Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | Politico: Democrats Beginning to Fear That Their Five-Year Conspiracy of Deception About the Husk President Might Come With Actual ConsequencesWhile Politico refuses to say so, the media should have the same worries. Oh right, I said "Democrats." That includes the media.Note that the only thing Democrats will admit about Biden's health is that maybe he lacked the physical ability to "vigorously" fight in the 2024 election, or maybe he didn't reassure voters that he "could win." This is the same lie they all told when they were pressuring Biden to drop out. They all claimed they had no questions about his mental acuity or ability to discharge the office. They only were concerned about his "ability to win" or the public's mistaken perception of Biden as too frail and deteriorated to be president. This is how they justify forcing him out of the race but letting the demented man remain president for six more months. And they're still lying, including those, like Josh Shapiro, that Politico claims are finally doing some "truth" telling. They're still pushing the absurd lie that Biden was mentally fit, just maybe not capable of convincing voters that he was mentally fit. The article notes that Gavin Newsom vouched for Biden's fitness, even after the debate. At least he vouched publicly. But he was present at the fundraiser where Biden shocked people with his weakness and lack of mental acuity. Democrats continue pushing the lie and refusing to come clean: "I think he had good days and bad days. That's all I'll say," Sen. Elissa Slotkin of Michigan told POLITICO.The leader of the free world, the man with access to the nuclear football, is not allowed to continue in office if he has "some good days, some bad days." Many Democrats who vouched up and down for Biden's fitness now say... they didn't see Biden's infirmity, because they just never spoke to Biden much: ... It was a pleading of ignorance that Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer likewise employed, telling CNN on Thursday, "I didn't see the president frequently. And I can tell you I can't speak to that directly."But you did speak to his fitness directly in 2024. You say you didn't really see him much -- but you vouched for him anyway. ... This is amusing: "Tapper" is trending, and not for good reasons. ![]() Comments(Jump to bottom of comments)Posted by: jmel at May 16, 2025 01:26 PM (RWHIh) 2

None of this really matters if it was just Candidate Biden we're talking about.
The sitting president was a vegetable. Who is on the hook for determining that he was incapable, and subsequently removing him from office? I'm pretty sure it's Congress. The House, specifically. In a lesser, unofficial sense, it's "journalists", but we all know those don't exist anymore. But that's where our ire should lie. Obviously the DNC or Biden's own crew weren't going to run around saying "holy shit this guy's a vegetable". It's the people who weren't directly in the employ of the president or his party who are to blame for this shit getting as bad as it was. Posted by: Warai-otoko at May 16, 2025 01:46 PM (yvnLa) 87

Bad news for chocolate chip ice cream lovers...it's on its way OUT:
Author Matt Richtel, writing for The New York Times, observed in 2024 that the ice cream industry has been moving away from the flavor in recent years, a once-unthinkable shift brought about by changing consumer tastes. Thanks to a buffet of flavors and options, chocolate chip is now being perceived as passé—too boring to compete with eclectic ingredients and bombastic names like Cookie Two-Step. “It’s not the worst, but it’s not that good,” one ice cream enthusiast, aged 8, told Richtel of chocolate chip—and also bemoaned the lack of cookies in the flavor. Posted by: Warai-otoko ======== Yep. Lower voting registration (primarily a mobility issue) and a bit lower voting right than the prime demographic of 40-65 or so. Plus they are in the peak geographic mobility stage and trying to start families. The usual pattern is once out of the 18-29 year old lowest voting cohort, the 30-44 begins a steep climb in voting due to home ownership, decreased mobility (which requires reregistration), and often means moving from the cities to suburbs where voting becomes the norm due to local taxes as well as schools. Bit too lazy to look up current figures as my research on mobilization dates to the 00's but not much reason to assume a different behavior from the past Greatest, Silent, Boomer, Gen X, early Millenials in voter mobilization research. Simply put, the female sex is discovering the same thing that males did economically in the 2010-2024 era. Massive debt to get college degrees affects one's ability to have a life beyond college.
And college under the Woke puritans is a helluva lot less fun and games than in the 80's and 90's. Eh, I think a lot of Democrat "cowardice" regarding Biden is that- it's just beginning to dawn on them that several of them might be criminally liable for running a "soft" coup on the American people. None of the people around Biden had been elected to the office of the Presidency by the American people. None of them had the right to make policy by usurping the power of the Executive. That includes Dr Jill. Given the damaging nature of Their Illegal and UnConstitutional Governance they should be arrested, tried, and if convicted, executed. While I doubt this would actually happen, it almost certainly should. The Dims involved in the coup and cover-up are being legally cautious. There is a story, today, in the UK DM rag about him closing his eyes briefly in Saudi Arabia. Big freaking deal. They have NO imagination, the Dims and redditors of collective screeching. Turn about is fair play they seem to say. Ok. Fine. In that case, jail Comey and others for their potential incitement of insurrection and murder. Treat them the same way as the J6 people who were and are jailed without trial. Yet Pelosi wants a plaque or something for J6, as her brain matter is full of white matter and plaques. Apparently this puts me in a bad mood! And while they scream for MS-13 cartel rapist murderers, they don't want the whites fleeing South Africa on our soil. Makes sense! NOT!!! I think Dims should collectively have MRI's of their wee brains as I think they are upside down and installed backwards. Posted by: ChristyBlinkyTheGreat at May 16, 2025 02:33 PM (6PCLE) 304
