Emergency Backup Overnight Thread – Remember the Alamo Edition – March 6, 2025

Alamo at Night.JPG

Before we start tonight’s ONT, here is a quick note from Weird Dave with a couple important updates…

[Hello Morons! This is Weird Dave, I want to thank Buck and Roger for covering the ONT these next 2 nights, as I have to be in Baltimore for my sister's memorial service. I did need to write this intro, however, because I have an update from our dear friend Jim Sunk New Dawn:

Not knowing where to start, so I'll just do so, however clumsily. I've asked Weird Dave to edit and proof this for me, as my typing has declined from 80 wpm, down to about 8. As to my scarcity here. Goes to this, really. I'll have to type this in bits and pieces. Put it together and into WD's able hands.

When he posts this, I will in NO WAY be able to respond to even a single greeting or inquiry. Hence, I greet you all, and will gladly wave at your words there on my screen. My fingers though, grow weak and quail at that many keystrokes. Same with chewing. I'm a walking skeleton, it's a job to chew much, no matter how good the fare. Feeding tube soon to follow.

Otherwise, I'm still able to care for myself in all ways, even driving. Down to 2 shotguns and 3 rifles for sale. All the handguns are gone, save for my carry gun (which IWB helps to hold my pants up) and Herself New Dawn's small battery at arms. With which she's highly skilled. Don't piss her off, 'eh?

Thanks to Federal ALS legislation, the VA was directed to adjudge my case as Fully Service Related. So, I get all the "boosts". Healthcare, equipment, household ADA mods, and boost to Social Security. I requested a Home Health aide, but when Herself New Dawn saw that I had spec'd a mid-30s buxom lass, well... the doctors say my bruising should subside any day now...

Much more to report, but hands now tire. Take it away, Weird Dave!

I didn't change a word. It's hard to edit through tears. We love you Jim. – Weird Dave]

I’ve also had the good fortune of corresponding with Jim Sunk New Dawn, as Galveston is a place that is dear to my heart, where I spent a lot of time in my younger days chasing speckled trout and other coastal delights. I’ve said a prayer for Jim, his loved ones, and those who are caring for him, and I encourage you to do so too. He’s family to all of us.

On to the Overnight Thread…

Today is the 189th anniversary of the fall of the Alamo in 1836. For us boys growing up in Texas, the Alamo loomed large in our cultural identity. In the words of Pappy O’Daniels’ “Beautiful Texas”…

Beautiful, beautiful Texas
Where the beautiful bluebonnets grow
We’re proud of our forefathers
Who fought at the Alamo

The Alamo obviously loomed large in the entire American psyche too, as evidenced by the ongoing fascination with David Crockett, the many movies made about the Alamo, and the lingering power of William Travis’ letter from the Alamo. Eleven days before the Alamo fell, Col. Travis sent his famous letter which read:

Commandancy of the The Alamo

Bejar, Feby. 24th. 1836

To the People of Texas & All Americans in the World-

Fellow Citizens & compatriots-

I am besieged, by a thousand or more of the Mexicans under Santa Anna - I have sustained a continual Bombardment & cannonade for 24 hours & have not lost a man - The enemy has demanded a surrender at discretion, otherwise, the garrison are to be put to the sword, if the fort is taken - I have answered the demand with a cannon shot, & our flag still waves proudly from the walls - I shall never surrender or retreat. Then, I call on you in the name of Liberty, of patriotism & everything dear to the American character, to come to our aid, with all dispatch - The enemy is receiving reinforcements daily & will no doubt increase to three or four thousand in four or five days. If this call is neglected, I am determined to sustain myself as long as possible & die like a soldier who never forgets what is due to his own honor & that of his country - Victory or Death.

*****

Ron Howard’s 2004 movie “The Alamo” was excellent, but it did not get good reviews. The reason for the bad reviews, of course, was that the left-wing media simply hates the story of the Alamo, and how the heroes of the Alamo are valorized in American culture.

Billy Bob Thornton’s performance as David Crockett was exceptional, and if you’ve never seen it, here is a little snippet, with Crockett (Thornton) taking a potshot at Santa Anna.

*****

The Alamo, which is just a few steps away from San Antonio’s Riverwalk, remains the most visited tourist site in the state of Texas. And since 1985, visitors have been asking about the basement of the Alamo.

