Trump Informs EPA That 1,000 of Its Layabouts and Make-Work Social Justice Warrior Hires May Be Dismissed "Immediately"

They're not fired yet, just told that they may be fired at any moment.

Which is almost better, as far as The Cruelty goes.

Steve Milloy
@JunkScience

In case you feel sorry for any EPA employees that may be axed, don't bother. Recall that these are same arrogant and evil creeps who killed 50,000 high-paying coal industry jobs during the Obama years. Each killed coal job supported anywhere from 4-10 other community and related-industry jobs. The loss of these jobs irreparably devastated coal communities, where there is typically little else do but mine coal or support those that do. All of this was for absolutely no reason. Just left-wing politics. I was there. I saw it. I only wish I could be at EPA to hand out the pink slips and turn the lights off. @LeeZeldin @realDonaldTrump @JDVance

8 Drama Yoni Jake Tapper is concerned about our military community again:

"Tapper went on to wonder why Musk was handed access to a payment system that includes 'your Social Security benefits, your tax refunds and payments to federal workers and contractors having up to more than $5 trillion a year.'

The anchor also produced a letter he claimed was that of a friend who worked as a psychologist for the Department of Veteran Affairs.

Tapper claimed his friend had received the letter - which urged her to resign - four times in the last two weeks.

'Her job is making sure that veterans with post-traumatic stress don't kill themselves, and she is worried,' he said."

(source: Daily Mail)

Going forward, every vet who suicides themselves is Trump's fault.

28 We have to do something about the forced spending of funds.

Maybe create a clawback exemption for departments, allowing them an award for unspent funds.

Every year I get offers to author books, articles or grants from the local University because they HAVE to spend their Funding.

Last night, my mind boggled. She was running something to make graphs of the convoluted funding paths. You may have seen the Bill Kristol snippet.

Doing that took her 48 CPUs running in parallel for 12 hours, and used 150GB of data. That's how obfuscated this whole thing is. Again, I knew it was bad, but I had no freaking idea....

The entire Democrat ecosystem now is wholly dependent on government grants to keep going. They shat on their own constituents because they thought it was impossible to lose the cash flow.

Now, more than a decade into this process, the Democrats are looking at that cash flow coming to a very sudden halt. And it's not just Democrats in America. It's the left across the Western World.

At the end of this, if Trump is successful, the left will have abandoned its voters for cash it can't get anymore.

It's necessary to view the government like the mafia.

Most people see the corruption, the crime, the murder, and think "we can't have that in a civilized society," but there are ALWAYS citizens who benefit greatly from having the mafia control things in their town.

They will always see the freebees given away, and ignore the crime and corruption.

Wrong. It puts an enormous amount of particulates in the air. If you want to breathe that stuff, China has some lovely cities you can visit. Bring a respirator.

So if the price of the stock goes down, you MAKE money (the difference in the price of the stock at the time you 'borrowed' it, vs the price you pay to replace it). BUT if the price of the stock goes up, well, you're going to lose money on the difference.

256 The official office of "dictator" was democratically elected (sort of). The job of the dictator was to sweep aside the corrupt perverts of the senate and whichever two cretins were currently installed as consuls, in order to get the nation past some crisis point (which crisis was typically directly or indirectly the fault of said cretins and perverts to begin with).

It was also, originally at least, a term limited office and generally the end of one's political career.

Trump as Dictator? I'll vote for that. (I basically did.)

High emissions from cars these days comes from a few really bad cars. A study found that these could be easily found by mobile detectors on the road or near highway exits. He particularly hates Musk, and argues DOGE is "unauthorized and illegal", ignoring the fact the President can hire whomever he wants (with some people subject to Senate review and approval, though not Musk).

The real point is the Democrats hate the pace of change. The interviewer finally honed in on that and got Welch to say rapid change is confusing him and his automatic reaction is negative. He understands, he claims, the need for change, and he understands, he claims, that spending $6 trillion per year is unsustainable.

Wonder if this is actually run by Jews, or did they just glom onto the name to hide their perfidy...

Like the Catholic charity doing the same thing... I'd wager it has nothing to do with the actual Catholic Church.

475 A little alcohol in the gas is OK by me. Our engine parts have been built for it and it keeps water out of the gas tank and exhaust.
No rusty mufflers and no rusty gas tanks to replace.

476 Waste to power has been around for decades. It's abysmal, inefficient (very little power generated, and now you just have a slightly smaller pile of hot garbage to get rid of), and stinks to high hell.

Columbus. OH had a trash burning power plant in the 80s. It was known as the Cash Burning Power Plant

Get rid of bullshit gas cans and Imma okay with a little alcohol. Or, I could just buy some dry gas to clean things up when I feel like it and have moar octane.

Maybe for car engines. But not for small engines. Have had to have a genset and an atv carb rebuilt because the ethanol ate up the plastic carbs.

483 "I have long advocated for a network of tire and garbage burning power plants."

It's actually a thing called RDF, Refuse Derived Fuel.

There used to be one operating in an industrial area of Baltimore a number of years ago.

484 483 Erie PA had the chance for a tire burning power plant. Local greenies opposed it due to odor. It was going to be on the site of a long operating paper mill. Visit Skowhegan Maine and take a whiff.

486 Some rookie ass numbers, someone needs to get in his ear that of 17k EPA wireless he should be looking to fire about 17k. Then Zeldin can begin the process of hiring back about 2,000 who will actually be trying to look out for the environment by not spending their time funneling money to "green" projects that exclusively kill whales, endangered birds, and strip the land for ineffective wind/solar farms.

487 RDF actually works but it won't be economical at it's demonstrated price point. I think getting the process and economics defined and demonstrated was the point of building and operating those plants. It's the same as PVs were in the 80s but the government chose to shut down the subsidies when Regan started winding down alternative fuels.

RDF looks very similar to wood pellets but it's made out of dried garbage and other stuff that usually ends up in a landfill. No real smell as I recall. Not sure about emissions.
