JusttheNews: FBI Now Investigating the Deep State and Democrat Party's Weaponization of Government and Attempted Coup Against Trump
They don't call it a "coup." I'm saying that. It obviously was an attempted coup by bureaucrats against the duly elected president.
John Solomon says MAGA will be pleased by this.
The FBI has quietly launched an investigation into a decade of Democratic party and deep-state antics from Russia collusion to Jack Smith, opening the door for the appointment of a special prosecutor to examine whether the well-documented episodes amount to a criminal conspiracy to meddle in three U.S. elections to the benefit of Democrats and the detriment of President Donald Trump, Just the News has learned. The "grand conspiracy" case was opened several weeks ago after new FBI Director Kash Patel took over, and it could get a significant boost if Trump were to declassify two secret tranches of evidence that identify a potential ignition point to the alleged conspiracy in the summer of 2016, according to several people directly familiar with the inquiry, who spoke to Just the News on a condition of anonymity. The first piece of evidence is a classified annex to a years-old inspector general probe of Hillary Clinton's improper email server sought by Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley. That annex is believed to show that credible information about possible wrongdoing was intentionally ignored by the FBI. The second tranche of evidence was identified by former Russiagate Special Counsel John Durham in his final report. The evidence was dubbed in the report as the "Clinton plan intelligence," and it was also placed in a classified annex kept from the American public and even many members of Congress.
"I think next week, over the next 10 days... the base, who's been wondering, 'Where is all that accountability?'--they're gonna get some big surprises," Solomon said. He claimed the case reaches back to the summer of 2016, before Crossfire Hurricane was launched, and extends all the way through to 2024, encompassing "a large series of events" aimed at stopping Trump from winning the presidency. Solomon said the massive case has been built largely out of the public eye, obscured by media theatrics and political infighting. "It's been masked by a lot of this infighting and drama and soap opera stuff," he said. "But the truth of the matter is, MAGA base Americans are gonna be happy when they see where this is all heading." ... Bannon pressed Solomon to clarify whether this was, in fact, a formal investigation by federal authorities. Solomon didn't hesitate. "There is a conspiracy case that was opened that looks at this window as a very large window," he confirmed. "I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a special prosecutor named by Pam Bondi in the next week or two."
This might have been leaked by Patel or Bongino (or people close to them) to let MAGA know they're still doing the jobs they were appointed to do, and reduce any anger about the Epstein matter. Everyone's reporting they're both very angry about Bondi hanging them out to dry over that. But that wouldn't make the leak false, it would just explain why they sought fit to give the leak to a reporter. I could see people sniffing "promises, promises," though.

This isn't plausible deniability to Russia, this is Trump trying to argue we're not really selling weapons to Ukraine, we're selling them to Germany who is giving them to Ukraine.
I guess that's somewhat of an improvement, but I would really prefer we stop being involved in not only the Ukrainian war, but every other fucking war around the planet. We can survive as an economy without selling weapons to 3/4 of the countries on the planet, much of which we end up paying for.

The EU is buying weapons from us to give to Ukraine. The EU , i believe, in 2023 bought over $9B in liquid natural gas from Russia. They're still buying it as it's not subject to any sanctions. There are also a lot waivers in the sanctions, plus the so called black fleet moves goods from Russia out of normal channels.

Just a reminder, making threats (even trying to be clever about it) results in the banhammer. Scogg has been banned multiple times for violations of the really loose code which is why he keeps changing nics and uses a vpn to do that--basically don't threaten others, don't get involved in personal insult wars, and don't piss off Ace or the cobs.
There are some others that have been banned that you see from time to time come back to mess with people or to disrupt conversations--Blago, moo moo, BSG, Widespread Pepe, etc.
For whatever reason, AoS seems to attract previously banned individuals coming back over and over again to do shit and then leave a mess for teh cobs to clean up. Part of that is Ace doesn't require registration as some other sites do (would end sock puppetry for example). Another way would require IP probing and fingerprinting systems which ends a lot of repeat troll business. Even if they can't get any prosecutions because of statutes of limitation it will be good to have everything on the record.

No real difference in taste, nutrition,etc. which rely more on what the hens eat than brown versus white eggs.

Has died down significantly here because suddenly after all the expenses and labor, eggs in the supermarket (or some poor guy raising backyard birds) suddenly look a lot better.
Livestock care is hard work 24/7 365 days per year.

I think the situation might be a bit different with a special counsel going after specific issues versus a US Attorney that has a much broader mandate. Particularly if evidence is provided to justify the special counsel. Maybe not, but he would be a logical pick.

White leghorns are bred to lay over meat so you end up getting well over 300 plus eggs per year from a prime pullet until the first molt. Most chickens laying brown eggs don't come near that production.

We have 14 hens. Just organic feed, hemp bedding, and incidentals make the eggs pretty much a break-even proposition. They free-range, but also are getting older, so production is down. Production took a hit last week, the cause of which was discovered to be a large Texas rat snake.

Free range hens vary according to diet more but there are some other issues like medicines etc. that can affect the taste of teh eggs from that source as well.

Jack Smith was bringing charges and therefore required confirmation as a prosecutor (?); a special counsel just produces a report like Mueller or Durham, but Durham was already a confirmed prosecutor who had authority to file charges.
