A Tale Of Two Countries

France has double the percentage of Muslims as the UK, and it has more documented violence against Jews. Both countries lost control of their borders a long time ago, and the influx of Muslims and other third worlders has radically altered their demographics, increased violent crime, and has made both countries feel more like Germany circa 1938 than enlightened 21st century Europe.

But France has not had nearly the massive Muslim demonstrations in contravention of existing law, demanding Sharia, destruction of Israel, and implicitly the murder of Jews.

The UK has, and it is getting worse. Every day there seems to be another example of the UK authorities favoring Muslims over all other Englishmen, from turning a blind eye to systematic grooming and rape, most famously in Rotherham, but also in other places, to arresting people for the crime of stating that the murderer of three young girls was undoubtedly a Muslim. He was. She spoke the truth, and for that she is spending more than two years in jail.

This Is Britain: Mother Jailed For 2 Years Because of a Tweet She Deleted After 4 Hours

Unfortunately, Great Britain isn't quite so great anymore and is looking less and less like a family member and more and more like a copy of Communist China, but with a less rational immigration policy.

Child rapists are being excused from responsibility because they come from a savage culture. Tens of thousands march through the streets of London calling for the establishment of a Caliphate while people who criticize that are being tossed in jail. Mothers who fear for their children and speak out find themselves in the dock because, well, we can't offend the Muslims.

Yet in France, radical Muslim groups have been banned, and they have hardened their immigration policies. And most important, there still is a sense of a shared cultural tradition, and some national pride in the idea of "France."

These are posters in an upscale neighborhood in Paris, calling for the return of the Israeli hostages in Gaza. I saw them in a few places, and as recently as this weekend they were not defaced.

HostageParis345.jpg

HostageParis346.jpg

This is an official sign commemorating a Parisian Jewish woman who eight years ago was tortured, murdered, and thrown off her balcony by a deranged Muslim who chose her specifically because she was Jewish.

Rue de Levis.jpg

The highway leading into Paris from the airport has miles and miles of graffiti, and there are hundreds of yards of it calling for the return of the hostages. It has remained unscathed for months. I have seen no graffiti calling for the destruction of Israel, freeing Palestine, or any obvious anti-Semitic spoutings.

Contrast that with London, which has allowed massive demonstrations of Muslims chanting in support of the Caliphate, the destruction of Israel and the murder of Jews. Several Major cities in the UK are ruled by Muslims, including London, whose mayor, Sadiq Khan, has opposed Israel's "disproportionate" response to the October 7th Pogrom. He has allowed London to be shut down by innumerable protests against Israel, and is conspicuously silent about militant Islam in the UK.

Here is a example of what typically happens to posters calling for the release of the hostages.

BritHate456.jpg

So why the difference?

France clearly has national pride... something that has mostly disappeared in the UK. It has a more active religious life, and religion is a powerful indicator of support for tradition. The French Constitution protects freedom of expression, although to be fair it is a pale reflection of our 1st Amendment. But it certainly respects free speech more than the UK, which has doubled down on the destruction of free speech, except for Muslims, who seem to be able to say and do anything! Of course France has also banned wearing hijabs in French schools, and recently banned other Muslim garb. Whether that is a free speech issue is an interesting question.

I'm not wearing rose colored glasses. Paris is the jewel of France, and I am sure that policing of its Muslim population (the largest in Europe) is significant compared to other French cities. However, the Muslim neighborhoods on the outskirts of Paris are essentially no-go zones for the police, and worse in other cities. The French government is busily kissing the asses of Hamas and the Arabs in Gaza and Judea and Samaria by unilaterally offering to recognize a "Palestinian state." I would not be surprised if Notre Dame is a mosque in the 22nd century.

But I am also confident that Westminster Abbey and St. Paul's Cathedral will be mosques first!

5 London, which is still an economic powerhouse, is home to many globalist oligarchs from many lands.

They don't give a damn about the nation in which they operate, and of course they have a significant effect on the politicians who run the country.

France, in spite of all its other faults, is still very nationalist, with a strong sense of pride in their history and heritage.

Remember, this all really started with Hillary Clinton waging war on an already cowed Libya, and opening up Europe to unfettered immigration. This was a successful effort from the US Deep State to kneecap Europe. And European politicians helped mightily.

Britain has, or had, a robust and notorious class system. Different application of the law for different groups of people comes naturally to them.

One of the reasons Margaret Thatcher was hated so intensely by upper-class weenies was that she was "middle class" in background, outlook, and mannerisms. Her policies allowed lower class Britons to advance economically, instead of just meekly occupying their designated places in the socialist prison created by the ruling class.

22 Anthony Malcolm Daniels, also known by the pen name Theodore Dalrymple, wrote extensively about his experiences with the English underclass as a psychiatrist in an English prison.

He moved to France when he retired, precisely because France still thinks it has a culture worth defending, but the strains are becoming more obvious.

2023:

Some American visitors to my house in France have been impressed by a market in a small and beautiful town nearby: the quality of the local produce, the good humor and atmosphere of conviviality, in short, the savoir-vivre of which the market seemed to be so fine an example.

The night before, in the nearest town of any size or importance, rioters had injured three policemen, and another policeman was saved from murder only by his bulletproof vest.

It is as if France were not only two countries, but two continents, the one of beauty, prosperity, and contentment, the other of ugliness, poverty, and seething hatred. This is an oversimplification, of course, for intermediate layers exist between the two extremes; nevertheless, it is the contrast between them that is so startling.

24 Islam is not a religion but a totalitarian political philosophy masquerading as one.

And sadly, with 70 generations of first cousin marriage and progeny therefrom doing the same approved by Islam, this system has created 1 billion people who are far crazier and violent on average than even the worst-bred Westerner.

