I have a prayer request, . please. A young friend of mine- "C" well younger"-in her early 30's was just in the hospital probably for depression. I haven't gotten all the details yet because she just texted me to say she was released and I didn't know she had gone in . Anyway, she has the intense job of being an addictions counselor and is a very bright, caring RC woman. It's sounds like a very stressful job. She needs healing and that rough places be made smooth. Thanks.
I will probably tell her that it might be helpful to stay off social media and news . She always knows the latest political happenings which is not always a good thing for one's state of mind. Thanks very much. Posted by: FenelonSpoke at March 24, 2025 05:47 AM (5P44L) 43

The Democrats’ judicial blitz is unlike anything we have seen in our history. Unable to stop President Trump’s nominations from being confirmed by a Republican-controlled Senate, the Democrats have turned to judges to throw monkey wrenches into every possible administration policy. A few of these efforts might ultimately succeed, but most presumably will be reversed on appeal–although perhaps not by the D.C. Circuit, most of whose members are Democratic appointees.

The thing about 23andMe is that if any of your relatives gives their DNA to a database then the authorities now basically have your DNA as well.
That’s how they’ve caught a few serial killers already. Not that anybody around here has anything to worry about, but ya know, sometimes mistakes can happen. So who knows shat will happen in the future with DNA databases but do you trust big gov & big corp with your DNA sequences? I’ve never given my DNA to a corp, but some cousins have, I’m sure. — Led Zeppelin III took a few listens to grow on me as it’s such a departure, sound-wise, from I and II. They were a lot more experimental type stuff as they started moving away from their blues-infused roots. But Immigrant Song was a great way to start that album, for sure. Posted by: Huck Follywood at March 24, 2025 07:18 AM (vkMfW) — A lot of Europeans will have Neanderthal DNA. The scientists couldn’t figure out why they vanished so suddenly until DNA came along and they discovered they hadn’t really vanished, they were basically conquered by Cro-Magnon people from the south and the women and girls were taken for slaves. The Imperial Judiciary Of The United States
Yeah, nice thought. But, as I've said, all CONgress has to do to force compliance is eliminate all inferior courts. They do not, therefore they are allowing the thwarting of President Trump to happen. They are as guilty as the judges themselves. Posted by: OrangeEnt at March 24, 2025 07:48 AM (0eaVi) 127
Conservative influencers are the latest targets of swatting, a dangerous hoax that brings armed law enforcement to the homes of innocent families.
The involved law enforcement agencies aren't innocent parties in this. If any government agency in an allegedly free Constitutional Republic can do an armed assault on an innocent American citizen without any recce just an anonymous phone call over the internet and various VPNs to hide location, the SWAT teams are complicit. They are using the color of law to pretend that they are heroes in Fallujah against relative plush toys. The officers completely enjoy humiliating and threatening American citizens, hoping for any reason to smoke them in their living room. The crash of the door frame is their Viagra. They get to LARP as action heroes while portraying themselves as worse than KGB or Stasi because at least those terror regimes had a cause. These animals are just looking for any reason to kill American citizens and apparently an anonymous phone call over the internet is all they need. And we get upset about Red Flag laws. This is shoot and kill on the most flimsiest excuse. Posted by: Unknown Drip Under Pressure at March 24, 2025 08:09 AM (a4flb) 128

I keep asking myself why we even have a Congress. Seems that damned near anything that as any effect, positive or negative is a product of an EO, arbitrary bureaucratic action, or activist Marxist "judge". These assholes are there ONLY for the grift and posturing. They can't pass a budget and every day they are in session the Republic is closer to ruin. Posted by: CharlieBrown'sDildo at March 24, 2025 06:48 AM (L5An7) And maybe it could be planted at crime scenes? Properly used, DNA in the hands of law enforcement should only be able to say "No". That is, DNA doesn't prove that a person was at the crime scene, it can only say this person wasn't. When TV says "The DNA is a match", its a writer's crutch to get the Who-Done-It wrapped up in forty-four minutes. Posted by: Unknown Drip Under Pressure at March 24, 2025 08:22 AM (a4flb) 133

@71/FenelonSpoke: "Maybe I asked this before, but I can't recall the answer. Is there a technical reason why some people receive my text messages and some don't?"
Just got back from my morning run and saw your question. When I got my new phone, "RCS Chats" was turned on, and it was interfering with my standard SMS messages getting in/out of my phone. Here's where it is on my phone: { Messages button on my home screen/desktop } { Click the upper right circle with the first letter of your first name } Scroll down and find the gear, "Messages Settings". Click that. There should be an "RCS Chats" line. Click that. Turn off the "Turn on RCS chats" setting. Now all messaging is strictly SMS messaging through your phone provider. Note: You can also find this setting by clicking the main settings Gear icon for Android, and then use the search line to search for: RCS Posted by: Grumpy and Recalcitrant at March 24, 2025 10:07 AM (O7YUW) 139
