EPA Chief Lee Zeldin Is Clawing Back $20 Billion in "Gold Bars" "Pushed Off the Titanic" in the Last Days of the Biden Usurpation

You may remember that James O'Keefe caught a Deep State Operative openly bragging that he and his palz were just throwing taxpayer money to Biden's cronies as the Usurpation came to a close. He was frank in admitting that they weren't checking to see if these were meritorious transfers -- they just wanted to give away taxpayer money to whoever so that Trump could not exercise any judgment about it.

He called it an "insurance policy" against Trump winning.

Hmmm, where have I heard that exact language before?

The EPA chief Lee Zeldin is now clawing that $20 billion in embezzled taxpayer monies back.

Zeldin says the "scheme" was designed to "obligate" those yet-unobligated funds. The money was given to Biden's palz in the Green New Grift industry. Just eight "NGOs" received this $20 billion in "gold bars."

As people keep pointing out, if a "Non-Governmental Organization" is entirely dependent on government funding to function, it is not a non- governmental organization. It's a government organization being used by the government as a cut-out to do things it itself is legally barred from doing.

David Strom:

The massive scale of this scam--which as with so many things is SOP at government agencies--blows your mind. Pushing $20 billion out the door to friends of the administration with little to no financial controls, zero accountability, and lots of malice aforethought is only different in scale and not in kind.

What IS different is that somebody is doing something about it. $20 billion is such a large amount of money that it was traceable, and Zeldin actually bothered to trace it and claw it back.

No doubt there will be lawsuits and a tug of war between the feds and the NGOs, but those lawsuits will be quite instructive. There will be discovery that will open up the books of the NGOs, showing the American people how the sausage is made and that the meat inside is rotten.

The scams, the revolving door, the massive skimming. The "green banks" funding projects that never get off the ground cost enormous amounts of money without achieving any discernible goal, and the massive salaries for managers of these projects. You will find out that politically connected people all have ties in some form or fashion to the dollars going out the door.

...

This is why Trump has been the object of so much slander and hate. He is defunding the ruling class, cutting the transnational elite off of its funding stream, and set to cripple a class of people who have assumed they have the right to rule and get rich off of us.

$20 billion. At one agency. Spent in weeks. With no accountability and no stated goals beyond vague promises of doing good.

Democrats are fighting this because this turns out to be the secret of how they all get rich on $140,000 per year salaries. They are giving away taxpayer monies to their well-heeled tax parasite friends, who then kickback massive sums to them.

This is an existential crisis for them. They will be exposed and they will be prosecuted.

That's why they're shrieking to shut down the investigations and audits. Prison lies at the end of this.

I think we are just about to see a bunch of leftwingers going public with their complaint that you just can't live off of $140k/year with these prices anymore and therefore they need their grift.

Agreed, and I think it bears repeating.

Every single tax payer in the US not connected to the Deep State has been fucked over by the actions of the Deep State. Manufacturing outsourced, mass immigration to replace both blue and white collar jobs, unfair trade practices, oh and the direct pilfering of the treasury to enrich themselves, their cronies, and their deep state masters.

People's entire lives have been ruined because of this. People have died deaths of despair because of this -- suicide, addiction, etc.

Meanwhile, these cretins have been laughing behind our backs while they rob us blind and live the high life.

I don't know what the appropriate punishment for this is, or if anyone will ever be punished, but it's hard to look at this as anything other than evil.

THIS. This is what the left has been doing for years. The Gov't can't legally snoop in on all of us, so they use other entities to do the work for them. It's how they funded their mis-dis-mal-information campaigns. They use foreign entities to snoop on us domestically, and use domestic companies to snoop on us domestically.

102 F*cking money laundering. One of the recipients of the windfall was "United Climate Fund." They got a whopping $7Billion.

So, you ask yourself, what is a Fund going to do with $7Billion. Well, they are the lynchpin that takes public moneys and turns it into private funds. Because they are:

"Climate United is a national coalition of non-profits investing in solutions that tackle America's toughest economic and environmental problems."

