David Hogg went on Bill Maher to attract straight young men. No, I don't mean attract straight men in piano bars, I mean he wants to appeal to them politically.

Or in piano bars. I don't know. I'm not his keeper. It's between him and his PrEP distributor.

He told Bill Maher that young men "just want to get laid," which pleased the Playboy-Mansion-haunting, prostitute-using Maher, but left a lot of straight young men feeling a little insulted.

Despite calling young men useless f*ckboys with no higher aspiration apart from getting their wicks trimmed, the man-hating left attacked Hogg, demanding he be ousted for supporting "rapey" men. (They love using cutesy, girlish words like "rapey" to describe something heinous. Because they're not talking about actual rape, of course.* They're objecting to men just desiring women. Real women, I mean.)

They got their wish: A DNC panel has voted to void Hogg's election as DNC Vice Chair.

They say this is because of improprieties in the vote. Really? Because the Democrats are always swearing there are no improprieties in any election.

It could be because Hogg is raising money to boot out Democrat incumbents that aren't sufficiently socialist or beta.

Or it could be because he attempted, however insultingly, to appeal to men.

A Democratic National Committee panel voted to void its election of David Hogg as vice chair of the Democratic Party on Monday.
The initial vote comes after mounting internal criticism of Hogg, though party officials say the vote was based on a procedural challenge made in February claiming Hogg and another official were improperly elected. The DNC will vote later this year on whether to remove Hogg.
"Today, the DNC took its first steps to remove me from my position as Vice Chair At-Large. While this vote was based on how the DNC conducted its officers' elections, which I had nothing to do with, it is also impossible to ignore the broader context of my work to reform the party which loomed large over this vote," Hogg said in a statement reacting to the vote.
"I ran to be DNC Vice Chair to help make the Democratic Party better, not to defend an indefensible status quo that has caused voters in almost every demographic group to move away from us," he added.

Monday's vote also ousted Pennsylvania state Rep. Malcolm Kenyatta as DNC vice chair. Christine Pelosi, a member of the credentials committee and daughter of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., argued the vote was not in reaction to their performance.
"First, I want to say clearly and explicitly that this decision has nothing to do with the service of any DNC officer, especially [Hogg] or [Kenyatta]. This is about a violation of parliamentary procedure that was raised in a challenge filed back in February by another candidate for Vice Chair."
"I think I speak for all of us on the Committee when I say I hope both of these talented individuals put their names on the ballot again," she said. "We'll move fast to get this resolved. I have total faith in our DNC members to review this issue and vote their conscience."

The irregularity seems to be a claim that Hogg's election violated the DNC's very strict "gender balance" rules. If you remember video from the election, the moderator scolded people that they must vote for a transgender for one position to achieve that "gender balance."

Isn't Hogg kind of a Gender Joker? He's whatever you need him to be.

* This is also their attempt to avoid defamation suits. They can say, "I didn't accuse you of rape, I said you were rapey!" There's no clear definition of this childish term so they would skate if they were sued for libel.

By promising to primary democrat candidates that don't have the full far left package, Hogg was basically submarining any potential victory on a national stage. We complain about them, I even work for one of the big ones (not Boeing, I have my morals and ethics intact). The one I work for charter does not allow anyone that is NOT an engineer to be in an executive leadership position, with two exceptions. The lawyer, and the finance guy. CEO, CTO, COO all three have to be engineers. This is carried down into all of our campuses and business divisions. Keeps the stupidity down somewhat. They use hardnosed assholes like me for competitive intelligence and market support in order to prevent the retired generals and admirals from writing checks that cannot be cashed by the engineers. It's very rewarding to tell a 3 button elite cocksucker "no" and have it stick.

Look, only go into STEM if you really love it: if you love it, you will never work a day in your life, but you will be gainfully employed as long as you want. And yes, it is very hard: the guys who think it’s easy money are the first to change majors. As an old professor told me,”There’s always room at the top!” This was when PhDs in physics were driving taxicabs in Manhattan. If you’re not aiming for the top, maybe you should do something easier, probably pays better. I wound up with a NRL postdoc, and, yes, a job at a second tier school, that I absolutely enjoyed. I wasn’t even the best: I’ve worked with the best (they wind up at first tier schools or at national laboratories). If they are gold medalists, I was a consistent silver medalist. But I enjoyed it, and lived well.
