Cygnus Poll: Trump Has 42% Approval... From Black Men

The headline says this "dooms" the Democrats, which seems accurate.

President Donald Trump has Democrats on the ropes with his surging support from African Americans, prompting a poll to declare that "black men love Trump."

In a new Cygnal survey shared with Secrets, Trump has a shocking 42% approval rating from black men, a massive edge over any past Republican president.

Brock McCleary, Cygnal vice president of polling, told Secrets, "Forty-two percent of black men approving of Trump's job so far is no small thing. Unlike Democrats' approach previously, this isn't about placation or offering new attractive policies with no follow-through. His popularity and approval surges because he does the things he says he'll do -- and that's a breath of fresh air for everyone."

...

In his elections, he has picked up slightly more black voter support than other Republicans, but since 2020, his support has soared as Democrats have turned uber-liberal on social issues.

That led the Cygnal analysis of its monthly survey to declare, "Black Men Love Trump. The political realignment from November appears to be accelerating as Trump continues to make inroads with historically Dem-leaning constituencies. 42% of black men approve of the job Trump's doing, and 4-in-10 have a favorable opinion of him."

The results match other recent polls, including a John Zogby Strategies survey featured in Secrets that showed the so-called Obama coalition swinging behind Trump.

That isn't the only core group of the Democrat coalition that's abandoning the Marxist party. The CBS poll showing Trump with 53% job approval also showed young voters swinging to Trump.

Voters 18-29 approve of Trump by ten full points, 55% to 45%. This is Trump's second-best age cohort, after only (buffs nails) Gen X, which supports Trump 56% to 44%. Even the Millennials support Trump 52% to 48%.

I'm still not convinced that any returns from major cities or many other locales are real.

Why would we assume they would be? It would be trivially easy for someone to swap out the memory cards on the voting machines with one pre-loaded with the intended outcome.

A little more work with paper ballots, but still very doable.

39 People of all stripes woke, finally, when they saw in print that illegals were getting $1500 a month in NYC. From where? Well, we now know.

The hurricane impact to W NC and E TN woke some others when no help came from the stupid feds. Seeing pack mules delivering medications and food. Reading about FEMA only helping people, barely, who did not have TRUMP signs in their yard in NC an FL. Some woke up after a mere $750 LOAN was offered to the people who had no home, no car and no job...living in tents months later in snow.

Most people, even Dims, no longer rely on the alphabet news but the Internet on their phones. The big lies were starting to crumble even before Trump II was elected.

The Dims stand, and are standing, for LBGQT and freak shows for children. For illegals. For lining their greedy pockets with USAID.

Frankly, my dear, I had never noticed USAID before a few weeks ago. Transparency, a word the Dims fear.

I think it's entirely cultural.

You have blue haired harpy women on one side telling them they should explore their sexuality and try out sucking a dick, and on the other side you have joe rogan types talking about hunting elk and going to the gym 4 times a day, so that they could get strong and disciplined and get girls and better jobs.

You could see which would appeal to 20 year old men more.

I don't know if this is a permanent shift, but it makes sense to me.

If you live in town you're probably hosed but some states (like TX!) have passed laws allowing chickens within city limits, sometimes subject to how each city council decides. To my surprise fkn CO allowed this - at least back in 2017/8 when I checked - but with the bird flu propaganda they may have changed. It's almost always contingent on having only hens, which means you have to find someone selling "sex links" chicks (or autosexing, but those seem to be less common).

I think media has been captured by true believers. Look at the occasional story of the NYT bowing to screaming from 25 year old "journalists". Could that change? I don't know, but 15% of its Class-B shares (which can vote for Class-B Directors) is owned by a guy who made his billions in Mexico and probably has indiscrete ties to the cartels.

Elections...I think we've reached the peak of the current model of Dem cheating. That was 2022. Then the RNC got under new management (fucking finally) and actually started fighting back. I don't see how it gets materially worse again in the near future. Plus, you know, the cash to NGOs that pay for ballot harvesting.

I suspect it's tied to the last five? six? generations of women having to try to pretend to be the dad along with the mother, and raising men that see that behavior and accept it in a mate because it's how momma was/is, too.

Aggression, masculinity, unpleasantness, argumentativeness, quick to anger, immediately loud, etc. are all probably culturally learned behaviors that exist mainly as adaptations and coping mechanisms for broken families and trying to replace the father.

Democratic electoral fraud is legendary. The rule of thumb in the 1960s was any Republican had to make up a million genuine votes just to break even. I very much doubt it has improved.

There is a certain ebb and flow to politics. It just is. After two terms in the WH, voters often give the other team a chance.

The Democrats sought to short-circuit that entirely. The same way economists think they can prevent Recessions, I suppose. They have access to accurate polling, they know the score. Do have to show up, things change, s!&t happens. Nikki Haley was painfully obvious in her role, ready to be air dropped in as the Republican Standard Bearer, once the troublesome Trump was excised

there was a hiring boom for new techs. A good 30 percent of the new hires were young black men. I thought: Oh this is great, they have an entry level job at a good wage, much better than what they'd earn at a fast food joint.

