I drove mostly in NYC, NJ, Boston and Philadelphia. I hated every minute of it but it was good money. I remember driving on the NJ Toll Road. When you got off at your exit they would hand you a speeding ticket when they gave you your change. Fun times.

I crossed the George Washington Bridge early one January morning when the water main from NJ to NYC froze and broke open. When I hit the bridge and saw all of that freezing water spraying across the bridge I let go of the steering wheel and slide across the entire bridge. That was a huge pucker factor.

Is it time to ask the question: Was Stern ever actually funny? Does anyone still recite Stern bits? Does anyone watch the old clips?

I used to listen to Stern everyday for decades. Stern himself was never that funny, but he had a good sense for it. Jackie was funny, Artie was funny. After Artie was canned was when the show really began to lose its energy, around the same time Howard became accepted by the celebrity crowd and he began the left tilt.

When he turned on the Donald as hard as he did, it was the end for me. Trump was one of the only celebrities who would regularly come on and shoot the shit back in the day. What a turncoat bastard.
