Their Time Is Up Like Abraham, our shared Patriarch, we, too, struggled to find the righteous among the wicked. We hoped that the Palestinians of Gaza will show something of the courage we had seen in Syria, Tunisia, or Libya and stand up to their maniacal overlords. No protest materialized, and support for the tyrants grew the more adept they proved at slaughtering the Jews. We hoped for a Palestinian Oskar Schindler, one righteous man or woman who would stand up to Hamas as righteous men and women stood up to the far mightier Nazis and say that no cause or ideology justified the brutal murder of an infant. None came forth. We offered large monetary rewards and safe passage to anyone delivering any information about our hostages; hatred spoke louder than self-interest and cash. Israel’s neighbors to the south had all the opportunities anyone could reasonably ask for to resist, repent, recalculate course. And at every turn, they returned to the singular idea that gives them life and meaning: Kill the Jews, all of them, gleefully. If we didn’t understand all of this before, we ought to now that we are burying two dead children. And the lesson we must learn is simple. It comes down to one word: enough. There comes a time when civilized men must drive off or eradicate the barbarians if they want to keep their civilization. That time is past. If I were Trump, I'd tell Bibi to do what he has to. Related:They’re Coming for the Jews: Why Liberals Choose to Hate the Chosen People Don't Stop Until You Take Berlin Trump Has Become 21st-Century George Patton It’s Aug. 1. Third Army has been activated and you are going full blast to the Rhine River and you’re not going to stop. Remember what [Gen. George] Patton said, “Audacity—l’audace, toujours l’audace, l’audace—audacity,” Always audacity, more audacity; encore l’audace. And you cannot stop, you’ve got them completely in disarray. They’re floundering. They’re screaming. And then other people can follow up, like Marco Rubio did, in brilliant fashion, in Panama. So, Donald Trump is a shock corp. He is the 3rd Armored Division, that’s got the enemy completely disorganized. And then behind him comes the infantry and they consolidate and institutionalize the accords that he’s made. So, the next group of people will go down to Mexico and they’ll get things institutionalized. They’ll go to Panama. They’ll talk to Denmark. They’ll do the mechanics of getting aid. But Donald Trump’s the tip of the spear. And the more audacious, the more ambitious and the more rapidly—in this brief window of four years—he can dismantle this administrative state and bring us back to common sense, the less opposition. They are trying to suggest to you, if you’ll slow down—we’re going to make him slow down and we’re organizing against him. They’re not organizing. They’re completely in disarray and they’re doing exactly what they should not do if they want to climb back from 31% up to 50[%] or 60% approval, the Democratic Party. The thing I love about what trump's doing is that he's going for the low hanging fruit Since the left can't help but oppose anything he does, he's making them defend things like obvious fraud. It's a beautiful thing. Related: Dems Keep Putting Themselves On The Wrong Side Of Popular Issues In Trump Era The Dream Abolishing the Income Tax One of the most immediate benefits for individual taxpayers would be the elimination of time spent on tax-related activities. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) estimates that the average individual taxpayer spends approximately 13 hours per year preparing and filing their federal income tax return, according to the IRS Paperwork Reduction Act compliance estimates for Form 1040 (https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/i1040gi.pdf). This figure includes gathering records, completing forms, and ensuring compliance with tax laws. For the roughly 150 million individual tax returns filed annually, this translates to nearly 2 billion hours collectively spent on tax preparation. If personal income tax were eliminated, this time could be redirected to more productive or personally fulfilling activities. For example, a taxpayer earning the median U.S. hourly wage of approximately $30 (as reported by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, https://www.bls.gov/oes/current/oes_nat.htm) could effectively "save" $390 worth of time annually (13 hours × $30/hour). For higher earners or those with more complex tax situations—such as self-employed individuals or those with investment income—the time savings could be even greater, often exceeding 20–30 hours per year due to additional forms and schedules.Being self-employed, tax prep is the bane of my year. I'd be thrilled if they ended all the nonsense. Kash Was Confirmed Today