*****

While there are several great songs about the Battle of the Alamo, including Marty Robbins’ classic Ballad of the Alamo, my favorite is “Stout and High” by Monte Warden & The Wagoneers. The Texas rockabilly legends capture the bravado of the Texians as they stand firm, and then the horror as the Mexican army breaches the walls of the Alamo compound.

Come on, Santa Anna
Give us your best try;
Come on, Santa Anna
These walls are stout and high

The fighting at the northern wall
Seems to have stopped;
Did you see Travis fall?
God save Texas and my kids,
Have mercy on my soul;
Great God they′re in the wall!

*****

This 1849 daguerreotype is the earliest photograph taken of the Alamo chapel. In fact, it’s the only known photograph taken in Texas before 1850. It was taken just 13 years after the battle.

The famous arched gable façade was not part of the structure that Travis, Bowie, and Crockett knew - it was added around 1850 by the US Army Quartermasters Corp, at which time the Alamo chapel was being used as an Army storage depot.

Alamo Photo - 1849.JPG

*****

This is an amazing account of the Battle of the Alamo from the last known survivor. Enrique Esparza was the 8-year old son of a Tejano named Gregorio Esparza, who was one of the Alamo defenders. (Although all adult male defenders were put to the sword by Santa Anna’s troops, women and children were mostly spared.) This is Enrique’s recollection published in 1902, which was 66 years after the battle.

There is much more at Traces of Texas’ Twitter-X link, but here is part of his account:

On the first night a company of which my father was one went out and captured some prisoners. One of them was a Mexican soldier, and all through the siege, he interpreted the bugle calls on the Mexican side, and in this way the Americans know about the movements of the enemy. After the first day there was fighting. The Mexicans had a cannon somewhere near where Dwyer avenue now is, and every fifteen minutes they dropped a shot into the fort. The roof of the Alamo had been taken off and the south side filled up with dirt almost to the roof on that side so that there was a slanting embankment up which the Americans could run and take positions. During the fight I saw numbers who were shot in the head as soon as they exposed themselves from the roof. There were holes made in the walls of the fort and the Americans continually shot from these also. We also had two cannon, one at the main entrance and one at the northwest corner of the fort near the post office. The cannon were seldom fired. "I remember Crockett. He was a tall, slim man, with black whiskers. He was always at the head. The Mexicans called him Don Benito. The Americans said he was Crockett. He would often come to the fire and warm his hands and say a few words to us in the Spanish language. I also remember hearing the names of Travis and Bowie mentioned, but I never saw either of them that I know of.

*****

There are so many legacies of the Alamo, but America’s manifest destiny might not have played out as it did were it not for those brave men who sacrificed their lives and interrupted Santa Anna’s march through Texas. For two weeks the Mexican Army was stalled in San Antonio, and great losses were inflicted on it by the Alamo defenders, before Santa Anna could resume his pursuit of Sam Houston’s main Texian army.

Without the Alamo, Santa Anna might well have routed Sam Houston’s army and prevented Texas from becoming, well, Texas. But instead, Sam Houston defeated Santa Anna’s troops at San Jacinto seven weeks later. Much of western North America was thus liberated from Mexico’s control.

16 I'd always assumed The Alamo was Disney's first woke movie.
All I knew was Billy Bob Thornton, $200 million budget for $9 million opening weekend.

They could have gone head to head with John Wayne's The Alamo and done better, just by playing the trailer that had John Wayne talking on screen, 'How do you measure a man's honor?'

20 Leftists who don't like the Texans defending the Alamo are de facto siding with El Presidente General Sana Ana. Good old Santa Ana, the "Napoleon of the West", who overthrew the duly elected Mexican Republic, instituted strongman rule, and decided to quell every uprising against him in the blood of the disaffected. Then again, maybe the current crop of Leftists really do like him!

One of the reasons surprise was achieved at San Jacinto was Sam Houston attacking during the siesta. But the Mexican army was on lower alert, and that was following the example of their leader Santa Ana. the army was grouped around a plantation, and El Presidente was amusing himself with a pretty mulatto girl that was part of the plantation staff. Seeing the army crumble under the Texan + tejano attack, he put on an enlisted man's uniform coat and tried to hide in the nearby woods. He was found * brought to camp, but recognized only when the officers & men were seen saluting him. The mulatto girl achieved immortality as the Yellow Rose of Texas.

