Tulsi Gabbard Confirmed as Director of National Intelligence

Great news!

One down, two to go!

It was a vote of 52-48 -- Mitch McConnell was the only "Republican" to cross over and join with his allies the Democrats.

This is huge! The reason we're seeing lawfare on the part of Judges is because the Left is desperate; that's their last line of defenses.

401 Ukraine will get their lands back, and Europe will help protect them. Unfortunate, no membership in NATO, but maybe that will change, fingers crossed. Biden got them all he could before he left—$500 million.

NATO needs to get the USA (fascist dictatorship) OUT. The "new" fascist dictatorship threatens it's own neighbors ffs! Britain and France also have nukes to deter putin (unless he wants to kill the human race on his way down).

I remember something about putin wanting Alaska returned to Russia. Should we let Ukraine fall, so the Russian military can focus its full strength on that endeavor?

Too bad I've paid quarterly estimated income taxes or I wouldn't bother to file this year. I do not want my tax dollars supporting this TSF fascist regime.

We could have convicted the traitor Tuberville of aiding and abetting the enemy for causing the fall of Putin to stumble, when he acted on Trump's behalf to upset the necessary and strategic military command movement of key personnel into key military command positions. I care much less about their budgets than I do about what they've been doing behind the scenes.

My bold prediction: they have been running absolutely everything. Very little is organic. They decide which companies succeed, which fail. Which media / social media gets amplified, which gets turned down.

They as a matter of routine run everything that happens in DC (along with the rest of the deep state) and their finger prints are all over domestic US politics and politics all over the world.

Basically they are the muscle for the "secret societies" etc. that Kennedy was talking about, or the "military industrial complex" from Ike, or the "deep state" (also Ike, I believe, originally), or "the blob" as Obama called it.

This brings up what I think is a major safety issue with Teslas. The doors open by an electric switch. What isn't commonly understood (IMO) is there is a mechanical latch hidden in the armrest. I know this because I carpooled with a lady who owned a Tesla. I didn't know about the mechanical latch either until I looked on-line*. She didn't know about it either.

So I think that's what happened to Mitch's sil - the door was locked, the electricity failed, and she didn't know about the mechanical latch and drowned.

I no longer carpool with my friend but I made sure she knew about, and practiced with the door latch before I left (retired).

If you have loved ones with Teslas you should make sure they know how to get out if the electric fails. Have them practice it because in an accident situation they may panic and not think straight

At one point I felt sorry for him, having polio and all that as a kid. Then I read about his chy knee wife connection and my heart hardened.

He is there for his important nay vote. Like an old flea bitten, sway backed horse, neighing weakly from his wheelchair when prompted. Probably napping and drooling until the prompt. The last whinny of the Old Guard, or it was a fart.

He dreams of the days of power with McCain at his side.Warmongering while lining their pockets with kick backs and increasing their wealth, growing ancient in office. Preaching how THEIR party is the party of being polite, while quietly ripping off American taxpayers with their pork spending.

I guess he will proudly croak one day waiting to nay vote. Then we'll have another state funeral. I guess Miss Lindsey will be passed the baton.

The hotels are fine.

At least in NYC.

They have been almost entirely (if not entirely) funded by the city / state / feds to house homeless and now migrants since covid.

Calling them hotels is a bit of a misnomer. They're the worlds most expensive homeless shelters at this point. Owned, I'm sure, by people well connected to the deep state / ngo complex.

I'm sure with what they've collected from the government in the last 5 years, they can sell the buildings to be demo'ed and still come out far ahead when and if this "crisis" ever ends.

Not to build a business so that you can retire when you're 50, or to improve their family's life or standard of living, but to replace 40 hour weeks with 80 hour weeks because it's what is best for the United States Economic Zone and should be normalized because your American children are required to compete with indentured servants that are just recently removed from defecating in the streets of their home nation.

Mother Russia has bigger issues with the rice-eaters to the south of Siberia - They are resource hungry, would like to have some closer to home, and some lebensraum wouldn't hurt either.

Unsure what deal they brokered for crappy tires and electronics to fight the war, but that bill must be coming due. Plus, the also noted Joe Vodka is being bled white in the muds of the Dnieper river, and running the numbers of what stuff and manpower they have left.

I'll bet Roberts made a call... he is a coward and deathly afraid of taking on Trump in public... especially on a case that would almost certainly take power away from Lower Courts.

IMO if it came down to a showdown between appointed Coward Judges, and just Elected Trump... the Media would totally side with the court, but he people would almost totally be on the side of the President.

Well she used to be, but she lost that by the time she did Batman. What a downgrade from Katie Holmes to Maggie. Yes, she's a better actress but that is not the face that the two richest and most powerful eligible bachelors in Gotham fight over.

I've forgotten what she looked like in Batman, whichever film it was. I think she's aging pretty well. If you moved in next door to a widow who looked like her, you wouldn't turn her away if she showed up with a "welcome to the neighborhood" cake. Eevn if the cake was terrible, there'd still be Maggie.

633 Not to build a business so that you can retire when you're 50, or to improve their family's life or standard of living, but to replace 40 hour weeks with 80 hour weeks because it's what is best for the United States Economic Zone

I've mentioned this before, but in the Christmas H1B blowup it was notable that a fair number of MBAs openly said on X that the US has no culture, it's only a country by virtue of its economy. And so the only consideration on H1Bs is if they help the economy.

I assume they're the same way about illegals.

Motions to reconsider must be made by someone that voted "no" (or were absent). Let's say some group of Republican decides to go off the reservation and scuttle the confirmation. Well, you can spend a day whipping those senators back into shape and do a reconsider motion and get the confirmation anyway.

Why do you think Trump didn't go off at McConnell about the last 'no' vote? Trump is not exactly shy about slamming people. This is strategic(and Trump knows it).