Eat The Bugs ‘New Urbanists’ Want To Bulldoze The Suburban American Dream Picture this: a four-story residential building perched atop an artisanal coffee shop and a yoga studio, its micro-apartments stacked like shoeboxes in the name of “sustainability” and “resilience.” Now picture something else entirely: a pristine, master-planned community where every house has a front porch, the streets are lined with picket fences, and everything looks as if it were plucked from a Norman Rockwell painting — except there are few if any houses of worship, the zoning codes are suffocating, and the price tag ensures only the elite can afford to live there. These are the two faces of New Urbanism, an ideology that, masquerading as “traditionalist,” conservatives have tolerated for far too long. On one end, you have high-density urbanism, where developers — in cahoots with machine politicians — cram as many people as possible into apartment blocks, eliminating cars and personal space under the guise of environmentalism and a sense of community. On the other, you have the faux-traditional, highly regulated enclaves of Seaside and Celebration, Florida, prohibitively expensive and ironically more artificial than the suburban developments they criticize. The suburban America I grew up in in the 70s and 80s was a paradise. No wonder the left wants to abolish it. 4 Nations Tournament The championship game is on now, USA vs Canada. Anyone watching? It's 2-1 US in the middle of the 2nd as I post this. Canucks That Fuck Sex lives of Canadians: Not all happy couples are happy in the bedroom As to how much sex Canadians are having, a quarter (27 per cent) of those polled reported engaging in “sexual activity” at least once a week, and roughly one third reported a once-a-month frequency (14 per cent) or never (15 per cent). The rarely or never group skewed toward 55-plus Canadians and the not sexually satisfied. A full 26 per cent of respondents preferred not to answer when asked how often they participate in sexual activity. While “sex seems to be everywhere in our culture,” and Canadians might be more open about discussing sex than previous generations, “the discomfort quickly returns when we scratch the surface,” sociologist Tina Fetner wrote in her 2018 book, Sex in Canada: The Who, Why, When and How of Getting Down Up North.Fun fact: Canadians invented doggie style so they could keep watching hockey while doing it. Those that don't like doggie style try to score between periods. Heh. I met Gingy online in 2001. Back then that wasn't very common, and people used to ask “How did you meet a Canadian online?” I used to say with a straight face. “Oh, I met her on Canucksthatfuck.com”. All taxes penalize whatever they are a tax on.
The income tax is a penalty on labor which is obviously the dumbest thing you could tax. Do you want your countrymen working to generate goods and services for all or...sitting on their asses? And this is why the argument against tariffs is so pathetic. Yes, tariffs penalize important products. Well...good. At least arguable so unlike taxes on income, investments or real estate. But do you know what its Muslims conquerors used it for? Well, it was a watch tower and also they used it for call to prayers. They are not savages, animals, or any other convenient terms. They are hostis humani generis - enemies of mankind. The term for pirates, acknowledging that any nation can capture, try, and execute them for their crimes, even if committed against another party. In their case, they are even further - a full writ of outlawry must apply to them, and it must be accorded no crime to end them under any circumstances. No protections of the law. No protections of anything. No right of counsel or clergy. Not even the consideration of a grave - leave them for the scavengers to spread their bones to the winds. The Turner Diaries has inspired numerous other acts of domestic terror, including the Oklahoma City bombing and the January 6 United States Capitol attack.
You know what actually inspired the OKC bombing? Because the guy that did it told us why. The fact the government murdered all those people at Waco, including kids, and no one was held accountable. And the oddest part of this is the left claims this is the shit that creates terrorists in the middle east (its not), but somehow they pretend murdering people for shit, giggles and "RESPECT MUH AUTHORITAY!" will not at all lead to some people trying to enact justice on their own in whatever twisted way they see making the most sense. The Emir escaped but the Soviets captured three of his sons. Even more importantly consider the impact of taxes on labor. If you pick up those overtime hours that are good for the business and at overtime rates you as well...you get penalized, meaning fewer people do it. 1... they were not fired yet, so how is there any Injury, thus, no standing. 2. It was a UNION that brought the suit, with 12 anonymous 'victims'... uh... how is the Union harmed, no standing. 3. They had not even been told they were fired, just to come in and bring their badge (which does usually mean something)... but again, no action yet. 4. Those with long memories heard the bullshit arguments in the 1980s and 1990s. Common sense, realities of $$$, fell on deaf ears. Leftists would not shut up, and they wouldn’t change the subject. Their “facts” were very selective, and/or ignored issues that they decided nobody could talk about.
