Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | Elon Musk Goes Nuclear on Trump, Claiming He's "In the Epstein Files"Well, that escalated quickly. It really took a jump. Trump foolishly suggested cutting "government subsidies" to Elon Musk to save money. Those aren't subsidies, those are contracts for Musk's companies' services. And then Musk went absolutely nuclear. This got bad, fast.

There is a point there.
As much as like Elon for his intelligence and ability to put out products and especially what he's done with SpaceX and X - the man has been living off of government subsides for a long time. Tesla would not be here today were it not for the EV subsisides put in place way back under Obama. SpaceX wouldn't be here, either, were it not for NASA. Not that Elon didn't have to work at it, but facts are facts. You'd think that alone would've caused him to hold his tongue, but no, he went all in over some pretty shit on a spending bill that he has no say in other than advice & DOGE recommendations. Trump was on the Epstein flight manifest seven times, but the flights were all CONUS and never to Pedo Island. Epstein was at Mar A Lago until Trump booted him for creeping on another member's kid. Trump outbid Epstein on a Florida property. So yes, Trump is in the Epstein files but not for pedo stuff. Elon probably just screwed himself with that. I don't think Trump regularly flew to pedophile island to diddle little girls, but he probably had enough association with Epstein that dishonest assholes could insinuate he did something inappropriate and convice people of the fact.
Here's what we know from the past info. 1) Trump used to have Epstein around in his events, because he was a big name and connected 2) Trump borrowed his jet a few times to go places, but he didn't fly on Epstein's plane to any of the pedo spots. Basically it was "I need a plane to NY, can I borrow yours?" kind of thing. That's pretty much the connections. I'd say maybe there's more, but there are two problems with that theory: first, if there was more we'd have heard about it by now; second, the stuff we've seen so far totally excludes Trump from anything hinky or troubling. There's a bit more. When Trump found out he was hitting on underage girls at his club he had him thrown out. And then when Epstein's case went to court in Florida years ago, Trump was the only person who came forward and offered to testify against Epstein according to the lawyer for the girls suing Epstein. It's old news that Trump got a ride or two from FL to NYC on Epstein's plane while his was having the oil changed or whatever. There has never been any documentation that he flew to Pedo Island or anywhere else. They tried to throw Trump in prison for life, raided his home, impeached him twice, bankrupt and then put a bullet in his head but somehow never released the evidence they had that would've ended Trump's political life. Followed by a brief regret-filled hangover phase, then back t the highs again. Musk is unusual in that his "Highs" last fir 80%-90% of the time, which is why he's so successful, but the shorted "Down" phase is extra extreme to make up for its brevity. It also makes sense that Epstein would be making a strong effort to ingratiate himself with Trump and Mar a Largo (for connections to other people.) And get basically told, thanks, but no thanks. We can't do this. Bye. But throwing a hissy fit? Yea... no. Believe Musk publicly OK'd end of EV subsidies several times. Makes sense. It's a largely fake market, but there's a niche market element, and TSLA owns it. Ending subsidies of all kinds is a no-brainer for the dominant player. Equivalent to oligopolies pushing/benefitting from barriers to entry - oh, excuse me, "regulation" - being added. They were. Years ago. It's been known Trump took a few rides on Epstein's plane from FL to NYC since the 2016 election. There are also photos of Trump and Epstein and Mar A Lago before Trump had him thrown out of the club. Trump was a fixture on the club scene in NYC when he was young. He was in the tabloids weekly. It would have been nearly impossible for those two guys running in the same wealthy social circuits in NYS and Palm Beach not to have known each other. There is also evidence that Trump became an enemy when he understood what Epstein was. That does not mean he did not get involved in anything dirty, only that there is ZERO evidence to date.
Posted by: bob (moron incognitus) Donald Trump, Epstein, Ghislaine all ran in the same social circles in New York. There are plenty of photos of Ghislaine Maxwell and Ivana Trump (DJT's 1st wife) running around together. This proves nothing, as it could be possible that Trump had NO idea what Epstein was really up to. When Epstein was being prosecuted down in Florida prior to DJT becoming President, Donald contact the Prosecutors office and told them "What do you want to know?" No one else did. I think another factor about Epstein is that he was working for both the CIA and Mossad, and it is going to be impossible to scrub that out of the files. In a way this would be ironic, because Elon/DOGE also constantly conflated "waste" with "contracts" and "savings" with "contract ceiling". This it the real reason the DOGE savings numbers are so far short of what Elon promised. The real value of DOGE was rooting out at list a sliver of the corruption, by decimating USAID and some other key wins. But a lot of what they declared "savings" is just going to have to be spent on new contracts. I can't say I mind seeing him get burned up over the same thing coming back to him.

