Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | Corrupt Judge Who Bought His Judgeship By Shoveling Millions to Biden and the Democrat Party Refuses to Recuse Himself Despite Having a Financial Interest in Keeping the Phony Grant Grift GoingSo many surprises and plot twists that I'm having trouble keeping up. Judge's Failure To Recuse Himself From Trump Spending Freeze Case Shows How Court Is RiggedThis is the guy who essentially purchased his judgeship. Democrats are no longer hiding their Tamany Hall corruption any longer. Meanwhile, in a closely related Fake Lawsuit, the Supreme Court sent a case back to corrupt Democrat judge. The judge had ordered Trump to pay out $2 billion despite the elected president's decision to cancel these grift-grants. The Supreme Court declined to overrule the judge, but did send the case back, instructing the judge to be more precise about how much of the $2 billion he believed must be spent. The judge appears to have blown this order off completely, and has just re-demanded Trump to pay out the $2 billion in grift money by Monday. The Supreme Court plainly envisioned this judge would re-examine his decision and narrow it. Nope, the corrupt hack said YOLO and just issued the same order again, this time with a 48 hour deadline. Is this what the Supreme Court had in mind when instructing Judge Amir Ali to proceed with his TRO ordering payment to USAID groups "with due regard for the feasibility of any compliance timelines"? Two business days? ... So why Monday? Two possibilities come to mind, and they are definitely not mutually exclusive. First, Ali might want to prevent another appeal of this order from reaching the Supreme Court again, where he knows four justices want another crack at this case. Second, Ali may want to punish the Trump administration for challenging him as well as cutting this spending, and is setting them up for a failure which will allow Ali to assess punitive damages and other sanctions when compliance can't be achieved. That may be why Ali is holding off on the specifics on the amounts and recipients, too, although that's more of a hindrance than an obstacle to appeal. They will need the full order before taking this to the DC Circuit court of appeals, which tried to slow-walk the last appeal before John Roberts reached down and grabbed it out of frustration. This time, the DoJ may appeal to both levels concurrently, especially since it's clear that Ali is defying the Supreme Court order to consider the "feasibility of compliance timelines" with another absurd deadline for payment. That should come back before the court that issued the instruction, and again, at least four justices would agree. Will Chamberlain of the Article III project explained how lawless this ruling was. The grant grifters claimed that Trump was violating their contract with the government. But contract disputes with the government are not brought to district courts. The federal government has sovereign immunity, and does not grant permission to sue them. The federal government does allow lawsuits, but not in Article III courts, but instead in executive courts, specifically Federal Claims Courts. Amy Coney Barrett and Roberts refused to simply tell this judge, who has been on the job for a single month, that he had no jurisdiction. Instead, they continue to play pussyfoot with the #Resistance.

Time to go Andrew Jackson on the uncontrolled courts; ignore them, giving the people the rationale:

While the judicial branch has nebulous rules on conflict of interest I suspect FedGov as a whole does not.
Time for one of Trump's AGs to find one of these judges that is getting USAID money and arrest them. If the SC wants to let this game of the judiciary having the ability to police the executive to continue it is time for the executive to show it also has the ability to police the judicial. And here's the thing, even if another court to rules that bribery for a judge is A-OK and you still win because then Trump can then just say he's ignoring the judge's ruling just like the judge ignore federal regulations on conflict of interest with the two being coequal branches and all... Yes, well, this is the problem with immigration like we have now. The informal institutions of being looked at askance by your peers if your ruling is overturned work when all of the judges are peers in the same social group. When some of the judges are Canadian-Americans with Arab names, well, maybe that peer pressure doesn't work so well. Easy enough to dismiss those judges as a bunch of old white racists. When you have people completely disconnected from American society and American history, EVEN if they have the best intentions, institutions will begin to fail. Pretty rapidly. Right leaning judges take their independence seriously and go consider the case taking their own sweet time. Leftist judges rule solely based on whether the ruling helps the left or not. Posted by: 18-1 at March 07, 2025 03:27 PM (t0Rmr) 86

