The Morning Report — 2/5/25

RAIDDOGE.jpg

Good morning kids. Now that the light has been turned on in the kitchen so to speak, President Donald Trump is not only dousing everything with Plutonium-infused RAID, and the cockroaches who were once doing the multi-trillion dollar mambo to "hey baba-rebop" as per the old Robert Klein routine, but they are shrieking in anger and terror. Hopefully they'll go legs up any second now and can be swept up and disposed a la the garbage trucks in Soylent Green, to be turned into Soylent Marxist insect meat and force-fed to the Greta Thunbergs of this world, until they choke on it.

Considering our budget over the past couple decades has soared into the trillions, the fact that USAID was allocated merely billions each year still is significant in that all the money, minus whatever was skimmed off the top to wet the beaks of the Democrats, went to a veritable rogues gallery of anti-American, anti-Western crackpot, terroristic thugocracies, kleptocrats and tyrants that have shed rivers o blood of their own people and us in the process. Those who are shrieking loudest are both in on the grift and hate this country as much if not more than the scum getting the dough-rey-mi. And this is just USAID, wait until the DOge axe really starts being wielded at the rest of the bureaucracy.

And speaking of cockroaches shrieking out their death rattle, this will warm the cockles of your heart:

The reaction of some U.S. Agency of International Development (USAID) employees when the Dept. of Government Efficiency (DOGE) came to their Washington D.C. office last week is raising more questions about the shadowy agency.

Contractor Kristina Drye, who is employed at USAID described to ABC News a scene reminiscent of the kind of mad scramble historically witnessed when a corrupt government has fallen and officials are desperately trying to get rid of evidence of wrongdoing.

Drye described USAID employees taking down pride flags and removing books that she felt might be “incriminating” as well as how “no one was talking” as DOGE team members began their review of the operations of the agency that sends billions of taxpayer dollars abroad for a variety of reasons ranging from disaster relief to funding regime change.

She described her concerns over DOGE setting up automatic transcription of USAID employee Google meets and how, over the weekend, she lost access to work computer.

USAID’s Director of Security John Voorhees and his deputy Brian McGill were both placed on administrative leave after denying system access to DOGE employees who were eventually able to gain access to the secure systems in order to conduct their analysis.

Such actions seem out of place considering that USAID employees and managers have had since early November to anticipate the incoming Trump administration and the anticipated arrival of DOGE.

Hiding flags and books and attempting to prevent access to the systems that track secretive government payments lend more strength to the concerns about fraud expressed by Elon Musk than they do to claims that USAID is operating with full transparency and accountability.

President Trump ordered a 90 day pause in foreign development assistance via USAID while the DOGE team reviews that agency’s efficiencies and consistency with the new administration’s foreign policy objectives.

I hope Pam Bondi and Discipline will follow the money and prosecute with extreme prejudice wherever it leads, now that she has been confirmed as the new AG!!

The other Yuuuge story this morning is what President Trump said during his meting with Bibi Netanyahu regarding Gaza. Ho Lee Fook!

Trump said he would deploy US troops to the territory “if it’s necessary” and that he imagined “the world’s people” occupying an “international unbelievable place” that would be regarded as “the Riviera of the Middle East,” with some Palestinians permitted to resettle there.

Netanyahu all but endorsed the idea, saying: “I think it’s something that could change history and it’s worthwhile really pursuing this avenue.”

The Israeli leader said “[Trump] sees a different future for that piece of land that has been the focus of so much terrorism, so many attacks against us, so many trials and so many tribulations.

“He has a different idea, and I think it’s worth paying attention to this.” Trump, who frequently denounces prior US military interventions in the Middle East, did not lay out a timeline for either the proposed US occupation or the relocation of Gaza’s residents, but he presented the overall plan as a well-considered “strong recommendation” to bring peace to the region.

“I’ve studied this very closely over a lot of months, and I’ve seen it from every different angle,” Trump said.

. . . Egyptian and Jordanian leaders have already rejected Trump’s request that they take in Gazans. But Trump claimed Tuesday that he believes Amman and Cairo will agree to do it, and that Gazans would be thrilled to relocate.

“Gaza is a hellhole right now,” he said. “It was before the bombing started, frankly, and we’re going to give people a chance to live in a beautiful community that’s safe and secure, and I think you’re going to see tremendous outpouring of support.”