So, by taking this money and spreading it out in Non-profits, it now becomes private money. You can bet the head of each of these non-profits gets a nice slice of it as their salary, as do other representatives of each non-profit. Then, they are free to pass on undisclosed amounts as campaign contributions, or outright under the table payments,....or one of Biden's favorites....Loans (which never get paid back btw).

I saw a claim that 90% of USAID spending stayed right in the Washington DC metro area. Spending $200,000 on a transgender play in Bolivia involved paying $20,000 to the Bolivians to do it, and pocketing the other $180,000.

Current AI is changing that. Musk and DOGE and other investigators are using AI to comb through millions of documents and find all those threads that used to take dozens of talented people years to uncover.

They did the same thing with the massive budget bill and I don't think DC has still fully come to terms with what happened. People were posting all kinds of BS from the bill that previously only a few think-tanks would have found in the past, well after the bill had passed.

There was a report of an anti-Trump protest at the Oregon state capitol.

Sylecia Johnston was among more than 500 people who took part in the 50501 movement–50 states, 50 protests, one day–on February 5 at the Capitol in Salem.

“I lost my job when the Trump administration shut down USAID,” Johnston, a protester from Portland said.
...
Johnston, who works for a small private firm that relies on USAID, suggested cutting staff or resources at USAID or any other federal agencies would have adverse effects.

“They’re saying they’re doing this to make America safer, but I can guarantee you the shutdown of USAID is making China and Russia stronger, and America weaker. I saw it firsthand in developing nations. This is just kinda the line for me. I’m also a Jewish American and was raised to be anti-fascist and to call out Nazis whenever I see them.”

One time I felt something on my leg and looked down to find..... Hey guys! What is that? No one knew. We went to the house and asked Mamamayhem. She said don't mess with it, just sit down on the porch. Sitting on the porch both of the Things poked at the slimy critter and wondered how it was holding on. Mama came out with a box of salt and poured it on the critter which immediately let go and tried to get away. Mom grabbed it, gave it to Thing One and said go throw it in the weeds. Mom pressed some paper towel against my leg and there was blood!! I asked did it bite me and she explained that it was a leech and what leeches are and what they do.

Trump is pouring a fuck ton of salt on the DC leeches.

301 Democrats are fighting this because this turns out to be the secret of how they all get rich on $140,000 per year salaries. They are giving away taxpayer monies to their well-heeled tax parasite friends, who then kickback massive sums to them.

This is an existential crisis for them. They will be exposed and they will be prosecuted.

I've said it before and I'll say it again:

The is the Second American Revolution.

The "liberal" leftist" "elite" Have grown like a massive tumor on the body of the American People, for so long, and gotten so enormous, that it is and has been draining the lifeblood out ofn the nation for decades. American is like a cheetah infested with so many ticks and fleas and intestinal works that all of its nutrients go to feed the parasites, but not to make its own body function and thrive. Now the cheetah drags itself around the savannah barely able to stand, and would have soon died.

But trump is de-parasiting the nation. Once all our nutrients (i.e federal revenue) once again start going to feed the actual body itself, the cheetah-America will explode into action, otrace everythingl and dominate the svahannah-globe.

303 They did the same thing with the massive budget bill and I don't think DC has still fully come to terms with what happened. People were posting all kinds of BS from the bill that previously only a few think-tanks would have found in the past, well after the bill had passed.
Posted by: bonhomme
------
On federal spending bills, part of the problem is that unless you deal with the provisions in federal law in an area all day long, alterations to various subsections, etc. become impossible to do by humans in the short amount of time that these bills are submitted before passage.

An AI trained on past government expenditure and US code data can spot patterns that humans simply are not able to do in the short amount of time available.

The Continuing Resolution bureaucratese in this case has met its match with AI Transparency.

