USAID Sent Millions of Taxpayer Dollars to George-Soros-Aligned Leftwing Causes (and Terrorists, Of Course!)

Before the Trump administration closed USAID's doors, the agency regularly routed funding to causes aligned with George Soros' nonprofit empire, terrorists and drag queens.

In recent days, the Trump administration identified USAID programs ranging from contraceptives for Afghanistan to LGBT diversity programs for European countries as clear evidence that foreign aid needed to be paused and reevaluated, a task that fell to the Rubio State Department.
The development agency for years also funneled money to several nonprofit groups that also received substantial backing from components of George Soros' empire. Some previously came under scrutiny during the Obama administration for "democracy promotion" and judicial reform efforts in European countries that critics claimed promoted leftist politics.

For example, U.S. government spending records show that the East-West Management Institute, which is in part backed by Soros' Open Society Foundations, received more than $260 million over the years in grants from USAID to, among other things, promote the rule of law in Georgia, strengthen civil society in Uganda, and advance Serbia's accession talks with the European Union.
That same nonprofit group came under scrutiny during the Obama administration after Judicial Watch uncovered government records and communications showing that the East-West Management Institute's "Justice for All" campaign in Albania received $9 million in funding from USAID.
The assistance concerned several GOP Senators, who sent a letter to the newly appointed Secretary of State Rex Tillerson in 2017, alleging the campaign funded by the U.S. government helped craft an Albanian judicial reform proposal that may "give the Prime Minister and left-of-center government full control over the judiciary."
Those same Senators also raised concerns about a similar Soros-backed program in neighboring Macedonia where they said a local affiliate called Foundation Open Society-Macedonia received backing from USAID through the Open Society Foundations and pushed "a progressive agenda."
Other Soros-backed organizations that received funding from both his Open Society Foundations network and USAID include the Anti-Corruption Action Center in Ukraine and Transparency International.
According to the group's own records, the Anti-Corruption Action Center began receiving funding from USAID the same year the Maidan Revolution overthrew Ukraine's elected, Russian-friendly President Viktor Yanukovych. The group, by its own admission, was heavily critical of Yanukovych's government and ministers, which aligned with U.S. State Department policy at the time. During the 2014 Maidan Revolution, then-Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland visited Ukraine and was recorded on a leaked phone call discussing how the United States could influence the formation of a new government in Kyiv.
George Soros' Open Society Foundations did not respond to a request for comment.

USAID wasn't just embezzling taxpayer money to give to George Soros -- it was also funding Klaus "Eet Zee Bugz" Schaub and the World Economic Forum.

Of course, $68 million is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to funding the WEF. The transnational elite uses hundreds or thousands of income streams that wind up in the pockets of the WEF to push ESG, eating bugs, "sustainable development," NetZero, and all the evil things the organization does, but among all those many tendrils of funding and control, USAID is a conduit of money to the technocrats of the WEF.
Who could have guessed?
ESG alone has done more to distort the allocation of capital and slow economic growth than just about anything any of our foreign adversaries aside from perhaps China have done. NetZero has been destroying the European economy, impoverishing millions of people across a continent that should be an economic powerhouse.
15-minute cities, the shuttering of farms, skyrocketing energy prices, destabilizing societies, mass immigration, censorship coordination. All the things that have been plaguing Western societies have been egged on and planned at the World Economic Forum, which serves as a coordinating institution for the technocracy that is fundamentally transforming our society.

The internal watchdog warned the agency that it was not sufficiently vetting for terrorists or getting the U.N. to comply with transparency requirements.

Just days before Elon Musk began a purge at the U.S. Agency for International Develop (USAID), the foreign aid agency was warned in a stinging memo from its own internal watchdog that it had created serious "vulnerabilities" by doling out billions of tax dollars to overseas countries and groups without fulling vetting for terrorists and fraudsters or demanding transparency from recipients of America's largesse.
The memo, which was published by the Inspector General of the U.S. Agency for International Development in late January, details some long-standing concerns about how safeguards against misuse of funds and the proper authorities to hold violators accountable are missing from the Office of Inspector General's toolbox.
"Incredibly politicized"
This memorandum "identifies vulnerabilities and challenges which we believe hinder accountability and transparency within Agency programs," Inspector General Paul Martin wrote to the acting administrator of the agency.
Fred Fleitz, a former Trump National Security Council official, told Just the News that a key concern of the administration is ensuring the money is being spent wisely and on causes benefitting U.S. interests.
"[USAID] has been incredibly politicized for leftist political goals by the Democrats. It's become a politicized boondoggle, and we saw that over the last 48--72 hours. We know that USAID officials were trying to subvert Trump's effort, or his order to freeze foreign aid for 90 days, so we can see what our tax dollars are being paid for, and is it in the interest of the United States? Is it America First?" Fleitz told the John Solomon Reports podcast on Monday.