65 March 6th also marks the anniversary of the Cologne tank duel between a German Panther tank that had just destroyed one Sherman and disabled another Sherman and a prototype T-26E3 heavy tank equipped with a 90mm cannon.

As part of Operation Lumberjack American forces were driving to the Rhine in hopes of seizing a bridge across. In the shadows of the bomb damaged and blackened Cologne Cathedral this duel would take place. As Andy Rooney watched from behind the disabled Sherman, the Panther moved out of hiding and took aim down the street the new American tank was approaching on.

The German tank crew hesitated upon seeing the tank thinking they were facing another cut off German panzer since their own forces had just blown the bridge trapping them on the wrong side of the river. That hesitation gave Eagle 7 the chance to fire an armor piercing round that struck true. Before the Germans could react two more rounds hit the Panther.

This happened on March 6th, 1945.

85 Jim, over the last week I was wondering how you were faring and because I still am taking time for granted I would always get distracted from following through.

Thanks for the update even though its harsh to read. The end game of our lives is a rigged affair and it seems all we can do is compete for every moment left; the win here is to find our own personal dignity and serenity.

It is an odd thing we do here, how we connect. Still it matters; maybe what is here is a community of the far flung bound by a common understanding of who we are and what with value. And, at this moment I, your far flung friend, value that have let me join you in this most difficult time. We may go out of his world alone but we don't need to go lonely.

Prayers up like a sail. May both carry you where you must go.

86 Big Bro hugs to Jim NSD.

As to the Alamo's basement - it really isn't much to brag on. A two lane bowling alley, three cheesy vending machines that only accept nickels and dimes, a wastebasket that was last emptied in the early 80s, one toilet - without a stall or a seat for that matter, a four foot flickering fluorescent light fixture, and a flypaper strip up in the corner.

I mean, it's nicer than my first apartment but that's about it.

My late brother was a TX and US history teacher and re-enactor and used to teach that factoid to his students. About a year ago, I ran into one of his former students from the 1980s. She said the one thing that she never forgot was that story. He gave a presentation at the San Jacinto monument for the sesquicentennial in 1986 and never needed notes. Thank you for a topic dear to my heart. It means a lot.

96 There is actual footage of the tank duel.

It starts with Rosen I think following the two Shermans as they are ambushed. The first Sherman suddenly stops and starts to burn. You see the TC Lt. Kellner come out the hatch with an M-1 Carbine. Then you see he has no left leg below the knee and the stump is smoking. Lt. Kellner would die minutes later behind the disabled Sherman.

Another combat photographer, Bates, had taken a perch high up in a building overlooking the square where he could see the Panther in the square seeming to wait for Eagle 7.

111 Weird Dave,

Yes you are and your work always brings a smile. What is easily missed here is the fuller lives we all live. A glimpse of that came through when you wrote about your sister's sudden collapse. Your distress came through loud and clear, it was a sobering, a counter point that Weird Dave was much more than all that, more like a Loving Dave.

Memorials are hard but they can mark the moments of the life just past but also mark the the shared memories of that life. Memorials I find are less about the ephemeral sense of closure and more marking the moment that we have the self granted permission to let go. Healing will come when it comes. Heal well.

116 A hearty and hale hello to Jim Sunk. It was good to read your words and reminded me of someone whose memory is a blessing. My cousin Jim Raye was quite ill with rapidly advancing ALS last spring, but he gathered a bit of reserved strength and wrote me a beautiful letter in which he apologized for not being closer with me and my family. It has to be the most touching and personal adios' I have ever gotten, or even hope to ever get. This young man spent much time with us when we were much nearer the start of our journey, long before any rdoson's or rdodoter ever came along. And while Mrs rdo is not a wilting flower she can be overwhelmed in a ruff and tumble crowd of unknown Norge's. Jim Raye was so sweet and self deprecating when attempting to put the Mrs. at ease. He is a sweet soul and when I think on his memory, I am reminded of John Prine's "When I get to heaven". Bless you Jim Sunk, I hope you find rest in the arms of the father.

165 I believe Elon is pushing Starship development too fast. SpaceX issued a press release within the last week describing what the engineers believe went wrong on the last test flight causing Starship to blow up. The release described a boat-load of changes to remedy those problems. I thought to myself, being a space-stuff engineer, "Those are a lot of changes to design and make to flight hardware in just a few months! How are they testing and verifying acceptability of all of them?"