There will have to be new scams invented to circumvent that. Senate Intel committee, for example, floated closed hearings for Tulsi and even a 'secret' vote. My guess is that the Congress critters try to go black budget with a lot of items if they can get away with it.

The grant was originally awarded in April of 2024, and announced by Kamala Harris:

The really strange thing is these entities are 501 C-3 subsidiaries of For Profit entities largely involved in building low income housing.

What does the EPA have to do with low income housing and why give $7 Billion to, essentially, commercial enterprises?

314 I'm still hunting for that Tucker Carlson interview where he talks about how he and his wife used to go to these Beltway parties of friends and neighbors. Many of them were Republicans, but whenever his wife would bring up the fact that she liked Trump and thought he would be good for the country, the parties would get dead silent.

He said he could never understand why they were so opposed. Then, he said, it dawned on him that these people didn't care one lick about Trump's policies. They were worried about losing their nest egg, and were truly worried about going to jail for corruption.

The interview was during the campaign...it might have been the lead up to his interview with Trump right after the Garbage truck stuff. I can't remember of find it anywhere.

And here I'd say...no. The government has some authority to change the names of regions - you can point to endless such changes in the US and abroad that generally don't merit much concern...until of course Trump did it.

But the pronoun stuff? The government does not have the right to change the language. So forcing people to use custom pronouns is a flat out example of government force for the intent of pushing an ideological bent - and a perverted groomer one at that

Yes, this is a good illustration of what an AI can do, a bill that alters and makes reference to an existing law or statute will not be immediately clear but you could use an AI to show the connections and changes, for instance you could ask the AI to list all of the items in this bill that alter already existing laws, statutes or regulations, now list the existing laws and the alterations in tabular format and put them all into a excel file or pdf.

401 If inflation is a problem, the spending LESS Gov't money is the right direction.
Posted by: jim (in Kalifornia) at February 13, 2025 03:09 PM (ynpvh)

Inflation is caused by increasing the money supply faster than true economic growth (ie goods)...

Money is primarily created by Banks doing fractional Lending... which is why the Fed believes that raising interest rates (as it slows borrowing) slows down inflation.

Problem is that for the first time in history, combined Business and personal debt, is LESS than combined US Government debt.... and Government debt borrowing is controlled by politics, not the interest rate.

Add that both business and personal debt loads are so high that people MUST borrow... and the Fed control of interest rates no longer has really controls inflation.

We need economic growth to control inflation, which higher interest rates actually impedes.

Maybe, but this isn't "single leger accounting." All the money funneled to corruption that's now being exposed was taken from some other source.

The overall amount of money won't be reduced. It'll just be (hopefully) returned to where it should have been in the first place.

The exemption would be if a lot of this money was borrowed. But even then, that's just postponing the inevitable.

452 The thing keeping a hefty part of this economy afloat may have been corruption.

It always takes time for other economic activity to fill in.

Posted by: Axeman

Here's the thing...that's not the same economy the rest of us are, not entirely. Yes, there were common portions, but mostly all that wealth never had much impact on the rest of us.

So yes, that part of the economy will come crashing down to Earth, like Icarus with his wings gone...but it won't affect the rest of us much. Yeah, they'll scream doomsday numbers, but what we've been seeing day-to-day won't change much, at least not for a while.

If Trump succeeds elite blue regions will see a massive reduction in how much money they have. This will crash local economies in NYC or Boston or whatever.

At the same time the reductions in spending will lower inflation and spur economic growth mostly in red areas.

Posted by: 18-1

Fake GDP growth through fraud simply accelerates inflation because those gubmint dollars are chasing scarce resources just like those of the poor taxpayers not in on the heist.

The closest example is the massive decrease in government spending after WWI ended, US went into a steep drop in GDP beginning in 1919 and almost instantly recovered by 1921 with the Harding Administration keeping and extending the massive government cutbacks. That led to the boom in the 20's.

525 501 My prediction: Not much. What I think will have a yuge effect is that this is starving the ravenous gluttonous infernal beast that funds almost all leftwing activity. USAID alone was laundering BILLIONS back to Democraps. A big portion was being used for campaign funding, GOTV, and other election efforts.

