Funny true story. Dog left in car while guy goes into store. Dog jumps into driver's seat, accidentally hits parking brake release. Car drifts off parking lot nice 'n' easy and into traffic, right into the lane, and gently runs into the rear bumper of another driver. Can you imagine looking into your rear view mirror and seeing what that driver saw?

I’m going to go for a walk soon. The glassblowing artist down the way is having a sale and I love his stuff. He does some artsy fartsy floating glass bulbs, the kind the Japanese used to use on their fishing nets. It would be so cool to find one of those just on the beach after a storm!

Having just driven into and out of town last month...no.

As I said, no one is moving until after Sept 30 (when the original paychecks run out), and possibly not even then.

VA will be blue b/c all those folks will vote this election to get state jobs for next year...

It was always gonna be the side effect of major cuts and realignment of fed gov, which needed to happen...

This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.

It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

It's hard even for cities to find qualified police officers, what kind of thugs will apply for and get ICE jobs? Law enforcement tends to attract authoritarian personalities, and they'll have to lower standards to hire enough. Extra points for a history of assault or domestic violence.

I'm expecting the whole J6 crowd, along with all their bestest buddies, including the the Militias spread he told to Stand Back, and Stand By, the Proud Boys, the Oath Keepers, etc

The best book about dogs driving is "Go, Dog! Go!" by P. D. Eastman. The recurring dialogue between two dogs concerning the appearance of a hat worn by the female was a favorite part of the story.

Now, I cannot recite from memory extended portions of it as I can for "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish" by Dr. Seuss, but it was always a favorite to read with the gKids when they were younger.