“White Flight” out of urban cities, was actually anybody and everybody, who could get out of a crime ridden shit hole. Leftist politics cannot be to blame, so “racism” it is. And somehow, the leftists howled. “It isn’t fair” to escape from a crime ridden shit hole. That was their position then. They hate suburbs for this reason. Now it is couched in pseudo-academic quackery - and vile rhetoric - that it is “White Supremacy” to want to avoid crime. “Low income housing” requirements are part of this. They complained bitterly of schools that weren’t adequately funded. As every schoolboy knows, property tax is far higher in nicer neighborhoods. There is more money to go towards nicer schools. In fact, this is what drives people to do better, to make more money, to be able to send their kids to better schools. You get what you pay for, if you’re lucky. I always thought that the ideal of America was due in part to the rights of the individual. This is not common, and has never been common. “Human rights” are not the same as individual rights. A minority of one. Other countries often have very lax standards for building construction, roads, bridges, all sorts of things. Our standards generally were extremely high, because in part excellence was demanded. We are better off in aggregate because of equality under the laws, we are stronger together because we place an emphasis on the individual. We don’t like all the lawsuits, but it does keep people on their toes. Alpha Centauri had some interesting game mechanics but ugh the game story was based on stupid soft left stereotypes.
My favorite though is one of the good factions - the UN Peacekeepers - is led by an Indian guy whose big quote is America destroyed itself by censorship and a self righteous elite. Almost certainly when they wrote that the real complaint was pron and gay stuff (yes there was a time in America where not everything was gay all the time) but the quote really, really rang true during the COVID op. As the Americans learned so painfully in Earth's final century, free flow of information is the only safeguard against tyranny. The once-chained people whose leaders at last lose their grip on information flow will soon burst with freedom and vitality, but the free nation gradually constricting its grip on public discourse has begun its rapid slide into despotism. Beware of he who would deny you access to information, for in his heart he dreams himself your master. Posted by: 18-1 at February 20, 2025 11:17 PM (t0Rmr) 237

How many of us are here tonite because of high standards of excellence in design, materials, construction? Our apartment building didn’t collapse because the cement contractor was cutting corners. Or a bridge collapse. Or Carbon monoxide poisoning. Or food safety standards, or medical malpractice. It’s impossible to prove a negative.
But we hear about atrocities all the time in other countries, things that would have been unthinkable here. A bus full of about 30 passengers plunged about 2000 feet off a cliff in Bolivia recently. Life is cheap in many countries. America was different, they would turn a battleship around to try and save a man overboard. The Soviets never did that. The attitude in many Moslem countries, I’m told, is a kind of fatalism. “Whatever” Posted by: Common Tater at February 20, 2025 11:19 PM (gpdYK) 247
OK, I think I can do math, but can this be right?
How many US taxpayers are there? Maybe 100M? 200M? So if all of them get $5k, doesn't that come out to somewhere around $0.5T to $1T? That's an unimaginable amount of money, and large fraction of the whole government budget, isn't it? And if that's 20% of the money saved by DOGE, wouldn't that mean that DOGE has saved $2.5T to $5T? I expect the amount they can ultimately save to be huge, but it seems a stretch for it to be THAT huge. It doesn't seem to be adding up, to me. I firmly believe Hanks' 'Bosom Buddies' role was part of the Hollywood ritual of humiliation. Katt Williams, a black comedian, talks about this. Having men dress in woman's clothes to get a shot at roles. That's a pretty recent trend, 'Some Like It Hot' notwithstanding.

George and Jack are in line as she comes down the line. George whispers to Jack, "Jack, whatever you do, don't laugh when the Queen speaks to you. That would be really bad." Yes. The whole movie was just a savage take-down of the 60s counter-culture. The left-wing hippie bozo smacks Jennie around and blames “..this war and that lying son of a bitch, Johnson!” It’s the perfect on-screen representation of the same exact attitude some TDS sufferers have. “I’m hateful to people around me, because the President is a bad guy!” The punchline is that Jennie is dumber than a literal retard, as she pursues hedonistic self-destruction. Southern accent is always the bad guy or gal on the radio version of Gunsmoke. Always, with one exception. Chester. But, he’s an idiot, or newr enough.
