Treachery Afoot: "Republican" Congresswoman Maria Salazar and Ten Other "Republican" RINOs Are Pushing a New Amnesty Package That Would Even Make John McCain Blush In His Rotting Coffin

Will Chamberlain has read the whole bill and says it's much worse than it seems at first glance.

Summing up: Effectively, it's amnesty for all illegal aliens present in the US, except for a small number of convicted criminals.

The basic way to understand Maria Salazar's amnesty bill is this:

If you came in to the country before Biden was inaugurated, you get to stay.

If you were under 18 when you came into the country, for whatever reason - you get a 4-year path to citizenship.

If you were over 18, you get what is effectively permanent residency with no path to citizenship, and you don't have to pay payroll taxes.

Not joking. The only deportable aliens will be criminal aliens and aliens that came in under Biden. Everyone else gets to stay.

You were told that Dreamer status was for those unfortunate people brought to the United States as young children.

Not so. If you came on your own volition as a 17-year-old, you're a Dreamer under her bill.

🚨WARNING -- There are a handful of Republicans in Congress pushing the so-called "Dignity Act of 2025" which would shield illegals from deportation if they've been in the US since before 2021.

Here's the trick: We do NOT know when many, or perhaps most, illegals entered the US. All they'd have to do is say the magic words and they'd be allowed to stay. At best their case would be bogged down in court for years. This is a ruse. Do not fall for it. This will grind President Trump's mass deportations to a halt.

This is worse than "soft amnesty." This de facto ends the mass deportations Americans just voted for.

Salazar claims she would not grant amnesty to MS-13 or Tren de Aragua gang members.

But that's a lie. While the bill does say that members of foreign criminal or terrorist gangs aren't eligible for amnesty, it then goes on to specifically forbid the government from searching its databases to discover if the applicant is a member of a foreign criminal gang or not:

I want to focus on one particularly brazen provision in Maria Salazar's amnesty bill. She made a huge point of saying "gang members won't be admissible!" And, indeed, there is a provision that says if you "voluntarily participated in offenses committed by a criminal street gang" you will be ineligible for either the Dreamer path to citizenship or the adult path to permanent residency.

But in THE VERY NEXT PROVISION, the legislation bars DHS from using state and federal databases to prove that someone is a gang member. Apparently, they have to actually get convicted of a criminal gang offense - WHICH WOULD ALREADY MAKE THEM INADMISSIBLE BECAUSE FELONIES AND VIOLENT MISDEMEANORS DO SO ON THEIR OWN.

Well, apparently, @RepMariaSalazar doesn't agree with them, since her amnesty bill allows DHS to waive the provision of law that makes an alien inadmissible to the US if they have unlawfully voted. Donors want labor that is far cheaper than the wages Americans expect.

The only reason we didn't have much inflation for the first two decades of this century is because US plants closed down, and production moved to places with dirt cheap labor. It also explains why nothing produced in the past twenty years lasts more than a few years.

yeah, Trump offered some idea of Touch Back immigration (not sure what it was called) where people here illegally had to go back "home" and apply to come legally.

My guess is just wiping out all illegals at once could have big implications to food supply and/or the building trades. Maybe "cold turkey" is the best route, or maybe some slower method is possible. idk

In the end there are hard working illegals, but we have to run them through a process of "Americanizing" them, and kicking out the cartels and those that ignore our laws (even just the driving with no license/insurance "normals").

In the end, we may keep a lot of them, but not most of them, and none of the cartel types, including those used as "slaves".