The president made a series of escalating remarks about Gaza throughout the day Tuesday, and said in the Oval Office before the press conference that he thought residents “wouldn’t want to go back” after being relocated.“I do see a long-term ownership position,” Trump said at the press conference when asked about the potential US takeover. “Everybody I’ve spoken to loves the idea of the United States owning that piece of land, developing and creating thousands of jobs with something that will be magnificent, in a really magnificent area that nobody would know.”

First of all. the notion of deploying US Troops here is insane. No, just flat out no. Even if this idea of remaking Gaza into a new Riviera had a snowball's chance in hell of sucess (which it doesn't) US boots on the ground is a line in the sand of a region already soaked in American blood, particularly in Beirut which at one point was a Middle Eastern Riviera until the same ideology turned it into Gaza 25 years ago.

While I appreciate Trump's support for Israel, and that it's good to both think out of the box if for no other reason than to force people to see things they may not want to, and to force the hand of your opponents. That said, this is all well and good on President Trump. But the real problem is, as we all should know by now is ISLAM itself.

Unless and until the majority of Muslims openly reject the main tenets of their so-called religion, that is the submission and or death of unbelievers, particularly Jews, then while we may have gained some time and some measure of security, I'm afraid the past 1,500 years or so of history means we will have more innocent blood spilled in the name of Mohammedanism.

With the exception of pre-Jimmy Carter Iran, the Arab and broader Muslim world despite being awash in petrodollars, have spent the past 77 years primarily focused on one thing, eradicating the State of Israel and then going on to finish the work of Adolf Hitler by killing every Jew on the planet as is their prime directive stated in pretty calligraphy.

The best perhaps we can hope for, if/when the dust settles in Gaza and its residents return is the permanent removal of their terrorist/Islamist/Anti-Semitic government. Elections have consequences and remember it's Gazans that keep voting for the terrorists and Jew-haters. Purple thumbs and/or Dominion voting machines notwithstanding. And that's because they do not want to live side by side with Israel. Kudos to Trump for calling out the complete delusional failure of Peace Process Incorporated.

To mangle the lyrics of Rogers and Hammerstein, "Call Me a cockeyed Pessimist,' or perhaps realist. Again, I give credit to Trump for at least putting this out there and taking a blowtorch to the abject failures of Foggy Bottom in its support of the irredentism of the fake "Palestinians" and their enablers around the world and here.

This is who you have to deal with . . .

Hamas tortured and executed terrorists within its ranks who allegedly had gay sex, shocking documents show — as sources added some male Israeli victims of the Oct. 7 massacre were raped in captivity.

The Iranian proxy terror group had a running list of recruits who were found to have failed Hamas’ “morality checks” by having same-sex relations — and they heavily paid the price, according to documents recovered by the Israel Defense Forces and shared with The Post.

The documents reveal the “crimes” that were allegedly committed by 94 Hamas recruits — lumping together “homosexual conversations,” “flirting with girls without a legal relationship” and “sodomy” in with serious allegations of child rape and torture.

This has kind of a Colonel Kurtzian hypocritical splendor to it, all things considered, no? Continuing...

It is unclear what happened to the recruits identified as “unacceptable” to Hamas, but homosexuality is illegal in Gaza and can result in years of prison — and even death.
Such was the case with former Hamas commander Mahmoud Ishtiwi, who was executed in 2016 after he was accused of having gay sex.
Ishtiwi’s confession and apparent testimony of the brutal treatment he received was included in the documents shared with The Post.

Butt, Butt Queers for "Palestine?!" Long distance def dedication to them!

"Qom fly with me, off the Tehran Hilton roof."

To mangle the lyrics of Rogers and Hammerstein, "Call Me a cockeyed Pessimist,' or perhaps realist.

Nation building begins at home: How about forcing all the Democrats to leave California. Or to prevent them from infecting normal America, abolish their party, remove them from government and turn to restoring its former lustre. And talk of California seceding is once again making news. Meh, cut the shithole coastal cities loose and we get to keep the farmlands, forests, watershed and at least one port. The rest can go Gaza itself.

Have a great day.

And lastly, a quick shout-out and thank you for your continued support in hitting our tip jar. It truly is appreciated more than you can know.