John Dehner was a shakesperean style actor who could effect many different accents. He particularly liked to play a Brit accent, but he also could do the Hillbilly hick, sounded like he had rocks in his mouth. Even in the early 1950s, Indians were always good on this show, and Southerners always unreconstructed hicks, confederates, or extreme religious nutbars. Political correctness was common. Dillon did kill someone every episode, so he was a little teched in the head. Posted by: Common Tater at February 20, 2025 11:45 PM (gpdYK) 323

With Zatarains, I've been known to add additional beans because, as you say, there aren't enough. But then I can make more rice, add my beans and seasoning and I'll have more food for the money. I'm becoming a real cheap 'cook it at home' bastard. I even have a recipe for my own Rice-A-Roni, and it's good. Lots of ingredients, though, dried herbs and spices, along with the fideo pasta and the rice. But with this recipe, you cannot tell the difference. A real 'reverse engineered' recipe. @221 RickZ,
I'd like a photo display with names of 'The Patriot Front'. How many are Feeb recruits? CIs? There's something more with them than just being a joke. I'm betting they were paid by some NGO. It seems like everybody and their cousin are. They can't claw back Tank Abrams' 2M theft? WTF? I guess it's good to be a Dem thief. ****************************************** Would love the truth about "Patriot Front." As far as I'm concerned there isn't shit worth saving in gaza. Just fucking glass the place and win one for humanity.

Amusing to see AOP so accurately describe the sock donner appliance, not knowing it exists.
MiladyJo had those stocking donner thingies after her hip replacements. Grateful to have them (meant I didn't have to help her all the time), and more grateful when she didn't need them anymore. Sure a lot of comments to read through tonight. Maybe some that didn't need me staying up late lurking, but how ya gonna find the nuggets otherwise? Before I sign out, I just want to suggest a new pool: How long before Barron Trump knocks up some young supermodel? I denounce myslef. https://youtu.be/RYbqFgbLfZ0 G'nite, y'all. My history is a bit lacking and confuzzled. What happens if we revert the "Palestinians" back to Ottoman Arabs and put the Turks in charge of Gaza? Posted by: Bilwis Devourer of Innocent Souls, I'm starvin' over here at February 21, 2025 12:59 AM (pIfcn) ============= Well, you'd be skipping an empire (the Brits) to get back to the Ottomans, who were already "the sick man of Europe," so I'm afraid the time for all that has passed any more than you can give Manhattan back to the Lenape, much as I would like to see New York City governed by someone other than the leaders they keep electing. Just in time.
@jenniferzeng97 “On the Chinese internet, many people say similar incidents of collapsing and dying have occurred. Netizens say it feels like the early days of the COVID outbreak again. Some people also say that the sudden collapse and death are caused by a side effect of the vaccine. According to a report by New Tang Dynasty Television (report link in the comments), the pandemic in China is currently worsening, with a surge in severe cases of pneumonia, white lung, and other conditions. People in many areas reveal that all local hospitals and clinics are overcrowded, and people around them are constantly passing away. To ease the pressure on crematoriums, Henan, Anhui, and Jiangxi have quietly allowed earth burials. Residents of Jinzhai County, Lu’an, Anhui, say the mountain villages there have almost become uninhabited zones. Posted by: 13times at February 21, 2025 01:47 AM (Ab1+v) 473

Posted by: Tammy-al Thor --- Neutered and isolated on an island is pretty safe. I did preface it with 'a solution' And I can't think of a more humane and safe way to let them pass into history. There are other, possibly more justifiable ways to eliminate the problem that I would not be opposed. For years I have suggested D-12s blade to blade pressing them into Eqypt. Unless the Jews kill them all or round table of Islam comes up with a plot of land for them it's still my preference. Al Sisi either comes to the table and negotiates his costs or he eats it. The income tax is a penalty on labor which is obviously the dumbest thing you could tax. Do you want your countrymen working to generate goods and services for all or...sitting on their asses?
The one question that no one is asking that is so obvious that makes me crazy. Is how can you tax the labor of people, but businesses get AI labor tax free for all the hours? Why does the government deserve a cut of my labor and not that of AI and robots? The argument being well then that will hinder AI development, but then conversly taxing labor hinders workers. Then they will go on how they are for the working class, etc, etc when logically things are setup to kill it. Posted by: Big D at February 21, 2025 08:43 AM (8VXcy) 498
I like Celebration, but it is exactly what you say it is. Given its distance from Orlando and its proximity to the Disney corridor on US 192, I can't help but wonder how its residents can afford to live there given not a whole lot of high-paying jobs nearby. Pat Schroeder lived there before she died.