The world will suffer and perhaps die within the next 100 years unless these truths are acknowledged and steps taken to wall Islam off from the sane world.

I hasten to add that Islam was created by Satan as a result of his ass getting kicked by Christ on Good Friday and Easter.

30 There’s a major difference between the two as well. The French Muslims by and large are from former French colonies. So they’re Francophone-ish.

Walk down the street in a city in Paris and chances are the Muslims speak French to each other. Not so much in the UK, they speak in Arabic to each other, not English.

In order to do that of course, borders, sovereignty, and the right of self-determination must be extinguished. Mass migration obviously is a preferred method of effecting the changes seen as necessary to accomplish this.

The level of coordination required is impressive one must admit. And a whole host of feckless politicians and government leaders.

Nobody voted for this, indeed it is even illegal to complain. It takes a special sort of psychopath to offer up justification, excuses or apologetics for these atrocities.

I disagree. It's both of those things. If it wasn't they wouldn't have to lie, cheat and do things by force instead of persuasion.

Biden told us for 4 years that mass immigration was inevitable and he was powerless to stop it. Trump stopped it in a month. Biden lied and did everything in his power to sell this country out while claiming he was working to make the country stronger. And he was just the latest in a long line of presidents who did versions of the same thing.

About the only way Britain could be saved is if Chuck croaked and the new king himself as monarch began a new nationalism movement, probably using the CoE as a base to build from.

96 Taqiyyah is the Muslim concept that convinces me more than anything that Islam is nothing more than a totalitarian political system masquerading as a religion. The fact that one of the tenets of this "religion" commands one to lie if it advances the cause of Islam invalidates it as any manifestation of divine or Godly inspiration, in my mind. How can anyone in the world trust anything a Muslim says or agrees to, if their religion commands them to deceive. In order to advance their cause. How convenient.

One can argue that Christianity also has an aspect that calls for lies and deception, but that tenet comes from Satan, not from God.

139 >>It's a good tactic. Russia has long been the big, terrifying nuclear monster. For generations, the one and only enemy. In the mean time, China has done a blitz in every corner and aspect of our country. They have successfully taken over the Left completely, it has become so obvious. They love to play up the Russian threat as our most fierce opponent at every opportunity. It is China.

We've come a long way from Hillary's mislabeled reset button with Russia.

But it perfectly illustrates what I mean about the vast majority not really paying attention. At the same time they were building the Russia hoax Bubba Clinton taking big money for giving a speech in Russia to the same people.

No sane person who actually looks at what happened or has any idea about Trump's background believes he was colluding with any country let alone Russia but here we are.

144 My understanding is that the Labour government in the UK is dependent upon the mohammedan vote to hold power. They are now specifically not charging any crimes against this group, but are charging and imprisoning anyone who notices it and publicly comments on it.

The joke is on them, however. The mohammedans have already elected five of their own to parliament, and as soon as they are elected, they leave Labour. Their stated goal is to implement sharia law in the UK within about ten years.

Remember, during the riots of a year ago, soldiers out of uniform were assisting French citizens.

The British Armed Forces are way too small to do that. The police forces are compromised and can not be relied on to save the UK.

We've had that here for a long time but fortunately not enough to defeat Trump and Trumpism. As Rush used to say, there are many Americans who want to see the US taken down a peg. I'm guessing there is that same strain of belief in Britain but not so much France. The US and France have far more national pride still imbued in the culture than Britain and fewer people walking around hating their own culture to the point they side with those who want it dismantled completely.

182 Several Major cities in the UK are ruled by Muslims, including London, whose mayor, Sadiq Khan, has opposed Israel's "disproportionate" response to the October 7th Pogrom.

The mayor of London is Muslim - Sadiq Khan
The mayor of Birmingham is Muslim - Shafique Shah
The mayor of Leeds is Muslim - Asghar Khan
The mayor of Blackburn is Muslim - Parwaiz Akhtar
The mayor of Sheffield is Muslim - Magid
The mayor of Oxford is Muslim - Lubna Arshad
The mayor of Luton is Muslim - Tahmina Saleem
The mayor of Oldham is Muslim - Zahid Chauhan
The mayor of Rochdale is Muslim - Shakily Ahmed

All of this was achieved by only 4 million Muslims out of 66 million people in England. (6.1%)
Today in England, there are over 3,000 mosques. There are over 130 sharia courts. There are more than 50 sharia councils.
70% of Muslim women do not work and receive state support and free accommodation.
63% of Muslims do not work and receive state support and "free" (tax-payer funded) housing.
State-supported Muslim families have an average of six to eight children who all receive free accommodation.

In short, although the question “Why do they hate us?” became immensely popular after 9/11, it was actually answered during America’s founding, including through a little remembered letter written to Congress 237 years ago today.

"We took the liberty to make some inquiries concerning the grounds of their [Barbary’s] pretentions to make war upon nations who had done them no injury, and observed that we considered all mankind as our friends who had done us no wrong, nor had given us any provocation. The ambassador answered us that it was founded on the laws of their Prophet, that it was written in their Koran, that all nations who should not have acknowledged their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as prisoners, and that every Musselman who should be slain in battle was sure to go to Paradise." 185 France has always had a fair amount of Muslim immigration, because of the French colonization of Northern Africa. Until the last explosion of jihadism, roughly the early Naughts, the Muslim immigrants assimilated fairly well, since there were significant French cultural touchstones in their native countries.

I will say the French show their teeth when it comes to their culture. When the leftist lunatics started in trying to tear down statues of historical figures they didn't like, Macron shut it down fast and furiously, saying it was part of their history, good or bad, and the statues were staying.