22 What Elon (and Trump) are doing with USAID is absolutely perfect BECAUSE it's such a small portion of the budget.

They started with something so small BECAUSE they knew the Democrats would go all-in to defend it.

And because they have correctly exposed all budget line items that are so utterly insane that normies hear about it and their instant response is, 'WHAT the fuck did you say they're spending money on!?!?!'

These are things that any sane person knows should be instantly cut. They're indefensible.

AND YET THE DEMOCRATS ARE DEFENDING IT.

That's why its so perfect. Now, when they get on to the REAL meat of the cuts, on things that some normies might be against cutting, the response will be, 'The Democrats didn't want to stop sending condoms to Afghanistan, they won't support ANY cut at all, no matter how small'.

Because they've gone so insane all-in defending crap that CANNOT be defended to the normies, the normies will not trust them on ANY cut that's coming.

It's brilliant, and exactly what needs to be done.

I don't know, look at Ukrania , within months of war with Russia millions left on their own as soon as they were given legal residency status in places like Poland, Germany...Ireland. There are 1.7-1.8 arabs in Gaza. They can relocate to Jordan, Egypt and Indonesia within 6 months.

Trump had made comments before about renovating parts of the capitol city. Those were made during debates about a new FBI HQ and where it'd be located. He also made similar comments about NYC. So, redeveloping Gaza with some sort of "Miami on the Med" vision isn't out of character for him.

The opportunity is there for redevelopment. Trump's a developer. This checks out.

Whether it's a good idea is debatable.

74 Yesterday when Trump announced he was considering building a Riviera in Gaza, I was like holy smokes. Essentially I didn't know what to think of it.

Hours later I'm like. Is he crazy? Getting into that mess at that level of detail dilutes the reason he was elected and that was to reform the United States from top to bottom. Going balls to the walls on something as nutty as Gaza is going to distract him terribly. If he wants to fix something, let him go fix East Palestine first. That's his mandate. Not fixing Palestine Middle East.

If he wants to supply the leadership to get the Arab Nations actively fixing that shit hole, well, that's a different story. But committing the US to fixing that, he just bought us endless trouble. The muzzy's in that region have act like savages and I can't imagine they will suddenly become big fans of Felonious D and the Scalp Weasels no matter how many casinos he builds for them. For now, I think he's walking in into a disaster of his own making. I hope this proposal was big fat trial balloon to get people thinking about how to solve this and not an actual us policy commitment. Time will tell.

I actually disagree...a better change is to get kids always learning something every day. As their brain continues to learn, those slow to reading tend to pick it up without ever going through the "I can't do this, I hate this" phase...

Rote book learning, especially to a boy, at 5-6 who can't read, is toxic. My last couldn't read til 7 (when his sis's read at 3) - instead, he learned tons of nature, tons of sports, math facts, fine motor skills his sis's didn't have, etc...while getting mom to read harder things and videos/audios to learn. It kept his frustration down and now he's another highly skilled kid...

It's hard in a classroom to accommodate the kid who picks up reading skills slower...but getting rid of the variety won't make it go faster...

120 Morning.

Since the topic of education has been brought up, a couple of thoughts from here in Fairfax County, VA.

The public school system (FCPS) sucks mightily. How much? The superintendent, one Michelle Reid, came from a background of being more interested in kids masking up for covid than the schools actual mission. The FCPS interviewed her as a replacement t along with several others, but it was clear it was just a formality.

She's a disaster.

This is a pretty large and, I hate say wealthy community. Reid has addressed subpar student performance by lowering academic standards so more kids pass. She fought Gov Youngkin's orders to stop grooming kids in school. She's taken every opportunity to use county comms to preach messages such as anti-gun comments.

Frankly, while I agree that a well rounded elementary education is ideal, first strip in the affluent county continuing to turn out subpar students who are laughed at by college admissions boards is to, indeed, limit and improve the reading, writing, math and stop teaching everything else.