Today another Kaboom. Maybe they did fix what they think went wrong last time but still missed the real cause(s). Maybe today's problem(s) were completely new...perhaps caused by the rapid changes? To repeat, I believe Elon is pushing too fast, too fast to actually learn lessons from Starship - not super booster - test flights. Elon has money to burn but he may be actually burning it to no purpose lately. Hopefully Elon's engineers will prove me wrong. Starship can be a mega-game changer, for scientific, commercial, and military space projects.

178 Story of the Alamo Cannon: the defenders had 18 cannon of various sizes, from an 18 pounder down to two 3 pounders. After the battle, the Mexican Army spiked the defenders guns and left them mostly buried on the site, where they stayed for over a decade. (They were heavy, hard to move, and who needed a ruined big gun?)
But the famous Texas rancher Maverick (yes the one whose name became the word we all know) heard about them from some of his hands and mounted an expedition to get them all and bring them back to his ranch - which he did! That may seem pretty presumptive of him, but that’s what Maverick was like, besides anyone else has had years to do something about them and never did.
Most of them are now restored and located at various museums, etc, and we have Maverick to thank for that.

Heal well.

Yes, but blowing-up two in a row a few minutes at nearly the same point in flight is not evidence of learning much from each flight, in my opinion. The way they operate, they shouldn't need two years of analysis and ground tests to figure the problem(s) out, but it looks to me that they need to take more than seven weeks to make a lot of changes. IIRC the previous test flight was only in mid-January. Making a lot of changes to problematic hardware simultaneously, chasing failure causes, is typically not wise. You can't be sure what fixes did and didn't work. And can't be sure if the fixes in combo created a new problem.

We'll see what their next plan is.

194 Pillage Idiot,

You get it. One aspect of engineering is the art of managing trade offs. When you have a number of complex systems interreacting with each other you need to identify the ways there systems are coupled.

You can sit around and model it based on some beginning assumptions but those assumptions are always simplified. At some point during design you have to touch grass as they say.

I assure you Elon's folks are doing plenty of modeling but one of the ggood things about SpaceX is that they can afford to build the prototypes. Many programs cannot and only have a couple shots to get it right before they run out of money.

This is not the case for SpaceX so it's kind of like the best of both worlds.

Plus Elon is doing something that is really on the edge. He building the almighty recoverable second stage. Everyone else is just improving the existing techs. Elon's who idea has never really ben done before, just like landing a suborbital booster.

PS: A friend who is a NASA engineer and follows SpaceX closely told me after the previous kaboom and again tonight he believes the root cause is pushing the Starship Raptor 2 engines too hard, running them at much higher thrust than they are to produce. SpaceX is developing a new Raptor Model 3 engine designed for that higher thrust performance but haven't gotten it ready for flight yet. So the root problem may not be hard to remedy but will take some time to add.

I saw that someone recently has mapped out the route that they think his army took, which has never been certain even though a very detailed description of their journey was written by someone in his column. It was a long route, but avoided most of the higher passes.
One of the keys for them was when he identified a debris pattern from a large landslide dated to about 2300 years ago. The account of Hannibal’s journey tells of a time where they were at a complete stop for days, figuring out how to cross the debris field from a large and very recent landslide. I believe they ended up coming down into the eastern side of the Po River Valley, a very prosperous area both then and now.

202 I would guess from my experience that pushing a launch schedule like the the last thing that is ready is the software. Rapid code development and deployment has a way of getting out of control very quickly.

I agree. As I said above, making a lot of hardware changes, and any resultant or simply new software changes, rapidly and simultaneously, is typically unwise. It can leave the engineers chasing their tails if the same or similar problems occur on the next flight.

Anything run at higher performance than designed is a calculated risk. There is always margin in a good design, but any contraption pushed to its maximum capability plus a teeny-tiny more, will fail. I believe you're thinking of "Medicaid" which is waaaay different from "Medicare"...

Hubby went into facility as an emergency-admit from ER when he fell at home (uninjured, but confused and unsafe to discharge). Private Pay, "temporary" resident; we were hoping he would regain cognitive skills after restarting a med he'd previously been taken off of. (rifaximin)

After a few days there, he broke his hip and then came back to facility as Medicare-paid patient for PT until recovery.

Unfortunately, he is still confused at times. I cannot assure his safety anymore at home, but we do not qualify for LTC Medicaid. Yet. Once our retirement accounts are empty, *then* we'll qualify.

