I love the paintings from this period. The expressions and natural poses of the models catches the viewer's attention while the exquisite level of details compels the eye to examine the painting more thoroughly. Looking at this one I can understand why some of de Keyser's works were attributed to Rembrandt. Turns out that confusion is a compliment to both artists.

AMC doesn't have its own, so it's up to AMC to license where they want. (I'd suspect they demand a lot for the license because it was something of a cultural landmark. If I remember correctly, it was on Netflix for a while.) You can directly rent or buy the show from the normal places like Amazon or Apple. I expect him to continue this in other areas not just foreign affairs. VPs have often been the designated pit bull to deliver blunt messages. We forget this because Harris was incapable of saying anything other than unintelligible word salads. Trump is probably giving Vance every opportunity to make his own case for president in 2028. Since the presidency is primarily a foreign facing job (well, on paper), making Vance a major face of the Trump Doctrine can only do Vance favors...assuming the Trump Doctrine works, of course. 338 Gas tax is simply a tax on users of public roads. EV users are using the toads for free, a subsidy, tax on others.

The rotten fuckers would sooner put a road tax on all household electricity.

Vance also made clear the excuses for starting wars ostensibly "to defend democracy", like in Ukraine, from those who promote old soviet style censorship on their own soil ring very hollow. Uff DA!

I'd forgotten; that first batch of Trump appointments was probably the most disloyal and traiterous cabinet that any President ever has appointed. What a disaster!

Posted by: Tom Servo at February 14, 2025 10:52 AM (wyMQY) He listened to his advisors and didn't really grasp how deep the deep state was. He's experienced this go around and is kicking ass of the names he took last time. Posted by: Sponge - F*ck Cancer at February 14, 2025 10:56 AM (Zz0t1) Lincoln's cabinet, while not disloyal, were very dismissive of the President, and thought he was a rube, an outsider, and a lot of them believed they could run the country without him needing to be involved. By then end of his first term, he had changed a lot of minds, and I have no doubt the second Lincoln term would have ushered in a tremendously better future for the country. It was not to be. The orang and white highway safety cone is the Indiana state flower. Blooms from March to October.
Posted by: Madame Mayhem (uppity wench) at February 14, 2025 10:12 AM (4XwPj) ------------- Funny. Out here in Northern AZ, it's almost as bad as painting the Golden Gate Bridge. Once they finish repaving an entire interstate, they start over again. TBF, they've finally started putting down a concrete base first upon which the asphalt sits. On other highways, especially on The Rez -- it's perpetual crack-sealing ... making your already bumpy ride that much MOAR bumpy! Perpetual Crack-Sealing sounds like a Hunter Biden painting ... and I saw Perpetual Crack-Sealing open for the Tedeschi Trucks Band at the Birthplace of Route 66 Festival last year. Democrat party troll-bots on Youtube LOVE saying JD Vance wears "eyeliner" or "mascara." Because they're commie hoaxers.
By DNC standards that means he's trans and therefore the holiest class of person in existence. Posted by: Ian S. at February 14, 2025 11:09 AM (2ocoG) 364
