I found a channel on YouTube with remastered versions of 70s, 80s, and 90s music videos. Often what is available either has third-generation VHS video quality or the video is fine but the audio is barely listenable, so a few times I've had to post just the audio version instead. Disclaimer: Also they shouldn't be region-locked, though they might spontaneously combust due to copyright strikes. Comments(Jump to bottom of comments)1

I meant to mention, for those of you following along at home, that big black Stirling cat turned three years old on Tuesday. I gave him a pouch of near-liquid cat treat, which he loves. Last night he climbed into my lap, just as I was going to bed, and so I delayed that for a while.
Little Dagny will also turn three in about two weeks. She is still aloof a good part of the time -- the only cat I've ever known well to be like that. When we have our house I suspect she will find places to snooze, and I won't see her for hours at a time. Posted by: Wolfus Aurelius, Dreaming of Elsewhere at March 13, 2025 04:31 AM (omVj0) 10

So three days ago, Mrs VIA came down with the Type-A Flu. Fever has been trending downward, but it hit pretty hard. She missed the Lenten meal and service last night, and has no strength nor appetite, but is eating a little, and getting plenty of fluids. Life Goes On - 2009
Gerry Rafferty https://is.gd/VUU5XR Mr. Rafferty recorded this album in late 2009. It would prove to be his last album. A severe alcoholic, he went into steep decline throughout 2010 and died on January 4th, 2011. This album always struck me as his musical last will and testament to the world. The songs are mostly spiritual and about life and death and given his frailty and alcoholism he must have known time was near. Another recording in a similar vein is Johnny Cash's American IV. It was recorded in November 2002 and it's the last album released while he was still living. He passed away in September 2003. It was recorded at the last moment before his gifts started to leave him and it's consists of covers that touch on the same themes of life and death. This album by far is my favorite work by him. https://is.gd/SmFd8E https://is.gd/SmFd8E Posted by: Alteria Pilgram - My President has convictions. at March 13, 2025 05:03 AM (hjWnr) 21

And in the continuing saga of stately VIA Manor getting a new HVAC system..
Got it installed two days ago. Full bore, high end Dave Lennox Signature Series with all the bells and whistles. It was expensive but we were in a position to make the upgrade, and with the steadily rising cost of electricity, we decided to go for it. And in two days we have had 41 degree and 79 degree weather, so both heating and cooling were experienced. Feels like a new house. Hot and cold spots are gone, and reading the hourly energy use reports, there is a significant reduction in energy usage. So far, we like it.
