Car drifts off parking lot nice 'n' easy and into traffic, right into the lane, and gently runs into the rear bumper of another driver. I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE. This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined. It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing. It's hard even for cities to find qualified police officers, what kind of thugs will apply for and get ICE jobs? Law enforcement tends to attract authoritarian personalities, and they'll have to lower standards to hire enough. Extra points for a history of assault or domestic violence. I'm expecting the whole J6 crowd, along with all their bestest buddies, including the the Militias spread he told to Stand Back, and Stand By, the Proud Boys, the Oath Keepers, etc Everything Trump touches turns to shit. In the metric year, there are 10 equal metric months, with names derived from French, emphasizing nature and harvest.
Names of the Metric Months Vendémiaire (Grape Harvest) – Corresponds to September 22 to October 21 Brumaire (Fog) – Corresponds to October 22 to November 20 Frimaire (Frost) – Corresponds to November 21 to December 20 Nivôse (Snow) – Corresponds to December 21 to January 19 Pluviôse (Rain) – Corresponds to January 20 to February 18 Ventôse (Wind) – Corresponds to February 19 to March 20 Germinal (Bud) – Corresponds to March 21 to April 19 Floréal (Flower) – Corresponds to April 20 to May 19 Prairial (Pasture) – Corresponds to May 20 to June 18 Messidor (Harvest) – Corresponds to June 19 to July 18 Metric Calendar Structure The metric calendar consists of 10 months, where each month contains 10 weeks, and each week divides into 10 days. This system totals 1,000 metric days in a year. This calendar was an attempt during the French Revolution to create a more rational system of timekeeping but has since become a historical curiosity. I think that makes ICE a more interesting proposition. When ICE agents go out to make arrests, it isn't like they have to preserve evidence, follow strict chain of custody rules, or any of that other crap. Its like bounty hunting. There is the perp, perform the arrest and deporation. Perp resists? Work him over. His "family" or running buddies complain? Arrest and deport them too. AWFLs interfere? Arrest and charge with obstruction. Even sting operations. Don't have papers? Get on the bus. Do have papers? Thanks for your coöperation, have a nice day. I got some rare time to do chores around the house the other day. Short story, I went to Home Depot to pick up 13, 50lb bags. It was about 92 degrees out. I loaded up the bags on a cart and wheeled them out to my truck. Since I was alone, I had to shoulder each bag, one at a time, and step up into the bed to load them. On my second bag, a guy comes out of nowhere and says “let me help you”. I demurred politely, but he respectfully insisted. He then handed each bag to me while I stood in the bed. I couldn’t thank him enough. He simply said he was happy to help and walked away.
