Intermediate public education is a general curriculum meant as a fundamental base leading to specialty.

I kind of get that with DVDs. Some of those are expensive.
But they've started doing that with socks. If you need socks, you've got to find a store employee, and probably that employee has to find someone with a key.

From what I've read it's a common tactic that these guys are coached to use to delay being deported. Even if they aren't eligible for asylum this is enough to get a friendly judge and an administration like Biden's to just ignore him. Which they did.

As a retired prof (tenured), the ones that want to be 'friends' with their students and socialize with them often are the ones that get into trouble.
Office hours were never alone, door was always open or preferably if the student was agreeable in a public place. I did not call nor give out my texting information so all outside of class contact was through email and our learning system chatboard, etc.
Too easy for students failing or simply due to spite to report you for shit. I had a job, family, and a career to worry about rather than a juvenile student but then again I had a career before academia and never had the desire for females that I supervised or worked with.
YMMV but my way worked for me with no complaints until I retired. Plagarism process for students doing it was bad enough.
