Good morning kids. Following on from yesterday, what do you call it when blubber blubbers? That's what you'd be asking yourself had you tuned into MSNBC (or as I call it MSNSDAP) last night to witness the spectacle of the unceremoniously shit-canned Joy Reid emit her final cloud of toxic waste on their airwaves as streams of black-mamba-venom-laced tears flowed down the distended face that launched a thousand shits. And yet why did she get the chop while the equally hideous Zero audience murderer's row – in the case of Joe Scarborough that is especially accurate regardless of the official story in the death of his former intern – of so many others like him, Rachel Maddow and most especially Al Sharpton remain. Well, in the case of the latter, He'd have turned 30 Rockefeller Plaza into Freddies Fashion Mart 2, race riot arson boogaloo.

As stated, they have zero audience and yet look at the lineup of every major broadcast and cable network as well as the editorial board of every major newspaper and all are composed of the most strident, hardcore leftist true-believers. Regardless of Reid's departure and supposed attempts to stem the hemorrhaging of viewers and subscribers, it's never going to work because of the media's innate and preternatural hatred of the very people they have alienated for years. The very fact that an Al Sharpton has daily access and visibility on American airwaves let alone is pimped as some sort of rational, American voice of reason and moderation when he and his sewer-lid medallion and Morris Day hairdo should have been rotting in prison for a litany of crimes, fraud and violence means something else is afoot here.

As I have often stated, I am a firm believer in the first amendment right of free speech as well as in the free market. What I detest are those who palm themselves off as journalists when they are naked shameless partisan hacks. If someone wants to be a pundit and editorialize, hey no problem but admit it and let the chips fall where they may. Whatever is wrong with Fox News these days, not so very long ago they counterbalanced someone like Sean Hannity with the late Alan Colmes. Meh, basta cosi. I think the point has been made, but the media's mission is not the honest reportage of news nor is it a balanced presentation of both sides of an issue via pundits and editorials. It is the advancement of the Leftist/globalist agenda along with the concomitant transmogrification of the American government as a massive centralized bureaucracy to further that aim. Even the rejection of Jimmy Carter in 1980 and the coming of Ronald Reagan is nothing compared to the emergence of Donald Trump, especially this time around and most especially with what he has exposed and is now taking a wrecking ball to via DOGE.

Trust in American media had been on a sharp decline for years and is only accelerating, while at the same time the MAGA agenda's popularity is skyrocketing across a broad swathe of society, and not merely conservatives.

It's why stories like this are laughable while in a sense encouraging.

In this case, everything that is wrong with this country and everything that has brought us virtually to our knees since the New Deal, ramped up with the Great Society, Obama/Biden. Everyone and everything you have donated money to and for are responsible for the misery, suffering and waste of blood, treasure lives and potential.

Considering that unless and until the GOP gets behind the MAGA agenda and does a mea culpa for decades of get-along to go-along bipartisanship and worse, a place at the trough to wet their snouts, hold on to your money.

Then examine everything you believe in and admit that open borders, sexualization of our children, a massive welfare state, promotion of abortion, the shredding of our Constitutional freedoms, the continued brainwashing of our children that America as founded is irredeemably racist white supremacist/misgynist etc. etc, acquiescence to the march of Isam abroad and here are wrong and dangerous in the extreme, then you will have learned your lesson of 2016.

In short, the Leopard will have to change its spots. Not going to happen. Given this leopard is evil and seeks absolute power by any means necessary. Because the evil that defines it needs to see us destroyed ignorer to achieve its aims.

15 I think one of the reasons Joe and Mika are still on MSNBC is because back in November, after the election, they went to Mar-a-Lago to "kiss Trump's ring." It was advertised as a "reset" but they went down there to plead for their jobs. Probably promised they'd do more "puff pieces" on Trump in exchange for the incoming administration to go lightly on the pair.

Others, like Reid, and those preceding her who were antagonistic towards Trump (personally) and refused to chill out... are being chilled out anyway. The threat of massive lawsuits seems to have that sort of effect.

16 I enjoyed the clip on X where Trump explains the purpose of the “5 things” email; which is exactly what I’ve been trying to say here whenever it comes up. It has *nothin” to do with the actual answer given (unless its an intentionally vulgar one, I suppose) but rather, it is a ping sent out to see which employees actually exist, and which are just fraudulent names and accounts soaking up a check each month.
So of course it doesn’t matter if Kash exempts his department, because he’s capable of determining for himself if his people exist or not. This query is meant to ferret out thousands of names that exist only in the shadows, but which still collect a check each month.

Inflation is a monetary policy issue, not a fiscal one. It has nothing to do with how much you spend or don't spend. It had everything to do with how loose or tight you keep the money supply. Too much money and you have inflation and low interest rates. Too little and you get the reverse.

How much you do or don't spend is a fiscal impact. Spend a lot and you're higher up the demand curve and prices increase accordingly. Spend a little and you move down the demand curve and prices decrease. The idiocy of the Biden admin was trying to tell people that the inflation they were seeing was just a bunch of people in their new jobs with their high paychecks buying up everything. That's bull

Never confuse a supply/demand shift with a monetary one.

And yes, this all oversimplifies things a bit (deflation, government intervention, etc etc) but for discussion purposes this is the grounding of what inflation is...nothing to do with spending, everything to do with money supplies.

In the '60s and early '70s, our local supermarket chain (think Walmart long before Walmart) had a small bar on the premises. Dad could have a beer and smoke a ciggie or two while Mom and the kids did the grocery shopping. Nobody worried about drinking and driving -- which is good for freedom, but maybe not so good for other drivers and your passengers. Anyway, the supermarket and the state left it up to an adult to decide.

The biggest location of the chain had a classic barbershop upstairs, along with insurance offices and other businesses, and a TV lounge where Mom could park the kids for an hour of cartoons while she shopped.

I'm thinking that this is bullshit.

Anything stored on a server is also replicated on another in a different area in case the primary is taken out by storm, terrorism, fire, etc.

So they also wreck any one of the replicated servers.

What about be off-site backups and archives?

To do this requires a lot of coordination and now turns into a RICO because it is a conspiracy involving multiple teams and their leadership.

And that assumes that they self-host, which I'm not sure to believe because AWS/Azure keeps getting three letter contracts to manage cloud data.

I did serious ESG work (the good kind, not the woke kind) for a very large international investment group. They were very much interested in getting into mining.

1. Trump cannot unilaterally disband USAID as it was created by an act of Congress, specifically the "Foreign Affairs Reform and Restructuring Act of 1998".
2. It is questionable if Trump can move USAID under State as the aforementioned act reportedly made it an "independent establishment" outside of State although no mention is given as to whether a general cabinet level overseer was named.
3. If Congress fails to do their jobs, or acts in a corrupt manner, all the various agencies rot will once again metastasize. Nothing Trump can do can absolutely prevent that.

If this is true, then federal data systems need a MASSIVE overhaul.

However, the idea that electronic data storage systems are not backed up to prevent data loss in the event of hardware failure strikes me as unlikely, even for the feds. The idea that a general employee would have the access rights necessary to delete files from the backup strikes me as even MORE unlikely.

I suspect that files are being deleted from the servers. Backups of those files will be retrieved and the identity of the malefactors determined. That's when the fun begins.

Exactly. In many industries, you just don't "delete" files, most people don't have the access rights to look at the files, a smaller, handful may have delete rights, but no one has the access rights to delete local and off-site stored files - unless you are a sole proprietorship.