That's all gone now. Democraps can't even afford to pay their rent-a-mobs any more. By the time Trusk is done with them, they won't be able to pay a filthy college drop-out to hand out campaign buttons down by the river.

I was actually thinking about elections, not populations...even though I said populations. Read my mind, dammit.

However, the political effect on populations can only be remotely measured by elections (not polls, spit). So, if we see a combination of the last loyalists beginning to peel off naturally combined with massively decreased money spent to ballot harvest and buy votes...

Essentially, I'm thinking that the Democrat Party is suddenly the runt, regional party that Obama made it and hid through government largess to cronies in political reality instead of just real reality.

And every dollar directed away from gubmint and its policies means that we get more efficient private investment rather than malinvestment incentives.

A perfect example is the government and societal waste in promoting electric cars when the market simply was not interested in them. Government CAFE and emissions diktats along with subsidies forced idiotic malinvestment into mobile toxic waste and fire hazards and as a result, tax dollars and private investment money was wasted.

I am loving everything about the new Golden Era, but to see VP Vance, Rubio, the new lovely Press Secretary Karoline smack 'em down with a few calm words is priceless. Every single time. Yet the Dim propaganda mouthpieces have not yet learned. Their hamster wheels spin. They go no where fast in the quicksand of We Are Back, get used to it!

The Dims honestly don't know what hit them on January 20th. Scrambling, screaming, sharting, screeching!!11!!

To see the scrawny and shaky Dim Congress Critters howl in front of the Dept of Education was entertaining. I laugh and laugh and laugh. Shaking their fists. Demanding. Then totally ignored by the security officer standing there calmly, looking docile and calm...when you know he has tasers and batons in his pockets, and could go complete ninja at any second. Ripping off Maxine's wighat and flinging her across the parking lot. Giving Warren a pow wow.

US media business models make no sense. Do they really survive on a few hundred thousand eye balls and Big Pharma commercials?

And as the CIA learned decades ago, it's much cheaper and easier to control a countries media and get the people to support whatever the CIA wants them to support than it is to invade the country or use traditional spy behavior / assassinations to change policy.

Of course they'd do it at home too. Our media are cheap sluts. For, what, a couple hundred million a year, they can control the traditional media and social media algorithms? They'd be crazy not to do it. Especially since it's not their money anyways.

680 Oh, I suspect we will see a recession very much localized to the Delaware / Maryland / Virginia area if the spigots get turned down.

682 The BRICS is an alternate to the SWIFT system and the Petrodollar. It is a payment system that sidesteps the US Treasury's ability to debank countries like they did to Iran and Russia.
It is deadly serious,

It has a major flaw, none of the nations involved really want to take on massive counter deposits of currency from the other countries in BRICs. it has to have some means of resolving currency swap issues which is a lot more difficult than it sounds.

Would be resolved if they all coincide on a currency like the yuan or ruble but then that country would have the curse of being a reserve currency (and destroying its own economic base from it).

683 Until I saw Maxine the other day I thought she was dead. But that was the rep with her braids that were too tight and wore cowboy hats? Dunno. Also don't care.

I don't know whether to rejoice as I can mock her longer being sort of alive, or be bummed out.

She always looks like her upper lip smells like a stairwell in Penn Station NYC. Or worse!

Or maybe her wighat stinks. Heaven knows what goes on under that wighat, the dance of the head lice sonata.

I was once sadly in the stairwell at Penn Station and it smelled like a port-o-potty from Port au Prince. I have never been to Haiti so I don't know, ask Hilary.

Gee, somehow when you flat out weaponize the banking system, and make it subservient to Foreign Policy, other countries might just create an alternate system!

Who Wood a thunk it!

I like the idea of the chicks with hats. It made me laugh. Thanks for thinking of me. And here is some background on "How Great Thou Art" if you didn't know it.
