The Morning Report — 2/ 19 /25

ElonAudie.jpg

Good morning kids. Well, here on the Morning Report we ask, or as some of my old classmates from Brooklyn would say, "axe you" the important questions. Such as which is more disturbing?

Anyway, scientists discovered a fungus inside Irish caves that turns cave spiders into zombies.

The Zizians are anything but fun. They’re a transgender murder cult operating across the length and breadth of the nation.

So, Irish zombie spiders or a murderous cult of psychotic perverts. But, as we are fond of saying around here, embrace the power of "and." Zizzian I imagine (having no firsthand knowledge I can assure you!) is the sound that emanates from Anita Dunn's thighs when she's molting or being ravaged by the Gorn.

All of which segues rather nicely into a number of stories that confirm the notion that evil never rests, and despite the miracle of Trump's landslide victory and several weeks now of him delivering bigly on his promises, the forces of Evil are indeed striking back primarily in the courts as we are well aware, since their hold on power is being directly and effectively challenged perhaps for the first time ever. But of course, their unshakeable faith that History (certainly not God as they are Godless heathens in the main) is on their side as the protectors of Democracy, then by any means necessary to preserve, protect and defend their status is acceptable.

So this happened yesterday:

dodge minivan that was destroyed in a fire in a Philadelphia neighborhood Tuesday morning has been identified as a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) vehicle, according to Citizen Alerts, a community-wide emergency notification app.

And I'm sure this is completely coincidental, right?!

Antifa, a violent, so-called anti-fascist group, tweeted out a list of over 1,500 Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents’ identities. The Twitter account “nebraska antifa” sent out a tweet to its followers on Tuesday that linked to the personal information of ICE officers compiled from information found on LinkedIn.

Psaki-psircling back to the Zizzians, they were involved in a shootout in Vermont with ICE agents resulting in the death of an ICE agent.

Youngblut and Bauckholt were members of a radical group whose goals and ideology are a pastiche of new-age nonsense. They call themselves "Zizians" after the nom de guerre of their leader, Jack "Ziz" LaSota, who identifies as a woman. The cult-like group consists of radical vegans who believe that artificial intelligence can end the world.

Maybe they saw the Dodge logo on the van and thought DOGE/MUSK?!

Pam Bondi and assuming he is confirmed, Kash Patel need to go after Antifa, their financiers, splinter groups and every other domestic terror group including BLM, La Gaza (great typo! I meant La Raza-jjs), Mecha and all the others who are the inheritors of the phrase "Armed Militant Wing of the Democrat Party," or the Ku Klux Klan. Yes my dear Leftist followers, you and your party created the KKK as a terrrist organization to thwart reconstruction and integration.

Meanwhile, in the most Jewish section of the most Jewish city on the planet outside of Israel, this shit is still going on:

An anti-Israel protest erupted into violence and mayhem as a swarm of demonstrators flooded a primarily Orthodox Jewish neighborhood in Brooklyn on Tuesday night. One person was arrested after dozens of agitators chanting “Zionists go to hell” and waving Palestinian flags descended on Borough Park to protest a real estate event, according to police and reports. . . Bronx Rep. Ritchie Torres (D-NY) blasted protesters for targeting Borough Park “simply because it is Jewish.” “It should come as a shock to no one that the pro-Hamas mob targeting Jews and promising to ‘flood’ Boro Park has descended into violence,” he posted to X Tuesday night. “Violence is not a bug but a feature of the so-called ‘Free Palestine’ movement, which has no desire to free Palestinians from Hamas.”

The ACLU was unavailable for comment having recently disposed of their swastika armbands they had leftover from Skokie 1977.

Well there's law fare and then there's law enforcement induced anarcho-terrorism:

Reputed Tren de Aragua gangsters nabbed in NYC felony drug raid — only to be cut loose with a slap on the wrist

Every DA's office in the nation that does this needs to be shuttered, the DA's that do this ejected and perhaps arrested. And dear Lord it's high time Soros and his entire criminal seditious treasonous enterprise gets the living shit RICO'd out of it.

And lastly, a quick shout-out and thank you for your continued support in hitting our tip jar. It truly is appreciated more than you can know.

