Shock of Shocks: Liberal Women Are the Loneliest Women in the World
It would take a heart of stone not to laugh.
Liberal women are the least likely to report being fully satisfied with their lives and are far more likely to report feeling lonely often, according to analysis from a recently published poll. The 2024 American Family Survey reportedly found that 37% of conservative women and 28% of moderate women, between the ages of 18-40, reported being "completely satisfied" with their lives, but just 12% of liberal women in the same age group said the same. Liberal women were also nearly three times more likely than conservative women to say they experienced loneliness at least a few times a week. Brad Wilcox, a sociology professor at the University of Virginia and fellow at the Institute for Family Studies who analyzed the survey's data, said he believes there are a couple of reasons why conservative young women are more likely to be happier than their liberal counterparts. "We've seen in the research that conservative women tend to be more likely to embrace a sense of agency and to have the sense that they are not, in any way, the victim of larger structural realities or forces," he told Fox News Digital. "They're also less likely to catastrophize about public events and concerns," and "more likely to think of themselves as captains of their own fate," Wilcox added. ... Wilcox also broke down the poll by the relationship status of the women surveyed. According to his analysis, 40% of liberal women reported being single, while 31% said they were married. For conservative women, 33% reported being single and 51% were married. The 2024 poll was released in early February 2025, and conducted Aug. 22-29, 2024, by YouGov for Deseret News and the Center for the Study of Elections and Democracy at Brigham Young University.On the other hand: if I can speak broadly for a moment, while acknowledging this rule is not absolute and there is a lot of variability in women, women tend to more influenced by groupthink and collective "norms" then men. When a social convention is established by "authorities," whoever that may be, women tend to follow those conventions. Men tend to be more inclined to rebel. Liberal women are, of course, the biggest group-thinkers of all women. My point is: Most liberal women didn't entirely choose an ideology that makes them alone and unloved and bitter. There is a cadre of tastemakers and culture warriors (much of those being liberal women in positions of power and influence) who have declared venomous Eternal Sex War Politics to be virtuous and beyond debate. Most liberal women didn't really choose this; they choose only to be conventional, and the women and gay dudes who determine what feminine culture are have set this as their conventions. On the other hand, women, and even liberal women, shouldn't be infantalized. They make their own decision. They continue choosing extremely stupid, toxic, and self-defeating "norms" to believe in and champion with the zealotry of a jihadist. That's on them. No one can be cured of ignorance by someone else. It's up to everyone to cure his or her own ignorance.

Marriage rates have supposedly increased in the last few years. I don't believe that. I think it's a complicated set of statistics to make sense of. It's not just whether Dude X and Dudette Y will get married or not. It's also at what age. Seems obvious to me that people are getting married much later in life than the last generation.

Basically. There's almost a Pareto distribution on women and men having sex. The same percentage or higher of women are having sex whole a much smaller percentage of men are getting any because the same 80-90% of single women are getting boned by the same 10-20% of men. I think some of the stats indicate there are more male virgins and celibates than ever within the prime boning age cohort. It's not a good trend.

Wife spent some time neglecting her cat when we were dating. She would stay at my place for days at a time while the roommates living in her house took care of the cat. When she'd come back, the cat would go into her duffel bag, smell me, and piss on her clothes.
We moved in together, and eventually, so did the cat. He would separate my clothes out on laundry day and piss on them.
I grabbed him, rubbed his face in it, then threw him in the washer with the clothes, shut the lid and pull the knob to start the wash cycle. I'd let the tub fill for a minute, then open the lid.
He didn't piss on my clothes after that. Wife got concerned after she didn't see him the 2nd day and wondered where he went. She found him, eventually.

I think you're missing my point on how elements that grew up within liberal-ISM created an Unconstrained Vision that merge in with the Marxian-theory's Unconstrained Vision.
Through Mill's Utilitarianism (early 19th century) which gave us Pareto Scoring in the 20th century which was the secular calculus of "rational politics".
However, the right of the people to agree that we let women walk away from the responsibility pregnancy poses, and whether a woman has an absolute right based on personal autonomy (because she just SHOULD HAVE) are two different proposals.

I said nothing about males happiness. I said they make more married than single and they have a higher net worth. Both of which are true. If they get divorced, they are no longer married.
Women are always looking to secure resources, which is why they try to marry up. Men are driven to make offspring. Society developed to make them care about them once they did that. That's why as society disintegrated so many men don't give a rats ass about their kids.

Looks, weight, and pleasantness. The jobs, accomplishments, money, can be nice, but a man isn't seeking resources from a woman. Assuming a six figure male, an attractive cashier at Wendys has a better chance to be a wife than an average looking $100K/year female attorney.

Women have a biological imperative to follow power, not resist it or seek to seize it, like men.
Let's say the Republicans were the dominant political force for the last century instead of Democrats - not the supine gamma Party who everyone ridicules, laughs at and spits on because they're so weak.
If women perceived that Republican affiliation conferred wealth, status, and power, they'd vote that way. It has nothing to do with any policies or "norms." Just who has control of the society and makes them feel like protected insiders.

"Equality of the sexes" has been an absolute failure.
There is no well-defined "human equality". "Human equality" is simply the suspension of an "ordering system" (which numbers have).
"Equal under law" is as definable as the laws, though. Thus it makes sense that we will not treat one ethnicity different from another ethnicity.
However, we have laws for the sexual function of men and we have laws for the sexual function of women.
Trying to force that "disparate outcomes" is something we always have to force the other way--especially regarding sexes--has also been disastrous.
Even though it's not a bad practice to ignore sex where the law does not at all touch on sex.

I think the groupthink evolutionarily comes from the social roles. Women lived in the village, lots of the work needed working in groups, they had less ability to escape from it. In war and crisis or marriage, they might be carried to another village and again being accepted quickly was a survival trait.
Men could work on their own to tend fields, or hunt. Things that needed groups of men critically need hierarchies of skills and decisions made without time to discuss so men can spontaneously create leaders and follow them willingly with less fuss.

Men traditionally need the money to get a family and kids. The wife has to be supported to birth and raise them. There have always been a segment of society of men that did not prioritize the family - military non officers, sailors and the like.
