisdom. Again, Trump thinks highly of himself and would have seen himself passing on this great wisdom...

Plus, drawing a naked woman is juvenile...again, beneath Trump, who would have wine, dined, and slept with the women, not drawn them like on Titanic...

TRUMP’S ALLEGED EPSTEIN BDAY LETTER: The Wall Street Journal reporter who broke the “blockbuster” story alleging a letter Trump wrote to Epstein for his 50th birthday included some tawdry elements previously worked for Main Justice (his only prior reporting experience listed in his bio).

Main Justice was Glenn Simpson’s wife’s publication. Simpson founded Fusion GPS, which was paid by Hillary Clinton/the DNC (through Perkins Coie) to produce the Steele Dossier at the center of the Russian hoax against Trump.

Both Glenn Simpson and his wife, Mary Jacoby, worked for the Wall Street Journal before launching their own enterprises.

Trump is now suing the Wall Street Journal over the “blockbuster” letter story, arguing that it’s bogus and they never showed him it so he could comment.

172 Now I know why Trump threw gas on the Epstein fire the other day. It didn't make sense because he wouldn't do that by accident.

It needed a new narrative. Because what the Left was planning was using the existing narrative of secrecy and innuendo and power (their own, ironically) and turning it all against Trump.

So what Trump does is he reframes things. Gives them a different energy, a new life, a different coat of paint, and then he controls it. There is no one like him.

And I am already tired of that CEO and his HR sidepiece. Like most "news," give it 48hrs.

I do like that Coldplay said they will have a special side without cameras for people with side pieces, which I thought was good.

The cost of this concert for this jackass CEO, as well as the ripple effect to families is going to be deep and wide. Sort of like his HR gf's career as it swirls the toilet.

I think, per an article in 2019, Trump noted he threw Epstein out of Mar-A-Lago a decade or so prior. I think that would mean sometime around 2004-2009. There's hopefully some evidence on when the actual date was.

On the side, the Epstein shit is getting REALLY suspicious. Even Jessica Tarlov on The Five was bringing it up; despite her trying to appear smart, she's a Version 1.0 NPC - parroting statements picked up from left-wing sites, but not really bridging them to new thoughts. So, the word has gone out on Journo-list 2.0, and they're pushing this. And it's not to help MAGA.

Just like they pushed the wedge between Trump and Musk.

If they have it in for you, they will stop at nothing to destroy you. They go after the Whistleblowers; they punish the Innocent, and Promote the guilty. The Exact Same Playbook.

They did everything possible to discredit Senator McCarthy, and anyone who supported or concurred with his data. Generals who wouldn’t play ball with the Pentagon had their careers destroyed.

The Truman White House secured the relevant security and loyalty files from the State Department, and wouldn’t let Congress view them.

Eisenhower was also pretty shifty, and played into the Press “hit jobs” by accepting the bogus premise and complete mischaracterizations constructed by the media. Fake News has been around a long, long time. It is absolutely disgusting.

Nobody should care about this, but Trump's ego is so damn huge that he has to go absolutely ballistic anytime there's any kind of negative press. Trump is literally the only MAGA person who cares.

Given that the Epstein files consist of everything that the place seized when they arrested him, Trump's name probably shows up in a few places. But if there was anything damaging to Trump that would have been leaked already.

Trump and his team promised to release the Epstein files. They got to office, said they were releasing them. Kept #2moreweeks'ing us.

Then they come out and say "what files? There's nothing! There's no list, no videos. Why are we talking about Epstein?"

Now for any sane person, that leaves three options:
1) everything we know about Epstein is bullshit and Trump and Co are telling the truth, even though none of them have explained that and it very much stretches credulity.
2) Trump is on Epstein's list
or
3) The Deep State got Trump to lie to the American people about this subject.

In none of those three scenarios does MAGA or Trump look good, and in 2 out of the 3, he looks like an absolute cuck / liar. In one of the three, he just looks like an idiot and an asshole.

Why would he paint himself in to this corner?

234 #BREAKING SCOOP re:

---------
It's a topic that some on the right get overly agitated about. Sex crimes and human trafficking are bad, yes, but some people can't let it go no matter the circumstances. They're fixated on it.

All. the. fucking. time.

And the left knows this. Whether the right and the left were aware they they were feeding the same animal is debatable, but some people, ostensibly "on our side" just got so blinded by it all they didn't realize the left was driving the whole thing.
Posted by: Martini Farmer at July 18, 2025 12:48 PM (Q4IgG)

I find this take hard to understand.

Now, I think the right overstates the dangers of trafficking. But that's just a dispute about frequency or prevalence or some such. A debate about numbers.

But I can't fault anyone for being "fixated" on the topic any more than I can fault some pro-life folks for being "fixated" on abortion, even if it's not a "fixation" I share (in degree anyway). Child welfare is basic civilizational stuff in the West. What are they to be "fixated" on instead?

275 The Ashley Biden diary story is actually interesting.

Ashley has addiction issues and hasn't been able to live a stable life, moving in and out of rehab all of her adult years (as you would expect for a woman molested by her father).

She was living with a wealthy guy, who wasn't any kind of long term romantic partner, and when she moved out she left a bunch of her stuff there.