Early '80s we had some doozies. One 18 incher and a couple of 12 to 14 inchers. That 18 incher started on Sunday afternoon and ended Monday night.

The best is the blizzard with the lightning. So bizarre. In college saw that once. It was then I truly understood being lost in a blizzard 10 feet from safety.

Hubby and I have so much respect for people decades ago who endured the winter weather. We are all so blessed to have heat and indoor plumbing.

Perish the thought! ~ Nancy Pelosi and her $250 Million

Problem with Medicaid is, like any other program for the 'poor', it has massive fraud. Just one example that still pisses me off is how some on Medicaid use ambulances for car service. They'll hop an ambulance -- for free -- to a hospital, get out and walk down the street to go shopping. Nothing they can do, or so they say. Really? An ambulance used as bloody car service just because it's free? Burn it down.

259 Well, I went into the front room, and went over the section of wall I painted this afternoon with a jaundiced eye. There were a few places where tapped joints were fuzzy because sanding pulled up fibers from the joint tape, and a few tiny divots that needed more mud. spent a half hour, and re-mudded all that; a very thin film of mud that will dry overnight, and can be sanded in the morning. Should make the wall as close to perfect as I need it to be.

265 Assuming Hohmann transfer orbits, flights from Earth to Mars “line up” properly only roughly every 26 months. Then the flight time takes about 259 days from Earth orbit to Mars orbit. Once you get to Mars you have to wait 459 Earth days for Mars and Earth to “line up” again for the return Hohmann transfer. So you can leave for Mars in two years (well once every 26 months) but unless you take a massive amount of supplies (or know how to grow food in transit and perfectly recycle water, wastes, etc.) it will be very hard to have manned missions to Mars. Unless you plan to stay there and know how to grow food on Mars (and we really don’t know how to do this successfully yet, neither on Mars or in space) it’s a really big logistical problem. It costs a lot of money to boost every single kilogram to orbit, much less to Mars and back. Just food for thought, if you are talking about going to Mars in person.

I did the ceiling with texture, and it does. I Did a lot of the "sanding" with a drywall sponge, which proved to be very easy to use. Earlier today, I did the final sanding of a few joints with one of those little "oscillating tools", which did a fine job, mostly effortless, and the dust fell striaght down, with little becoming airborne. I will use that again on the patches I recoated, unless the wall paint clogs the paper.

Then move stuff in the room to access the other third of that wall, and get it done.

This is the most easily identified flight issue.

As I said they probably have a very good idea of the current engine reliability because of all the ground testing.

If the walls are knockdown texture, that looks like little plateaus and valleys, you could try using a short-nap roller, loaded very sparingly, to paint just the "high" areas a contrasting color, maybe light green or desert sand. Might give a sort of marble-like appearance. And if it doesn't work? Use a long-nap roller, and paint again with a color you like.

306 in 2001 we looked at a house where the family room had mirrored ceiling and black quilted naugahyde walls with chrome rings placed in strategic spots. creepiest place i've ever seen.

Something hubby's XW chose.. We just hadn't gotten around to tearing apart the living room yet.

309 Pam Bondi is saying that because of National Security, the full unredacted Epstein files are going to have to be withheld from the public. She is either being bullshitted by deep-staters of she is bull shiting all of us.

Lets assume, as a worst case, Epstein was a Mossad agent who was collecting compromising information on our Government officials so that Israel could influence our government's behavior.

It is absolutely impossible for there to be any "National Security" concerns in those files. Because the FOREIGN COUNTRIES INVOLVED ALREADY KNOW ALL OF THAT. The only people being kept in the dark are U.S. citizens.

This is classic mushroom theory CIA behavior: keep us in the dark and feed us bull shit.

312 Good night four seasons, I happen to like Addiction Solitaire, it is well named, I don't play it so much any more but I liked it during the Chinese/Fauci flu lockdown.

You folks in red states have no idea of how we suffered in Liberal enclaves.

I am sleepy, but I will end this post with a nice story about the Horde and Jim SND particularly.

My first visit to the MoMe and I haven't been alone in over thirty years except for the transport to deliver or retrieve kids from college. Anyway, I got a bit panicky because I was in strange territory, needed to drive home and I don't see well at night. How was I to explain to my kids that I got lost or in an accident in a totally different state than the one I said that I would be in??

