Descent AT landing is typically much less than 600 fpm with 600 fpm being the max design limit the structure is designed for without yielding, or 720 fpm without structural failure. But that's well after flair and they come down much faster than that before flair. What's important is the upset design dive speed/mach and that's a function of the design VC/MC. I'm sure the descent was well within the VD/MD and below flutter, mach buffet* margins.

It's funny how many unique styles there are. My personal taste was influenced by KC style, sweet molasses, just a bit of tang, very smokey. Hard to find here in the south. And it's hard to find good beef ribs here. But bbq is bbq and I like most all of it.

The Social Security Administration (SSA) is celebrating the passage of the One Big, Beautiful Bill, a landmark piece of legislation that delivers long-awaited tax relief to millions of older Americans.

The bill ensures that nearly 90% of Social Security beneficiaries will no longer pay federal income taxes on their benefits, providing meaningful and immediate relief to seniors who have spent a lifetime contributing to our nation's economy.

“This is a historic step forward for America’s seniors,” said Social Security Commissioner Frank Bisignano. “For nearly 90 years, Social Security has been a cornerstone of economic security for older Americans. By significantly reducing the tax burden on benefits, this legislation reaffirms President Trump’s promise to protect Social Security and helps ensure that seniors can better enjoy the retirement they’ve earned."

The new law includes a provision that eliminates federal income taxes on Social Security benefits for most beneficiaries, providing relief to individuals and couples.

Since it is a doggo thread I have to tell ya'll about our newest dog.

Daughter who lives in Boulder, yes, she is one of "them." She got a dog from a rescue and had her for a week before her neighbors started complaining about the dog barking and threatened to have her evicted.

We, of course, ended up with the little wonderful dog. She is wonderful and hubby and I have said many times we don't know why God has blessed us with this treasure.

From the first minute she came into the house it's like she's always lived here. We have a 4 y/o Shih Tzu and it's like the two of them have always been together.

She has brought so much joy into our home.