Seems unlikely although I've watched some regular Europeans reacting to it and at various points they'll say something like "that can't be true" - pause to research - "OMG, it's true". I imagine it'll erode a bit of support from the pro-totalitarian forces within Europe which will make them clamp down harder - an action which has always worked flawlessly in the past - and the cycle will continue.

34 Musk later posted that “it would be cool to do a live video walkthrough of Fort Knox!” In response, Senator Mike Lee (R-Utah) revealed that he has repeatedly been denied access to Fort Knox, despite being allowed onto all other military bases as a U.S. Senator. Musk responded to Senator Lee’s post asking “who is confirming that gold wasn’t stolen from Fort Knox?” (He can hire Pussy Galore's Flying Circus to do a fly by! - jjs)

I recall reading somewhere that the true reason no-one is allowed inside Knox is because there's hardly any gold in the place at all, and the government doesn't want anyone to know it.

48 Ft. Knox

The gold stash at the Kentucky base was last audited on Sept. 23, 1974. Whether you can actually call it an “audit” is another story.
In 1974, WCPO anchor Al Schottelkotte got a rare look inside a gold vault at Fort Knox, Kentucky.
At the time, the U.S. Treasury opened one of its 15 vaults at the Army base south of Louisville. Politicians and reporters were allowed in for two hours and reportedly saw 6% of America’s gold holdings.
“Adding to the complete farce, none of the bars being passed around for the cameras were matched to a serial number, assayed or tested for purity, or even verified as U.S. holdings – as foreign countries have previously stored their gold at Fort Knox as well,” Zero Hedge noted.
In the 50 years since, the Treasury carries out what it calls annual “vault seal checks.”
As Zero Hedge pointed out, those checks “don’t actually analyze the gold.”

Today's NY Post headline is great, a picture of Hochul and the caption "Fraidy Cat". Michael Goodwin's column accompanying it is perfect. Not only a near pogrom in Boro Park, but a strike by prison guards, a possible attempt to kiss the hardcore let's butt by getting rid of Adams and budget spiraling out of control.

79 The bars are all ninety per cent pure “coin melt” and would not serve as good delivery for futures contracts. If they sold them off over the years, or gave them away, they have long been refined into .999 bars.

The problem arose in 1968 when Treasury was unable to defend the statutory $35 an ounce price. Gold was illegal or near enough for Americans, though not foreign central banks, who could exchange their dollars for gold and vice versa. Naturally the exchange only went one way. DeGaulle sent a battleship to pick gold up. Ft. Knox was being emptied. That’s why Nixon had no choice but to abandon convertibility.

Currencies allowed to “float”. And that boys and girls, is how the dollar became the reserve currency- it was as good as gold. Except, now it isn’t.

Morning, sir! I saw video of the landing at YYZ and it sure looked like they came in hot and right wing down. Figure they were carrying 1/2 the crosswind component on top of the normal approach speed and top ball to align with the cross wind. I wonder if the rate of descent was excessive and the gear collapsed either from that, or the sudden change of alignment when the aircraft touched down. At any rate, it was good to see everyone got out alive.

But purely from a standpoint of their precious optics, this is a bad look. Voters said a few things loud and clear recently, namely that they are sick and tired of the bullshit lawfare, the illegal immigration, and the widespread corruption.

So turning around and saying "we are going to use a bunch of bullshit lawfare to keep the corruption and immigration going, and BTW, TdA's Mayan street soldiers get a pass on all the laws" probably isn't making a great impression on people.

In recent days, in private meetings with their Romanian counterparts, U.S. officials have focused almost exclusively on the vote, warning Romanian officials not to block the candidacy of Georgescu, a Trump supporter who has criticized NATO and praised Vladimir Putin, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the discussions who spoke on condition of anonymity.

152 The entire purpose for propaganda and gaslighting is often to make the enemy appear far larger and more powerful than it really is, and conversely to demoralize. This has been going on for decades.

There is no support for all the nonsense being foisted on the American people, there never was. But copious amounts of $$, a corrupt judiciary, parlor tricks, bullshit “polls” and lawfare they were able to jam a lot of stuff through. That’s what all those “think tanks” have been doing. And ballot box stuffing. The “arc of history” just wasn’t moving fast enough, you see. And the White House flipping back and forth will never do, either.