I think Netanyahu tried to pressure Trump into relocating the Gazans, cleaning up the explosives, and redeveloping the land so Israel could take it over, get the gas reserves under it and make a shipping channel to compete with the Suez Canal, and pissed Trump off. So Trump waited until this news conference and just announced there the US would take possession of Gaza, probably figuring we can establish a port there for the Navy, some listening posts, maybe even to monitor the Israelis, and a base to allow us to operate in the region. Netanyahu does not look pleased:”

Oh, I'm aware of the county...the problem is what is taught is not worth teaching. No one cares about pronouns and sex and diversity r us. That's the time wasting when in school. Not to mention dealing with all the non-English speakers and discipline problems. Regular kids are ignored.

There's a reason no one goes to public school if they can help it, even here. Even hard left parents. It's the most diverse politically homeschooling community you'll see b/c no one with regular kids is happy.

I have always thought the first book was the best, maybe because it introduces you to his ability as a writer, philosopher, comedian, etc., all while teaching you the subject.

211 Daily Kos: "It struck me that what we are seeing happen to the U.S. Government is something that would not be considered strange or unprecedented in another context. Consider a few things: (long list, including freezing spending, replacing leaders with loyalists, etc)

This is what it looks like when vulture capitalists descend on a company and loot it. This is a hostile takeover — applied to government.

Musk admits he is an enemy of the United States. On a livestream last night, Musk said of his destruction of the federal government: “If it’s not possible now, it will never be possible. This is our shot, This is the best hand of cards we’re ever going to have. If we don’t take advantage of this best hand of cards, it’s never going to happen.”

With that statement, Musk had openly admitted his goal is the annihilation of the United States government and the Constitutional order.

Musk has taken the NOAA CO2 monitoring data from Mauna Lao offline. His brownshirts raided the NOAA data center yesterday and now the entire Mauna Lao site is offline. It's the main NOAA source for GHG data, in the case of Mauna Loa going all the way back to 1958.

Meh on Midnight Cowboy.

I find it to be a boring movie. As in very boring.

On the plus side, it is a very important prestige movie for Our Times with Dustin Hoffman Dustin-Hoffmanning it up all over the place.

So, we got that working for us.

214 Trump isn’t seriously considering dropping American troops in that toilet. Nor is he actually thinking Gaza could be turned into Vegas. It’s just something nice and positive to say about the oozing smegma-hole of the world as he meets with the evil Zionist weather-controller Bibi.

Incredibly, there were parts of the Middle East that were like the Rivera back in the day. Beirut for one. In the 1950s and 60s, it was popular with very affluent Americans — including many Jews — who vacationed there. There a scene in the classic American Chuckster masterpiece Delta Force to that effect. Hard to believe it now.

By taking it:
1) It's a huge F.U. to the countries that recognized Palestine as a "state;" esp. as it technically belongs to Israel

3) and this is the shear, absolute brilliance--the US will, of course, also build a nice, big beautiful military and naval base right in the middle of the ME, that no one can bitch or complain we are "invaders"

293 AmericanThinker:

It has become increasingly obvious that DOGE is Gorbachev’s glasnost (openness) reprised. Glasnost soon led to perestroika (reform) and the Soviet Union croaked. DOGE will play a key role in dismantling the Deep State. We’ve lost count of how many decades former congressman Ron Paul has called for auditing the bankers’ plaything, the Federal Reserve System and its 400+ PhD economists. Or more recently, when senators Sanders and Grassley teamed to demand a Pentagon audit. Not only will DOGE audit the Fed and get to the bottom of the Pentagon’s missing trillions, but the entire federal leviathan is undergoing a full MRI scan. We know the diagnosis: Stage 4 metastatic cancer throughout the system. Drs. Musk and Trump have already indicated some of the initial body parts needing surgical intervention, starting with USAID, the CIA’s cover vehicle for adventures such as Victoria Nuland’s regime change fiascos or propaganda initiatives, at home and abroad.

Fuck 'em. They've have 75+ years to be good neighbors, and refuse. It's now like a band-aid. It'll hurt for a second to remove, but then be much better.

Spoiler alert: Trump shut down the city.

388 317 A federal judge has blocked Donald Trump’s administration from forcing three incarcerated transgender women into men’s prisons and taking away their gender-affirming healthcare. The order on Tuesday from Washington, D.C. District Judge Royce Lambert – who was appointed by Ronald Reagan – temporarily strikes down part of Trump’s sweeping executive order on gender as a likely violation of the Eighth Amendment’s prohibition against cruel and unusual punishment, landing yet another court-ordered blow to his agenda.
