Dot and Diana to the doggie chiropractor today. Dot for a follow-up (fine despite some arthritis) and Diana in for us to learn what physical therapy exercises she needs to strengthen her loin muscles. She had a bad tear in her iliopsoas muscle when young, which was only correctly diagnosed recently. These are very slow to heal.

It's actual quite intuitive, because so many of the increments can be divided into halves, thirds and quarter, unlike decimal systems.

We rip on the English, but only because most Americans have no idea what the French, Germans, Russians, etc. used before the metric system came along. It was all the same sort of thing, paces, handweights, etc.

That is to say relatable to common people who could do simple math to make it work out.

Then the smart people made everything base 10, and also invented paper money.

118 When I went to the hospital they put these heart monitor tags on my hairy chest, without mercy or shaving. Strong tape, too thick nasty stuff that didn't want to come off. I read online that if you use olive oil, and soak the tape with it, they come off easier. And it worked. I lost some hair and the skin was really red, but I lost less than I would have just rending it off raw.

Usually nurses will shave my chest a bit but these nurses were not having any of that.

I came out and the wretched mouse was trying to drag its self away from Ash with one paw, slowly moving across the porch as he watched carefully. I felt bad for the little thing.

I think the higher courts are scared it will get to the Supreme Court and a ruling will cut them short of power over the executive. Better to over rule this than lose that ability.