Inspector General Martin identified three main areas of vulnerability: "Resistance from United Nations (UN) agencies and foreign-based nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) to sharing information with OIG about potential misconduct;" "Limitations on vetting of aid organizations for ties to designated terrorist organizations and known corrupt actors;" and "Limitations in obtaining data about USAID-funded sub-awardees."

As mentioned, this is a money laundering operation where money is first laundered through relatively "clean" NGOs who then award the money to less clean NGOs who in turn then launder it to dirty NGOs. So that the CIA has plausible deniability about sending money to actual terrorist groups.

That last part -- "Limitations in obtaining data about USAID-funded sub-awardees" -- is talking about this: USAID doesn't know (or more accurately, wants to hide) who the ultimate "sub-awardees" of its grants really are.

So yes, there are "limitations in obtaining data" about the ultimate recipients of the money, because that's precisely what the rogue Marxist CIA officials want. The whole point is to hide who's getting US taxpayer dollars from US taxpayers.

Right. So we don't actually know if the money earmarked for gay bath safehouses for Al Qaeda actually went to creating gay bath safeshouses or if it "disappeared" or if it was spent on tranny porn subscriptions, or...

We have the opposite problem here that we do with normal money laundering. Normally you can see the end result of the money and try to work your way backwards to finding the source of the money.

Here, we KNOW the source. But money is fungible and these cut out companies and millions of transactions are going to make it nearly impossible to ever prove (like court of law level prove) who got what money and for what purpose.

If it seems there won't be a deal, Trump may have Elon hand Mike a budget while telling every single R House member they must vote for it, or else...b/c they can't seem to make a budget themselves...

I imagine it will be a CR b/c they are working towards Oct (thus, why feds get paid that long) and will make that Oct budget the huge cutting one by department...this may just reduce the overall money for the year without specificity b/c Trump is gonna apply that specificity as Elon goes...

USAID is the CIA's money.

This is all CIA money. Or, whatever, USAID is their own agency funded by congress but from day one it was used to project "soft power" on behalf of our intelligence agencies (which all ran through CIA at the time, it's a lot murkier now.)

Trump's options are limited regarding congressionally mandated spending, but USDAID was set up to not have any strings attached, giving the bureaucrats maximum flexibility.

The vulnerability of that is that it can also be turned off. Trump can basically say: "none of these grants were valid," and Congress is powerless. They only way that reverse it is to actually fund terrorists, the BBC, etc as line items in the budget, which would be suicidal.

I'm of the same mind. Yesterday I was curious whether the Vatican would have any comment. I expected sanctimonious whining laced with elitist finger pointing. What I found was "sadz". Apparently, a good number of Vatican involved do-gooder programs are funded by USAID through CRS (Catholic Relief Services). They were upset that all their programs in Gaza had to be shut down for lack of funding relative to the "temporary" hiatus of USAID. So, there's another thing to be pissed about. We get our tax dollars stolen and instituted into charity programs without any input, and those entities getting the money also reap any accolades for their work. We, on the other hand, have no idea we are financing the whole sheeeeebang.

Apparently she was chosen to star in the movie, then completely took it over and made it hers. He was too much of a soyboy to stop her until it was too late. But get your own project, don't bogart someone else's film! She even hired people behind his back to redo the score of the film. But the other guy has all the rights and this has been his baby project. It's supposedly a series of novels, but I doubt with all this drama they will do a sequel movie.

Someone has to move the money to the new destination. Sure often it will be a drop box if staffing is low, or merged into one officers, but each of these shells has names and places attached to fill out the forms and can be dug up. Doing the basic 'connection' list will find that one real company and people will show up in lots of places and you can go right after them from the start.

Haven't read it but one base bit of info is that international law says a refugee of country X must go to a neighboring nation to X to apply for refugee status and stay there while processed. So only refugee Canadians and Mexicans are eligible to cross our border and enter and remain here. And even then they must go to a limited border towns.

Otherwise they are in violation of law.

Right now, we essentially are in a state of anarchy due to Biden administration flouting of immigration laws. Trump is restoring order along with the Border Patrol but a lot of people admitted under TPS (temporary protective status due to alleged unrest in home countries ) will probably have that withdrawn in the near future. Venezuelans already have had that. Ilegal parents are probably going to find it more and more difficult to work and stay in the US and expect any welfare to dry up.

Refugee status, which is relatively few people, is complicated because it involves treaties, etc.

Until Trump took over, Biden had gotten rid of his Remain in Mexico but yes. As a matter of intl law from treaties, refugees don't get to pick which country they go to nor are they guaranteed a path to citizenship nor permanent occupancy. The first safe country that they pass through is where they have somewhat of a legal status to apply for refugee status. But nations themselves can set their own refugee limits for applicant admission, etc.