Permanent One party rule. Like California.

156 Trump signs bombshell executive order to make himself the most powerful president in history as he enacts controversial Constitutional theory

Donald Trump signed an executive order on Tuesday that could make him the most powerful president in history by using an obscure Constitutional theory to enact his vision of authority.

The new order seeks to 'rein in independent agencies' by seizing various departments that normally act in accordance with Congress, bringing them under control of the executive branch in the White House.

The order reiterates that 'all executive power is vested in the President', and he and attorney general will interpret the law, leaving Trump free from Congressional and judicial oversight.

The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) pledged to “simplify” the federal government’s credit card program on Tuesday which cost taxpayers nearly $40 billion last year. “The US government currently has ~4.6M active credit cards/accounts, which processed ~90M unique transactions for ~$40B of spend in FY24,” read an X post from the cost-cutting initiative’s official account. “DOGE is working w/ the agencies to simplify the program and reduce admin costs,” the group added. They need to graph and chart the payments that had TAS and the payments that did not. A simple combined bar chart would show TAS existing, and then the time the missing ones ballooned. And the balloon is your timeframe for when that policy to cheat the citizens of the USA of their money.

Someone had to instruct someone to remove that requirement. Someone had to give the stand-down order when concerns were raised. That point where the non-TAS payments started to swell is when you need to investigate. Find out who stopped the requirement. Find out how many bricks of the law to drop on them.

And now, without any notice whatsoever, Carlos and his two assistants have simply vanished...we became concerned. Calls to his telephone number first went unanswered, then were met with a full mailbox notification.

I don't know the immigration status of our gardener but he did not show up last Friday. I attributed it to the rain the night before. I really hope he is OK.

First world problems. He seems to care less for the man, and more about not having his lawn "the envy of the block".

you missed the point entirely. You can't have sympathy for someone whose entire life has been upended because he works for someone who can afford to pay for the work he does? That's quite the neat trick. That way you don't need to care about anyone.

OP his words carefully to keeo himself out of the way of what he felt was someone else's story. Like an actor who works hard not to steal another actor's scene.

NSF union asks for information on pending dismissals

In anticipation of mass firings this week, the union representing more than 1000 employees at the National Science Foundation (NSF) today asked the agency to explain how it is implementing the Trump’s administration order to shrink the federal workforce by dismissing those designated as probationary employees.

“Put us out of our agony,” says one NSF employee who received the 17 February letter sent by Local 3403 of the American Federation of Government Employees to NSF Director Sethuraman Panchanathan. “If you are going to fire us, let us know.”

The letter, shared with Science, asks Panchanathan for the criteria the agency used to draw up a pool of those eligible to be fired under a 20 January memo from the White House Office of Personnel Management.

At Interior Department, layoffs shock new scientists hoping for a secure career of service

As the Trump administration unleashed a wave of firing today across U.S. research agencies, targeting mainly probationary workers, ScienceInsider spoke with two scientists at agencies in the U.S. Department of the Interior who are losing their jobs. A postdoc who started a position at the U.S. Geological Survey last year got a call from their center director today, telling them that they would be laid off by the end of the day. “He broke the news and wanted to do it himself,” they say. The ecologist says it was a shock, but not completely unexpected. They also consider themselves relatively lucky, because their spouse is employed and they didn’t have to relocate for their postdoc. “I’m aware of some others who moved cross-country and started positions only to have just gotten the news. … It’s really hard.”

304 Funniest stories I've read so far:

1) AP wants you to know Zelensky saying Trump is falling for Russian disinformation. Dumbass is trapped in 2020, ain't he?

2) ABC cries that 3 Venezuelans TdA illegals, who filed a motion to prevent them from being transferred to Gitmo, after a year in US prison, won and got an order preventing them from going to Gitmo.
So Trump sent them back to Venezuela the next day.
LOL, fucking hilarious.
And the whinings of their bleeding-heart lying bitch lawyer are pure nectar.

Scientists want to kick Musk out of Royal Society

Billionaire Elon Musk has been a lightning rod for criticism in the United States for anti-DEI posts on his social media platform X and his DOGE work for President Donald Trump, which may end up gutting U.S. science agencies and has disrupted foreign aid for global clinical research. But his actions also aren’t playing well across the pond.

