I saw that clip of Pam Bondi on FOX Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo. At one point there was a brief discussion about the Democrats and their public calls for violence.
It was a disappointing little oratory from Bondi about all that. So don't expect any changes in the left's current war on us.

I think this is a deep state op to use all of their power to stop trump in his tracks any literally everything and to get the kind of people who voted for Trump to become discouraged in the system and shut the fuck up and die off already to make way for the New Americans who know to keep their mouths shut and do as they're told.

Look at the constitution. This is way beyond the role carved out for the judiciary. It not only directly intrudes on the presidents Article II powers, it challenges the plain language of the constitution. That said, this is more an administrative issue for SCOTUS who has ceded this subterfuge to the lower courts. Roberts had numerous opportunities to stop it. He didn’t. That’s either a deliberate act of malice or incompetence. Either way the Executive Branch and the people who elected the president should turn back this grotesque judicial overreach.

The most damning information about this guy is that he was in CHARGE of the FISA court, when it was destroying the Constitutional protections of Americans.

Technically, circuit courts are called that due to old judiciary acts but the appellate court in DC is called the DC Court of Appeals. Right now, the problem rests with federal district courts which are not and never were circuit courts. In the olden days before the 1890's, there were actually circuit courts that heard serious cases as panels that were sort of appellate courts yet also heard original cases as well. The treason trial of Aaron Burr had Justice Marshall sitting as a circuit judge (he was over that circuit on Scotus at the time but justices divided time between hearing cases as a judge and then returning to Scotus season to hear appeals). Marshall presided but sat with a district court judge on the case.
That is why the fedgov after the 1890's judicial reorganization, had three judge district court panels hearing all cases where a law, action, etc. of the fed gov or states was held to be unconstitutional. From about 1900 or so to 1976 when these panels were removed except in the case of election redistricting. Direct appeal to Scotus so no ducking of decision there.

It would be very satisfying.
Unfortunately, it doesn't happen in real life. But if I were the defendants in the J6 case and the judge lectured me about remorse, I would have a hard time not rolling my eyes.

But preparing cassoulet myself? It takes 14 days and 766 hours to prepare. Pass.

It was a brilliant strategy, and it worked to perfection. The stronger man punched himself out.
It was a great fight, and it ended the way it should have. Foreman was never bitter about Ali winning, but he struggled with his own sense of self for years before finding purpose and meaning again.
It's a redemption story that should resonate with damn near everybody.

I made chicken and waffles Saturday- but my chicken strips were breaded in whole wheat flour, wheat germ and brewers yeast, and then air fried. (Also spices and red pepper flakes), and the waffles were whole grain / protein ones. So yummy.

Under the 1948 ruling, the only role for the judiciary in the Alien Enemy Act process is reviewing whether individuals are correctly placed in the "class" of those affected by deportation orders, I think. But I've not seen a good explanation of whether this means a court must go through a process - with the individual able to contest the classification, meaning a whole thing for each and every person involved - or if some ex parte process is possible.

I am not ready to accede this noble intention to Roberts' actions. That is thinking in OUR frame of reference, granting all benefit of doubt, to account for his somewhat (now expected) unexpected actions and judicial outcomes attributable to him.

That is that they weren't subject to normal cloture requirements. I thought only Budget Act items (namely Budget Resolution and Reconciliation) were privileged.

Basically you add one more person to the loop after Congress and the President have agreed the law is constitutional. Since half of the Judicary is left-borg though that does little if it is a leftwing usurpation of the constitution, they'll rule it constitutional by the same left-borg standards used by the President and Congress in passing it.

As for judiciary being ultimate safeguard on unconstitutional laws, there is in fact a bit of a dilemma, but it's actually not hard to resolve.
Logically and critically the constitution vested most authority in the accountable ("political") branches, precisely because they were subject to the voters' will. The ultimate guard-rail in our system is supposed to be the voters themselves, not "institutions".
So an unconstitutional law ideally would be dealt with via amendment/repeal driven by voters via Congress and state legislatures.
This doesn't address the yuuuge and vexatious area of "interpretation" by the courts, where they don't rule a law unconstitutional but instead turn it upside down, or turn the constitution upside down to allow a law to stand (Dred Scott, O-care, on and on).

Legally, it is a writ of mandamus that can issued to a judge by a higher court to correct their attitude. Judges themselves are not immune from civil contempt proceedings including jailing to get their mind right up to 364 (365 in leap years) days in jail.
Can also be referred to DOJ for criminal prosecution of contempt after that.

I think it's time for the Administration and Congress to put their heads together and come up with a Judiciary Reform Act to mitigate the problem of nationwide rulings by district courts. Yeah, maybe the Dems can block passage in the Senate, but judicial overreach would have serious consequences in the midterm elections, and it might provide an incentive for the higher Fed courts to do their job.

Japan's LDP is sane and the natural governing party of Japan as is the UK was Conservative because Labour was and is insane so people voted Tory simply for protection. In that country too, the Tories as well as the conservative party in Germany simply became less insane than their opposition. And UK has lurched left to the point to where it threatens the country's existence.

The MSM and the Dem party have their lowest approval ratings in decades. They are nothing to fear. Mobs can be dealt with. A Judiciary Reform Act would be evidence that the Administration and Congress are serious about our out-of-control Article III branch and the debates that follow passage in the House will push this matter to the forefront.

What's amazing is the balls on these traffic judges. Right now, the richest man in the world, who is helping Trump and America, could pull a "Jimmy Hoffa" on these assholes, and they'd never be heard of or found.

When you're a god-judge dwelling on Mt. Olympus one simply does not observe the niceties and trivialities of things like the Constitution, your oath of office, the law, or responsibility. They are self anointed gods. You must obey their dictated "law." Justice be damned.

I've long had this fantasy about being able to dress down a judge like they do to parties in the courtroom and (occasionally) their lawyers.
It would be very satisfying.
Unfortunately, it doesn't happen in real life. But if I were the defendants in the J6 case and the judge lectured me about remorse, I would have a hard time not rolling my eyes.