I asked Jim if he was coming back to the venue in the morning, he assured me that he was and proceeded to give me a ride to my hotel, pick me up the next morning and drop me off to grab my car and head to the airport.
This was after he bought me breakfast. Horde people are very special people.

Farmer, nice comment.

Good night, Horde.

Nothing, and I mean nothing beat the colors in this frigging house when I moved in. It looked like it survived a paint factory explosion. The kitchen has a vaulted ceiling, so it's 13.5 ft high, and there 2 hallways, one on each end, and the entrance foyer. It was pumpkin orange. All of it. plus the 13.5 ft high frigging wall of pumpkin...frigging.. orange..JUST to add to the terror. you know whats it like to be 2 inches tall and waking up in a hollowed out pumpkin? I know, trust me, I know. The living room was a shit shade of green. The master bedroom had periwinkle on 2 walls, puke yellow/green on the other 2 walls. Spare bedroom was UPS truck brown. Family room, with a full cathedral ceiling looked like a vintage McDonalds. 2 walls yellow, 2 walls bright red with the white ceiling. I won't even mention the bathrooms. One was forest green.

You have no idea. I had to call my brother to send his painters to do the rooms with the tall ceilings immediately, because I didn't even have a ladder that tall, and the colors were literally depressing. I couldn't deal with working on the old house and then coming home to this. I spent a week painting the rest of the house. The walls and ceiling were in excellent condition, thank god.

319 Paint used to be the cheapest way to change decor. Maybe it still is, but jeeeez it's gotten so much more expensive!

I can live with the (relatively pale, certainly not "pumpkin") orange walls for a while yet. Don't know if I want to even bother with this house now.

321 I moved my bride and newborn son to San Antonio many moons ago. So many in fact that that the river walk only had one bar. Turned out that bar had a piano player I knew from my first hourly job at Shakeys. We splurged one evening with a sitter and went down to the river for dinner and a few brews. The Alamo was quite the sight at night. Life is not always wasted on the youth.

yeah, paint is stupid money now. Sometimes at home depot they got a few shelves of paints they sell cheap because the color was wrong. $9-10 a gallon. If you found something you could live with it was a good option. I didn't have that luck, but a friend bought a bunch.

323 One bedroom was a salmon-pink/orange, with blue accent wallpaper border & blue painted metal closet doors. Multi-hued green shag carpet. Nightmarish!

It's now lavender with wooden closet doors and NO wallpaper border. Maple flooring. Off-white window blinds. Very restful.

Posted by: JQ at March 07, 2025 02:55 AM (rdVOm)

324 Another couple of rooms had dark, cheap-o paneling. We painted it all not-quite-white. (The walls are cinderblock, so that's why we left the paneling up.)

It's nice to *see* in there, without requiring a 500W light to do so!

326 Dearest Jim, and Herself.
Please look in to Infrared therapy! A lot of tanning salons have switched over or have a few red light beds. But there are plenty of devices, bulbs, panels, for home use. Herself will enjoy the beauty benefits.
I will post videos that you undoubtedly have seen, but I'm doing it anyway. One references a book about treatment/supplementation for ALS. I haven't read it, but it might be helpful.
The first video has a list of supplements that are very good for mitochondrial and stem cell production. You have to hit "more" twice and scroll down. Most are available in powder form, not sure how that would mesh with a feeding tube, but perhaps swallowing is not as difficult as cheeing?
You sound like you're doing wonderfully well in many ways. Please continue to do so! My prayers join the rest. You are terribly missed, and we want you back. 🤗

333 This comes after a report that Obama has been staying with his ‘best friend’ Martin Nesbitt in preparation for their new $18M mansion in Hawaii.

In preparation for what exactly? Is he selling the Hawaii house?

336 Assuming Hohmann transfer orbits, flights from Earth to Mars “line up” properly only roughly every 26 months.

Yup, Elon covered that last week on Rogan.

To Gref’s speculation about being in a hurry, he’s interested in getting off planet before either Marxists destroy it or a meteor NASA missed shows up. He thinks that’s about a 30 year window.

Have always loved seeing the words, (*pours bourbon*), "Cheers!" You represent the very best of this remarkable collection known as the Moron Horde. That's saying quite a bit.

He said we had a dumpster full of ammo on the roof and were getting ready to "do the Alamo" before they were ordered to evacuate. He actually sounded a little disappointed.
