INSURRECTION: RIOTERS BREAK INTO CAPITOL HILL TO STOP OFFICIAL GOVERNMENT BUSINESS

Which I'm told makes you an insurrectionist and subject to jail without bail until trial.

And also subject to the government slamming you with multiple duplicative charges and fabricated charges like "conspiracy to defraud the United States."

That's the rule now, right?

U.S. Capitol Police detained a group of peaceful protestors on Wednesday, including several people in wheelchairs, during a protest over proposed cuts to Medicaid spending on Capitol Hill.

Scripps News footage shows a crowd of people, some of them in wheelchairs, being zip-tied and escorted out of the Russell Senate Rotunda. The room is part of a Senate office building on Capitol Hill.

The protests are over proposed Medicaid cuts included in the "Big Beautiful Bill," which would remove coverage for some 10 million of the poorest Americans over the next decade as well as implement additional work requirements for those using Medicaid.

The media continues to push the idea that some people -- women, minorities, gays, transgenders, the disabled -- have special rights and privileges and are allowed to break the law, and that it's Racist to apply the law to them. Hence the special mention that some of the rioters are "in wheelchairs" -- so what if they are? What is being argued here? That if someone is in a wheelchair (and might just be posing in a wheelchair, btw) then they have a special right to riot?

27 Personally, I would like to see them take these people in a room by themselves and make a deal with them.

"Tell us which politician set this entire thing up. Who, specifically, coordinated it, and you're free to wheel your ass out of here."

Then, file charges against the individuals who set up the event and encouraged "handicapped" (both mentally and physically) to break the law. Such an effort would flip the optics 180 degrees. And, it would send a message to the next politician (because, let's face it, someone like AOC or Warren set this up) that there are actual repercussions once again after a long hiatus.

57 There appear to be maybe two dozen rioters in that video.

I think part of the problem is that, with some exceptions, few people show up for leftwing riots. A few dozen retarded lefty NPC mamalukes drooling on themselves at the Capitol isn't scary or threatening. It's a big meh.

But with J6, not only was their ideology wrong, but there were also thousands of people there. That made it a much bigger deal and fed into leftwing lies that it was a massive coup. If only 25 people showed up on J6, that's a much harder narrative to support.

Posted by: SpeakingOf

I do. We have a woman at work who goes around on a motorized wheelchair and she is a menace to everyone that happens to be in her vicinity as she races through the hospital. She has hit people by wheeling around very fast without looking first, she gets behind people in a hallway and honks her horn at them until they move, etc. She has been disciplined, written up, etc. but alas, her disability - morbid obesity - protects her as well as supposedly she is good at her job. Yeah, she needs to be zip-tied.

206 True story - a friend is in the hospital in Houston's Medical Center and I went to visit her. Walking down from parking I spot an empty wheelchair and figure it needs to go back to the hospital so I sit down and start making my way in it.

Get to a ramp up to the door...struggling to lean forward and get up the ramp...guy gets out of his car to help..."thanks man, I'm new to this but I'm okay"...wheel in and ask what floor she's on, what room, etc. and go about my way wondering at what point I can get up and walk without making a scene.

Patti howls with laughter when I tell her about it, how nobody looks a guy in a wheel chair and how it would make the perfect costume to be anonymous.

LIB Politico's believe gov't can do anything it pleases, while you only act with their permission, where the "Will of the People" is in Evidence Everywhere, yet existent in no one.

LIBs Politicos put themselves in the role of choosing "Who" must be sacrificed, so that THEY may continue their reign over the ruins, rather than rebuild from the Rubble.

LIBs are not JUST Mistaken, they are evil.

Their world is a world with cities ablaze with bodies littering the streets, where the dead, the Dying, the DISSENTING are carted away, assets seized, and lives destroyed to heat their own bathwater.

LIB Strategic Insanity MUST be Defeated.

bicyclists, as an organized group have to be the most hateable bunch anywhere.

The area around Schloss Hadrian has long, flat rural roads that are popular with weekend bicyclists. Even in large groups, they've never been a problem to me.

It's when you get to cities that the hatefulness grows. Know what you never see in a bike lane? Bikes. They take away from main lanes to put them in, you're banging door panels with the guy in the next lane and bikes ride on the sidewalk anyway.

301 Just had a thought/question. Would it be possible for a state to require term limits as a condition to be an elected office holder for a federal level office (from that state)? You know, like a rep or senator?
---
No.
But nothing stops them from re-defining residency to require a minimum number of days per year spent at their listed address, not merely in-state, at that address.

Say, 140 days. So all the "good, solid conservatives" that go native and never are in state except to campaign, would howl.

I think, there also might not be anything restricting a state from just declaring a Senator no longer a resident. Haven't worked out yet if it would still be a bill of attainder

Brussel Sprouts are a side dish, just like potatoes, or corn, they are not a main item.

Very few people just eat a baked potato with nothing on it.

Or mashed potatoes.

There are whole books devoted to gussying up potatoes so that they are basically unrecognizable as potatoes.

And yes, you can simply roast brussel sprouts with a little salt and butter and they are good to go.

352 >>> 324 I do.

I'd be researching stealthy, sneaky ways to sabotage her. Find a way to run down the batteries on her chair, for one.

Orson, my man, the person who set this up signed these people tint through security. Got them their security pass. Made sure they would get searched for their stupid banners. It's not a secret to anyone, other than us, who set this up. Everyone at the capitol knows or can easily find out.

393 The U.S. Capitol Police are requesting the installation of a statute commemorating the events of January 6, 2021. This request is part of a civil lawsuit filed by officers seeking a court order to have the plaque installed. The lawsuit argues that the failure to install the plaque violates the Equal Protection clause of the Constitution and that the Architect of the Capitol has failed to fulfill a duty mandated by a 2022 law.
