H/T: FenelonSpoke Golf Star Bryson DeChambeau Gives Teen Fighting Leukemia An Unforgettable Day ![]() In a beautiful act of kindness, professional golfer Bryson DeChambeau recently gave a Tennessee teenager, Evan Hayes, a day he and his family will never forget. Evan, who lives in Celina, Tennessee, is a passionate golf fan and player currently battling an aggressive form of leukemia. After learning about Evan’s condition, DeChambeau stepped in to create an extraordinary experience for the young fan. *** Despite his packed schedule, DeChambeau made time to hang out with Evan while doing an interview and filming with popular video creator Zach King—who also surprised Evan with some merchandise. Evan explored Bryson’s gym, trophy room, and even got to chip balls with him on the backyard putting greens. It didn’t stop there. Bryson gave Evan a full outfit from his personal closet, golf balls, and lots of autographed items. He also treated the family to both lunch and dinner, and wrapped up the day with a round of golf at Grapevine Golf Course in Texas.Read the whole thing. I like the picture of the Glendalough church (I'm not sure it's a cathedral, which is the seat of a bishop). However, the picture's a little misleading. In it, the church appears to have a steeple, but it doesn't. What appears to be a steeple is actually a tower that is some distance away from the church. The tower was built during the Dark Ages as a keep into which the monks would retreat when the Vikings attacked. There's a door about three stories up. The monks would climb a rope ladder, then pull it up after them and wait until the Norsemen left.

Just finished watching Rambo Last Blood . He kills about 40 cartel guys in last scene but they only brought 25 to his ranch by my count.
The movie producers were using Yemeni population math. While the Navy was bombing the hell out of Yemen's Houthi population, the Department of State was shoveling over five billion in aid to the terrorists in the name of Humanitarian Aid due to Famine. During that short year of Famine, the population grew by 30%. If you are a bad guy, your numbers increase through some sort of evil magic and money (mostly money), and that is what Last Rambo had to deal with. The WNBA is using AI to ban fans who find the league's players to be obnoxious. Censoring and banning fans?
Maybe the WNBA needs different players? From Fox News: "As part of the comprehensive plan, the WNBA is rolling out an AI-powered technology solution to monitor social media activity, in partnership with players and teams, to help protect the community from online hate speech and harassment," it said. A revised WNBA fan code of conduct includes regulations for fans on social media, and threats of sanctioning those fans from official content if they are violated. The new policy lists racist, homophobic, sexist, sexual, threatening or libelous content as "subject to blocking or deletion." Did they plan on winning then declaring a medical emergency and allow Kamala to take over for possibly 8 years? I don't believe for a minute that these doctors just discovered his cancer. He has access to the best medical care in the world and they forgot to run a PSA on him or do a prostate exam? They didn't allow this man to be treated for his cancer to win an election? The doctors should be brought up on charges and this is just another reason to throw his entire staff under the jail.

Just read that FJB has stage 4 prostate cancer. How long has his doctors known and how much did Jill know.
Jail the White House Physician Kevin O'Conner for lying to the American People and being part of a massive scandal. But here is the thing.... since we know they lie about everything, and this sudden discovery of prostate cancer just happens to be made public a day or two before a Demented Joe book comes out, how do we know that they aren't lying about the prostate cancer but what Joe really has is a brain disease that if it were revealed, would bring into question the legitimacy of his own presidency. Since he was not competent or aware and unelected officials were making executive decisions, not only should this invalidate the auto-pen pardons, but also should negate the appointment of his Supreme Court nominee. Prostate Cancer lie is better than admitting the brain disease for protecting the gains made by the godless Marxist Left in their take-down of this country and Western Civilization. FJB & Co. *had to* have known previously about his p-cancer, it doesn't spread overnight.
I goofed earlier today, when I said Dad had been "in remission for 10 years"--- he was dx'd in 2007 and began treatment. Was clear after (iirc) 3 years of that. (no surgery, but he never elaborated on *which* treatment) He was supposed to get bone scans annually, but didn't do it every year. In 2017, he began having back pain/leg weakness and thought maybe he'd tweaked his back and needed chiropractor... um, no. He had a tumor inside L3/L4 vertebrae, which they zapped with radiation. He had other spots near hip and one elbow, which were treated via chemo and hormone therapies. Was about 20 months from detection of bone mets, to his death. I saw what remains of the El-Wag Centipede in a storage yard in Oregon. Its inventor, Elmer Wagner, was a brilliant guy, and not a crank of any sort. The Centipede consisted of about 6 or 8 '49 Studebaker sedans, all cut in half at the "B" pillar. One front half in front, and 6 or 8 back halves (I don't remember the exact number). They were linked by fully-articulated joints that contained a drive shaft within them. Each rear axle was driven, and there were hydraulic cylinders provided to cause each joint to bend laterally in the desired direction. The joints could also twist and bend vertically. Each axle was driven. Thing could go anywhere. He patented the articulated joint, and it has long been used for articulated loaders, tractors, and mining machines.