Trump was dicked out of a second term, that company got sold, I've no idea what they're doing now or where those young men ended up.

241 Illegal aliens displace workers from the US. They are not doing jobs that Americans will not do. Americans WILL do those jobs, but employers are cheap and lazy and hire illegals.

Black men are the most displaced in the trades and other building block professions.
Posted by: tina848 at February 12, 2025 01:40 PM (zNWL4)

100%. This was a stupid and, frankly, very racist argument from the beginning.

Believe it or not, there is not something genetically distinct about central americans that makes them want to clean toilets or mow lawns.

The ONLY advantage is that they would work off the books. This meant companies could avoid labor laws and overtime requirements. Ignore OSHA rules. Ignore workers comp and commercial liability insurance, etc. etc.

Plus since these people were largely illiterate in Spanish and did not speak English and were here illegally, the companies know / knew they had them by the balls.

That knocked out two generations of truly upwardly mobile professions (like construction) for American citizens.

There are millions and millions of American kids who grew up in poverty that in an alternative timeline would not have if the illegals were not here.

I say this as one of three boys raised by a single-mom -- and as one of the lucky ones who blessedly somehow (growing up in poverty was quite the incentive) managed to channel my anger and other psychological issues into relatively healthy and productive obsessions -- and over-achieved my little piece of the heretofor vanishing American Dream.

Aggression, masculinity, unpleasantness, argumentativeness, quick to anger, immediately loud, etc. are all probably culturally learned behaviors that exist mainly as adaptations and coping mechanisms for broken families and trying to replace the father.

That’s Judge Roger W. Cocksucker III, from the esteemed Cocksucker political dynasty. Came over on the Mayflower.

In the 19th century Eustace Cocksucker made a fortune importing cravats from France. From 1867 on the Cocksuckers were staunch Massachusetts Republicans and Boston Brahmins in good standing, producing two governors, a half-dozen judges, and founding countless country clubs in the Bay State.

Roger W. Cocksucker III was appointed to the Federal judiciary by his good friend George H.W. Bush, for whom he hosted several fundraisers among New England’s affluent and dandy. Known for his assortment of colorful bowties, there’s nothing else of note about his quarter-century on the bench.

In 2017 the Cocksucker family’s long-standing political orientation was changed from Republican to “Independent.”

Any system for deciding who gets power will be corrupted. The beauty of the American system is that it is in the government's best interest to keep elections relatively fair, because you really can't steal power indefinitely. They need to know that at least enough of the people are on board with the shit they are pulling so that they can keep coasting along in power. Elections aren't just about which asshole gets to be chief asshole, it's a signal to the assholes that they've pushed too far in one direction or another.

300 It's absolutely shocking to me that the Baby Boomer generation is the one that approves of Trump the *least*.

As has been extensively polled, they're the most likely to try and blow all of their money as quickly as possible to prevent their kids from getting any. And thus the most likely to be reliant on Social Security. Most Gen Xers knew SS was a pyramid scheme 40 years ago and planned our lives accordingly, so doing drastic changes to SS to save it doesn't faze us.

He no-joke said "I impale you to call"

I will try to find it. I kept waiting for it to be cut off and move to the real commercial, but no, that was it. I impale you was the actual commercial.

Would love to see him stress more and perhaps propose incentives to help mitigate the greatest cultural tragedy of our age (perhaps with the exception of the abortion holocaust): the absence of fathers in the home (or at least actively participating in their children's lives).

Why? No offense to the Boomers in the Horde, but it's pretty on brand for the most selfish generation in the history of the world.

They don't want any upheavals. And Trump is an upheaval. They want to ride out their dying days living in their 4 bedroom houses they bought for $40k in 1989 but is worth $1.2 million now, living off social security and their savings, and bitching about their property taxes.

So I get it.

But I will cut them some slack in that after years of the Great Depression, fighting a two front world war, then coming home to the only country with a functioning industrial base allowing them to all instantly become middle class -- well, fuck it, they just wanted to hang out and party and were not in the mood to raise kids.

Which is understandable. Regrettable, but I can't really judge. I didn't live through what they did.

- a series of step-fathers
- student loans
- all those icky jobs making things sent to China and replaced with a “service economy”
- liberalization of drugs and sex, along with pop culture glorifying the same
- real estate bubble after real estate bubble
- a psychiatric industry that told them every challenge they faced was due to a pathology that could be cured with lifelong use of prescription drugs

It's not certain that we (conservative/republican/libertarian) have overcome the Tammany syndrome but we are moving away from it bigly, right now. There will be a time when a leader appears for the Dems.

We have two things in our favor; We a genius for a president who has planned and organized for the destruction of the administrative-bureaucrat state. With great humility he has surrounded himself with people smarter and more competent than himself. The other thing is the mass awareness by the voter of the pervasive communist tyranny in the Democrat Party.