Aimee Harris then lived with the same man and found Ashley's things. She read the diary, released what it meant, and took it to the press.

O'Keefe's people were interested but didn't want to run something they couldn't verify - contrast this with CBS and the Rathergate documents.

When Biden found out that PV had his daughter's diary he sent the FBI to harass them and seize it as stolen property. Well...if it was a hoax by Aimee it isn't stolen property is it? They wanted to prosecute PV/O'Keefe but they hadn't done anything illegal. But they did then prosecute Aimee for theft...

So did Acosta lie? If so, he should lose his security clearance.

Did someone above Acosta lie to Acosta? I don't know, who could that order have come from other than someone very high at DOJ? Why would THEY lie about this?

And if Epstein was working for intel, and that's why he got such an unheard of plea deal, then obviously the intel agencies felt like they needed to blackmail people with teenaged girl honeypots, right?

It’s the founders of Google, two middle class kids from Stanford who had a good idea. It’s the nerd in HS who was good with numbers, went to Garvard and started a he doe fund. I just don’t see the connection between making a ton of money and that turns you into a pedophile. Because if that’s the case, what you’re saying is if you were to be handed $1B you’d start fucking kids too. Would you?

342 And for the record, Epstein was indicted for Sex Trafficking of minors for the intent to engage in commercial sex acts and conspiracy to do the same with unnamed parties.

The indictment claims that Epstein maintained a network of employees to facilitate the abuse.

Ghislane was indicted on the same charges but the scope of the trial was constrained to just her and Epstein's actions.

Apparently the network of employees consisted of Ghislane and the unnamed parties wanting to engage in sex acts was actually a party of one: Epstein himself.

348 Now that's I've thought about this thing for several hours:

Even if you accept that the card/letter is legit I just can't see Trump writing out dialogue like that.

Does it sound like something Trump would say?
Dreaming up some weird fake conversation about enigmas & secrets like it's a piece of evidence in a mystery novel?

I just don't see Trump coming up with anything like this.

Drawing an outline of a nude woman?
Possibly, if he likes to doodle, but I've never even seen Trump do something like that.

He only signs his autograph and signs papers as far as I can tell.

You can tell Trump is proud of his signature just by looking at it. A handwriting expert's dream of a signature.

Would Trump use his signature in place of pubic hair on a drawing? Again, I don't think he'd ever do that.

WSJ said this book was put together by Ghislaine Maxwell.
So it could only be her as the source and somebody in her orbit who went to retrieve it from her storage space, wherever that is. Unless somebody, somewhere, at some time stole/bought it out of Epstein's personal effects.

Trump is suing over it.
So he isn't afraid of discovery, which means something.

359 This wasn't "the BIG Story". It was designed to keep the waters churning and build controversy. Halperin and others were convinced the WSJ really has more meat than this silly stuff.

The BIG story will be published next week. And Democrats will walk around telling each other the walls are closing in, until late in the week when it becomes obvious they were holding an Acme Corp anchor and they're falling from a cliff.

At least that's my guess.

361 When I look at this kind of news, I try to find an explanation that fits. This makes no sense, but I think #340 does.

- They did not release earlier because it was obviously not Trump's writing.
- They leaked now without image because the media is scum
- The WSJ feels confident that they did not lie or slander because the document exists, and they will clarify before damages accrue
- The goal is to get Trump slimed as Epstein connected and get a Special Prosecutor.

"Why did you not pursue this case, Secretary Acosta?"

"Why did you believe that?"
"Because my boss told me that."

Now, maybe you're right and a judge would say that was inadmissible hearsay. I don't think you're right, but I'm not an expert on the federal rules of evidence.

But is that what we're hanging out hats on? "If this went to trial, an AG's testimony about what he audibly witnessed might not be admissible in court."

379 SJ said this book was put together by Ghislaine Maxwell.
So it could only be her as the source and somebody in her orbit who went to retrieve it from her storage space, wherever that is. Unless somebody, somewhere, at some time stole/bought it out of Epstein's personal effects.
==
The FBI has it. They got it during the investigation. Maxwell out it together. Maurene Comey probably leaked it. Probably at request of Daddy. In retaliation for the apparent investigation into comey and Brennan. Dots are connected.

380 People who think Biden's DOJ/FBI kept evidence laying around that Trump could use to prosecute them are either insane or retarded. The DOJ/FBI files are obviously now corrupted. Releasing the "Epstein files" was a trap. But now that the idiotic Dems have joined the chorus, Trump is having Bondi unseal the evidence submitted that was used to indict Epstein. That evidence was held in court under seal and, presumably, has not been corrupted. Releasing actual evidence will result in convictions. PS - it was Comey's daughter who moved to seal the evidence.

No, it's not hearsay at all. What's being sought to be proved and against whom? That the government conspired to give Epstein a walk for IC reasons, right? So the statement made by the unidentified government actor is a statement made by a party opponent. That's categorically not hearsay. It's also admission against interest under these circumstances.

I don't even think he was out of his lane much. Ok, he feels super strongly about the fiscal problems. He is finding out just how hard it is to go after it with the current batch of congressmen through political means.

So put your influence towards taking out Democratic congressmen and turncoat Republicans. Hire poll watchers in key districts to reduce fraud. Form a faction that wants deficit reduction.