Questions are going to be asked - and must be answered. Posted by: Mike Armstrong at June 05, 2025 03:51 PM And Trump answered them, multiple times. He never went to pedo island and there are ZERO flight records of him going there. If there was a single shred of evidence or even some flimsy evidence that the left could make up it would be out there 24/7, but there isn't. I get why you won't let this go, you want Trump to be guilty of something, I get that, it's what liberals do. But there is no evidence that Trump was doing the pedo stuff and there is ample evidence that Trump tossed epstein out of his club when he found out what was going on when epstein was hitting on young girls that worked there. People are used to Trump's antics after 40 years in the public eye, but Elon is the new kid on the block. And now he's out there calling the King of Media a pedophile while waving his arms back and force calling out to X asking if anybody wants to join him in his quest to save America through fiscal discipline? Half of those people calling you a Nazi and wanted to burn your cars on the street five minutes ago, you idiot. The BBB is is one some ways the continuation of disaster but in most ways not really. Musk may not understand (I barely do) how reconciliation is not the vehicle where you make meaningful cuts in "mandatory" spending (mostly entitlements) - cuts Trump said from the outset he was not going to make. And "from the outset" I mean on the campaign trail, AND his first term, and THAT campaign.
Through what smells like pretty dodgy gymnastics - but given the circumstances fully justified - looks like they've managed to shoehorn some de facto appropriations into the bill (hoping it gets past the Senate parliamentarian). Critical ones, like ICE and border barriers. And other stuff. None of which they will get via appropriations alone. Remember kids, American voters are such failures and idiots, and the political class is so pathetic, that there is no more politics in Congress, and the only way to pass other than disastrous s**t is via reconciliation, cuz 51-50 vote in the Senate. It's that bad, and that simple. BBB is the crowning example. Doubt Musk really understands any of the foregoing basics. Posted by: rhomboid at June 05, 2025 04:00 PM (1m82a) 293

Trump is in the “Epstein files” as is every rich guy and celebrity.
What do I honestly suspect ? It ties everything together. Whats been said here a million times. Passing around underage talent has been an open secret among the ruling class for decades. Folks - passing around underage talent was just a thing back in the 60s and 70s. The old geezers talk openly of it now. If you were a musician, or rich, or politically connected ? It was just another perk. So did Trump know what Epstein was all about ? I'll bet yes. Did Trump partake ? I'll bet no. But that line didn't get drawn hard for another decade or two. When times and morals changed. And I'll bet nobody in the political class wants that can of worms opened now. Not even to smoke an enemy. Not even if they're not personally guilty. "In the files" could just as easily mean Trump and Epstein met for Cronuts and Coffee at "Cronuts R Us" in Manhattan." or Trump talked to Epstein briefly at a cocktail party". If Musk had clear evidence, he would've made his accusation clearly. If I had to guess, it's a nothing because the Democrats had control of those files for the last 16 years at least and they hate Trump yet nothing came out. This feud is even faker that the one that supposedly existed between Trump and DeSantis.
Trump has basically told us what this is about, threatening Musk's govt contracts. Obviously, that's what this is about. Musk's team is probably mostly composed of people with TDS on steroids. That's probably why the Starship launches have not done as well as expected. There might even be outright sabotage going on. This undoubtedly goes well beyond space exploration. Musk is practically the father of the Space Force - there's undoubtedly all kinds of Top Secret Space Force contracts going on that are super important. Apparently they decided that they need space between Elon and Trump for those contracts to succeed. Posted by: MrExcitement at June 05, 2025 06:34 PM (hOOi9) 439
428 You guys should watch pro wrestling. You won’t believe what they get away with! Why, one time, the manager, the manager!, of one one of the wrestlers got in the ring with a folding chair, a folding chair!, and began to whack his wrestler’s opponent from behind! From behind!!

Eh, Musk's statement is very carefully worded. He said "...Trump is in the Epstein Files...". That's very different than saying: "Trump was an Epstein client" or "Trump banged young girls on Epstein's island.". ... If I had to guess, it's a nothing because the Democrats had control of those files for the last 16 years at least and they hate Trump yet nothing came out. This sounds more like Musk having a spaz-attack to try to hurt Trump with innuendo. ... Posted by: naturalfake at June 05, 2025 04:19 PM (iJfKG) Let's go further. 1) OF COURSE Trump is "in the files". At one point he volunteered anti-Epstein information for a prosecution! Musk adds that the truth will come out - and that's the truth that will come out. It's all fake. 2) Musk and Trump are putting space between themselves for some purpose. I suspect it's so that Musk's contracts can proceed successfully, given how widespread TDS likely is within his SpaceX team. That would explain why the contracts are being singled out. Anyone and everyone Epstein thought he might exploit now or later was in "his files."
That's different from being on his "client list." Trump was not on his client list, just mentioned in his papers. He famously got thrown out of Mar A Lago by Trump. Posted by: Nanny G at June 05, 2025 08:46 PM (lV9qu) Processing 0.07, elapsed 0.0769 seconds. |