436 Since the beginning of recorded time children have rebelled against their parents. Much of that was generally found over time by the children to simply be wisdom and the truth. The problem with a large section of the boomer community is they never grew up to admit their parents were mostly right, nor did they or do they yield to the truth. This makes up the core of today’s Democratic Party. They have no respect for the law, tradition or the truth. They never had and never will. It’s why they’re marching over a cliff. But I will cut them some slack in that after years of the Great Depression, fighting a two front world war, then coming home to the only country with a functioning industrial base allowing them to all instantly become middle class -- well, fuck it, they just wanted to hang out and party and were not in the mood to raise kids.

508 They're half-baked even as generalizations. Things didn't get the way they are because some generation had a plan and executed it. Like is a lot more random than that. We're less in control than we give ourselves credit for.

Sure, but if you look at U.S. history, things started to really go off the rails in the 60s. Drugs, crime, anti-white gay communism popping up everywhere. Terrible music.

The 70s were a continuation in the decline. The 80s were a reprieve in some respects. As a 90s kid, the 90s/00s were pretty fun, but they also saw the hollowing-out of the American economy that made real things, the mainstreaming of gay stuff, the explosion of obesity and chronic disease, lots of divorce, the mass adoption of SSRIs, the start of DEI, and the government becoming a giant racket.

That isn’t the fault of any one generation, but Millennials and Zoomers were just kids during it, so it’s hard to blame them for inheriting a completely sick country.

510 >>>Yeah there are a lot of problems with the boomers, and they rode the wave of hype and media. On the other hand, they gave us Led Zeppelin, the Who, Yes, Genesis, Allman Brothers, The Kinks, Fleetwood Mac, etc etc. They gave us the Space Shuttle, the Internet, the PC, Rush Limbaugh, Donald Trump, and Ronald Reagan.

Like all generations, they're mixed. A lot of bad, a lot of good. The main difference is that they so dominated media that they were super overhyped and brought a lot of stupid baggage like JFK, James Dean, etc.
Posted by: Christopher R Taylor

Point well made but problematic. Boomers had nothing to do with Ronald Reagan except voting him into office, nothing with JFK or James Dean - neither were boomers.

Posted by: runner at February 12, 2025 02:28 PM (g47mK)

Dems were pretty stupid when they had the only major party in the country (Whigs were dead and only won 2 election in a generation and a half) to work frantically to promote both the creation of a new major party AND the splitting of their own, and then a war they couldn't win.

Posted by: Oldcat at February 12, 2025 02:33 PM (n7h9X)

513 Really so there is a division between generations?
Gen Z seems to be blaming Boomers for stuff.
This is not good
Gen Z only knows what they read and see in old videos.

GOD
EDUCATION
WORK ETHIC
MORALS

I remember when THE WHOLE COUNTRY SHUT DOWN EVERY SUNDAY.
The FCC had a STANDARDS BOARD
The US was on the GOLD STANDARD
The Medical Profession was practically prohibited from MAKING A PROFIT
LAWYERS were far and few in between and a LUXURY
High Scools had HOME ECONOMICS for BLUE COLLAR girls and Auto,Wood,Metal,Electric ect Shops for the guys.

plus many many more things that seperate BOOMERS from GENZ'ers
YOU DO NOT KNOW HOW BOOMERS LIVED!

516 To a large degree, I think the movement of younger men to the right is a reflection of their impatience with the bitterly clinging old fossils who now dominate the Dems. Sure, we have our own, but the trio of Pelosi, Schumer, and Biden, is so blatantly dysfunctional, it's hard to ignore. It would be like the Boomer generation in 1968 favoring the music of the Andrews Sisters.

I think a bit more. Life got feminized. School got feminized. Men were like, why should I like that. They cannot find a woman to marry. Women look to uncle sugar to help them out. But men still do the hard, dirty, dangerous jobs that pay more money. And their desire to pay taxes to support women and institutions that work against them is over. That's why they want it cut. Because it doesn't help them.

The greatest were hyped up by boomers I suppose. I study WWII a lot and I still got sick of the crap like that when it came out. The actual "GG" just were trying to get the damn job done. I hate all this named generation stuff, its another wedge pounded in by the deep state to divide the populace.

And in minorities it literally is often short term economically stupid to form an intact family for your kids, so you go out or get forced out. This is known to have bad results for the kids, especially boys.

The first president Boomers could vote for was Nixon.
Before that they were teenagers or younger they had no control of anything. First year college graduation for Boomers was 1968 at best. That's when they entered the work force. That is if they survived Viet Nam.

Problem is, you are blaming the babies for the sins of the fathers and grandfathers. Even the ruffian hippies of the 60s weren't running the country. Their fathers and grandfathers too.

It's a lot like blaming the underclass Irish and Germans and Scots and slaves for the drift to the Civil War. You can make a correlation that vaguely fits but you are doing it by feeling things in a black box.

Posted by: Oldcat at February 12, 2025 02:44 PM (n7h9X)

523 377 A fair majority of the Boomers were responsible for destroying the nuclear family, liberalized drug use, supporting Marxism and greatly increasing the role of government in your life to enforce their shibboleths.

I’ll only leave some room for those who served in Vietnam or supported those who went.

Otherwise the best part of that generation rolled down their moms ass crack.
