2. Posters in the London Underground showing black women and the tag line "we built this city." Huh?
The Left has convinced the stupidest among them that there is some alternate history that has been suppressed, and that blacks really did build everything and whitey stole it. It is hard to believe, but like the people on the Gaza thread -- the Left is so deep into the bubble they are irredeemable. I fear what would be required to educate these people.

I'm still working out the logistics on the 3,000 black slave holders who owned over 15,000 black slaves in the US.
As soon as I wrap that up I'll be working on the reparations owed to a good chunk of the world by the Italians. I'm keeping the Swedes on the back burner and might even take a stab at the present day slavery taking place in The Sudan.
Then there is this middle manager I had from my first employment who used to make me clean the coffee pots in the break room. It wasn't in my job description, so I'm considering a reparations matter.

Bluesky is a very barebones operation, so they don't need much money to operate. (it's also why they've already hit their growth limit) A quick check shows the company only has 25 full time employees, and about 100 contract workers. Contrast to X which was 2800 employees, and had 7500 before Elon got control of it.

Last year on June 19th an angry black woman tried to back into me in the parking lot of great wolf lodge where I was waiting for our vehicle (it was hot, and I was tired so I waited). Um, no. A rod isn't a shaped charge. For comparison, the majority of asteroid impacts have circular crater shapes no matter the angle of impact until you get below ... I can't recall ... but it's much lower than you'd expect to start getting an oval-ish crater.

It probably matters that a nuke would spread that energy spherically, so you'd need to know the distance from the center of the blast to know how much energy was being applied to an area the size of the cross section of the rod, in order to compare the two.

Um, no. A rod isn't a shaped charge. For comparison, the majority of asteroid impacts have circular crater shapes no matter the angle of impact until you get below ... I can't recall ... but it's much lower than you'd expect to start getting an oval-ish crater.
As for mass, unless one of us has some inside knowledge, we can't be exact but we can come up with decent guesses. And the wiki page rickb223 linked waaay upthread had this estimate:
"20-foot-long (6.1 m), 1-foot-diameter (0.30 m) tungsten rods that are satellite-controlled and have global strike capability, with impact speeds of Mach 10"

Mass vaccinations were discussed, (cough) as was a long discussion on the possibility of a dirty bomb being set off in a city. One of the presenters was former CIA, I think. Uranium is a horrible choice for a dirty bomb. 99.3% of it is U238, with a half-life of 4 billion years. The other natural isotopes are 10K-100M years.

The fact that he is loyal to his mother and family and shows them love is a great tribute to his character. I can tell he and his wife are in love, too, since college.
He's a great guy and I loved, too (I am using the word, "love" a lot!) when he raked Tampon Tim over the coals in the debate. I can't remember what it was over, but Tim's ugly face turned a puce color and I laughed.

The more I have thought about it the more I come to believe the slave owners were the genesis of 75% of the problems in the USA.

There is a story in "The Scramble For Africa" of some Zanzibar Slave Trader who upon hearing one of his canoe boats full of female slaves had sunk or whatever and the slaves all died remarked..."Is the boat ok?"
Zanzibar was big time slave empire.

I think that distinction is a wishcast from the future rather than real in the period. The Constitution speaks of "the United States", Virginians and New England state residents had no issue becoming Ohioans or Kentuckians once new states were made.
The Articles of Confederation had failed so spectacularly that people had little opposition to the new government that hadn't actually been asked for popped out of the convention. The fact that European nations could chop out an individual state was a known danger for a long time in the early days of the country.