>> DOGE is just finding it. I don't think the affected departments have done anything yet.

So that money is just being impounded which will be challenged in court, Trump/Musk need to send all of those budget cuts back to congress in a recision request, all they need would be a simple majority to pass.

Otherwise, the money is still on the books and can’t come off the debt.

311 One of India’s leading companies has dodged U.S. visa laws to sneak more Indian migrants into the white collar jobs needed by U.S. graduates, according to three lawsuits described by Bloomberg.com.

The Indian company, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd (TCS) allegedly imported roughly 6,500 visa workers via the poorly supervised L-1A program for foreign managers after it used up its share of visas for the better-known H-1B program for foreign workers, according to the article.

Posted by: SMOD at February 19, 2025 09:38 AM (RHGPo)

312 An L-1A visa is a visa for non-immigrant foreign executives or managers who are being transferred to their company's U.S. offices. L-1 visas are for intracompany transfer and allow U.S. employers to move an employee in a manager or executive position to an affiliate office in the U.S.

314 Wow, that’s weird. How can anyone hate cheese?
Posted by: Bulg at February 19, 2025 08:58 AM (77rzZ)

Richard Hoyt's spy novel The Dragon Portfolio has a Chinese salesman character who goes on a multi-page internal rant about how revolting cheese is (described as spoiled milk goop, if I remember correctly). And even worse is that every time he deals with Westerners, they serve him high-end cheese as snacks during negotiations. And being a skilled salesman, he has to smile and fake being a cheeseophile in front of the gweilo barbarians..

In part & also the closing paragraph of the article: “People are not coming because there is no path to asylum. Trump said MPP (Migrant Protection Protocols) would be back, but it is not,” Fierro said. “What most people want is not MPP but something like CBP One that will let them in immediately. Being called and then made to wait in Mexico is not very favorable for them.

“As soon as we have that, we will see the flow (of migrants) we were expecting.”

>Phillyburbs dot com: Firefighters are still working to extinguish the SPS Technologies fire in Jenkintown

SPS Technologies manufactures metal equipment for the aerospace industry and other sectors, including the military. The company sits on 32 acres & is more than 100 years old. And, yeah, it doesn't just use H2O in its manufacturing processes but a fire of that magnitude would be rather unexpected, I imagine.

317 A personal favorite: Daily Times, ‘Rumble for our rights’: In Media, Democrats rally against Trump moves and plans, by Alex Rose, Feb. 17, 2025

In part, "The event was emceed by former state representative candidate and Democratic activist Cathy Spahr, and featured speakers including U.S. Rep. Mary Gay Scanlon, D-5, Swarthmore; as well as Pennsylvania House Speaker Joanna McClinton, D-191, Delaware and Philadelphia; DNC Vice Chair Malcolm Kenyatta, D-181, Philadelphia, and numerous other local elected representatives.

Many of the speakers expressed concerns about any plans to cut or curtail programs like Medicaid and veterans’ benefits, or even the proposed elimination of entire departments like the Department of Education.

They were met with full-throated support from the crowd, which often chimed in with comments about neo-Nazis, chants that Republican elected officials were “cowards” and suggestions that billionaire Elon Musk should be deported, preferably to Mars.

“We’ve seen a whole parade of autocratic, authoritarian horribles coming from our very own White House,” said Scanlon. (Continued)

318 “… This is a coordinated effort to undo decades of progress, to undermine personal freedoms and to fundamentally shift the role of the government to enriching billionaires.”

Side note: Mary Gay Scalon, Pro Bona Counsel of Ballard Spahr where hubby also served as managing partner. Maybe not a billionaire but... 🤫 She always seems her very best in the thick of protesters, whether those middle & old age loons or BLM.

Texas measles outbreak nears 60 cases, most in unvaccinated children

A small part, "Measles is surging globally. According to a joint report from the CDC and WHO, there was a 20% increase in cases in 2023. Measles is one of the most contagious infectious diseases, with the virus that causes it capable of living in the air of a room for up to 2 hours after an infected person leaves, according to the CDC.

Kindergarten vaccine exemptions are on the rise across the United States, exceeding 3% nationally during the 2023-2024 school year, according to CDC data."