For the PC to spread to his bones, they had to know years ago. I saw study that said 80+% of men who die of old age have it.
I was diagnosed with stage 3 in 2017 at age 55 and had Brachytherapy to treat it. They implanted 77 radioactive seeds in it. PSA dropped for the first 2 years then started climbing again. Had another biopsy done in 2020, still had some active cancer cells. They can't implant seeds a 2nd time and can't remove it, so I had cryotherapy done to kill the rest of it. I first learned of it by reading an early 1950's issue of Mechanix Illustrated. They did a major article on it. Still have the magazine, but to find it? Sheesh! So I was at a Studebaker event in Oregon, and one of the local chapter members took us on a tour down towards Salem, and we viewed a large yard full of derelict Studebakers. And there was the Centipede! All in pieces, but all the pieces were there. Still had "El-Wag Centipede" hand lettered on the driver's door, just like in the magazine article. Great Toe story (that's the official name of the big toe): I was taking a shower and slipped, banging my right great toe into the flat end of the tub. Hurt like hell. Limped around with the ex saying I really didn't hurt myself, just looking for sympathy. One day when I took a step and saw stars, I called a foot doctor. After x-rays, found out I chipped the bone under the toe, with that bone floating in and out of a nerve. Had to have it removed in an in-office surgery using a local anesthetic. Shut her up for a little bit. She was one of those who somehow believed you're only hurt if you go to the hospital and somebody with medical knowledge is there to tell you you hurt yourself. Then you're officially 'hurt'. Posted by: RickZ at May 19, 2025 02:25 AM (gKDq2) 416

Posted by: RickZ I blame it on my Y chromosome. Mrs. Sock says yea but your particular one is special. Cut my middle finger to the bone one weekend. Wrapped it with guaze and duck tape. It was still bleeding a bit Monday morning. One of my employees was also an EMT. He took me ( underground threat) to the ER. ER nurse looked at it and said it's too swollen to stitch and it needs to be cleaned. Hurt like hell. My employee smiled. Later, I got the same reaction from my mom. Did it hurt? Good. She wss an ER nurse for 30 years and taught trauma nursing for 10. Most of my injuries growing up, dhe would look at them snd tell me to go rub some dirt on it. There were a hslf dozen trips to the ER. I loved the pop sickles. Posted by: Sock Monkey * poorly trained emotional support moron at May 19, 2025 02:45 AM (Uzn0I) 419

What you say is why Trump 'winning' now is so vitally important. Cutting off the Democrats' NGO funding is a tremendous start. But holding people accounatable for COVID, for me, is primary. If nothing else, we should allow extradition to anybody who wants Fauci et.al. And I mean anybody. Let him end up in the modern gulag in Siberia for all I care.

Everything else pales in comparison. I sm not optimistic that justice will be served in this life. It is coming though. Sockey Monkey,
Your Mom sounds a bit like mine. She had been in nurse's training early in the war but contracted TB, ending that career. Once I had a little kid at a picnic throw a dart that stuck in my orbital cheekbone when I was about 10. Mom took one look, pulled the dart out and said, 'take him to the Dispensary to get a tetanus shot'. Like, no big deal your child almost lost an eye or anything. Another time, in high school, I tore the right nail on the great toe (told you I hurt that right foot a lot!) when I opened a wooden door barefoot requiring it, after a freezing spray at the Dispensary, to be pulled off; I was out of school about a week for that one as I could not lower my foot without incredible painful throbbing. I slept in a Lazy Boy to keep my foot up. I got a little sympathy for that one as I really didn't do anything that stupid, just opened the door to let the dog out. Mom didn't care if there was blood. Obvious broken bones, yes. But mercurochrome merthiolate and a band aid fixes anything, scrapes, cuts, the plague. I carry on that tradition, though I've switched from "red medicine" to Betadine. Posted by: sock_rat_eez at May 19, 2025 04:16 AM (/Ghsb) 434