Time to go Andrew Jackson on the uncontrolled courts; ignore them, giving the people the rationale:
Judges with major conflicts that won't recuse themselves Judges taking the power of the executive as their own Only problem is this will lead to the Dems doing the same thing when they get the White House again. It'll be worse than what Biden did ignoring the courts. Posted by: jim (in Kalifornia) at March 07, 2025 03:06 PM (ynpvh) The judiciary has no oversight. They have become the tip of the spear for the deep state. They have become a criminal enterprise much like Congress. It's time to start ignoring them on policy and politics. It should be repeated often that they are not the only arbiters of what's constitutional and what is not. Is TV lying to me? Posted by: Holden at March 07, 2025 03:28 PM (jc0TO) Disbarment? Seems unlikely. You need informed consent from your clients if you represent clients where there could be a conflict (ie: you represent Apple in their copyright suit against Samsung, but you also represent Samsung in a landlord-tenant dispute. As long as Apple and Samsung are aware of that, you're fine. If they're not, you could potentially get in some trouble if one of your clients reported you to the bar.) In this case, he's a judge. He's not getting disbarred. He could get impeached (yeah right), or a sternly worded letter from the chief of the Circuit under which he falls, I suppose. I wouldn't expect anything to happen to him realistically though. Posted by: Harry Paratestes at March 07, 2025 03:31 PM (uCjyK) 107

SCOTUS justices appear to be rather susceptible to ideological bias, as well as to the danger of physical threats (Barrett and Roberts, particularly, by all accounts, were shaken by the possibility of mob violence and the failure of the Biden administration to offer any protection; we can't eliminate the possibility that their susceptibility to intimidation may have had an impact on their "thinking").

235 Again, per the SCOTUS, once congress appropriates a bucket of money and an executive agency allocates the money as a grant, the grant becomes an unbreakable one sided contract and the POTUS is merely a spectator to all of this and can do nothing except stick his thumb up his ass and salute.

I agree that at some point, Trump might have to go full Andrew Jackson.
Someone needs to do it. The Court needs to back the fuck off, and no one has had the balls to make them do it since, well, Jackson. And Obama set the modern precedent of ignoring a district judge over the oil leases on federal land, so... Posted by: Harry Paratestes at March 07, 2025 03:47 PM (uCjyK) What Trump is showcasing, is a systemic flaw in our government. Just who can over ride the Supreme Court, or hell, any court. These Judges work under 'Court Rules' which are written by the Supreme Court itself. There is no basis in any law for a Judge to be able to countermand a President, or hell, anyone, without those rules. Congress delegated to the Supremes, writing of said rules, and gave them the power of Law... which... seems like Congress once more abrogated their Responsibility under the Constitution. The 'Powers' delineated in the Constitution give both the Power, and RESPONSIBILITY, for the issue... Thus, just like the Budget crap we are finding, we find that Congress once more is not doing their Job, and reigning in Power that the Court's have given unto themselves. There's likely going to be a time, probably not that far down the road, when people have had enough to the lawfare, the multi-tiered justice system, corrupt, ideologically driven judges and all the rest of this shit when they just quit following any sort of rules and laws and take matters into their own hands.
I think it's coming, sooner rather than later. People's exasperation with the legal system in this country is following the same sort of path Trump's accession did. Posted by: Martini Farmer at March 07, 2025 04:00 PM (Q4IgG) 247

I get tons of ticks every year working at our farm.
Best practices: drive straight home, strip nekkid - putting all clothes in dryer on the hottest setting (hot, dry air kills them), run to the shower and pick off as many as I can find, then ask Bride of PI to do a tick check**. (**She usually likes to see me nekkid, this is her LEAST favorite time!) Wife can just twist them out with her fingertips for the ones that have already attached. Further, if I find one the next day, she can usually still get those out within 24 hours. After 24 hours we have to use the tick remover. It is a little plastic tool that looks like the flat construction prybars that have the bend and claw on one end. Get the curve under the ticks head and lift, at that point they usually pull up your skin and with a little more pressure, come off with a bit of skin in their mandibles. I do NOT like leaving them on and treating. I do not want any pregnant ticks dropping off of me into my house or yard. I hope that helps any Morons that get ticks! Also, I believe we should reconsider lifetime appointments to the Supreme Court.
