Action? Not sure. It's been a lot. Probably USAID (for efficacy) or offering buyouts to seemingly every federal employee (for drama).
Event? That is probably his initial clutch of EOs he signed during his post-inaugural rally at the stadium, where he called out specifically that he was freezing the agencies - no more regulations and no more hiring - in order to prevent holdovers from interfering in what was coming next. That's how it should be. Machinery in a museum is one thing, but actually *working* machinery in a museum is another - and working machinery in a museum that you can actually use is just tops.
It's one of the reasons why the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum outside of Portland is so freaking cool. Their planes *work.* There are pans to catch oil drips under a lot of them. They fire them up periodically to keep them working.

DisneyChannel had a spy show starring Zendaya who was about 18 at the time. Cute show. Zendaya looked good.

My friends are fine transitioning them back to their home even tomorrow.
It's still pretty cold out but they'd have an outdoor cat house and a heated bed.

Minority Report was a cool movie. Wildly different from Dick's story, but a cool movie.
Except one part that actually sort of ruins it for me. The scene after Tom Cruise's surgery in which the underground doctor replaced his eyes, he's groping through the fridge and chows down on a revolting, rotten sandwich (IIRC). Made my stomach churn and it was unnecessary for the story. It was just there for over-the-top gross-out factor. It was successful in that, but sort of spoiled the movie for me.

Minority Report was a cool movie. Wildly different from Dick's story, but a cool movie.
Except one part that actually sort of ruins it for me. The scene after Tom Cruise's surgery in which the underground doctor replaced his eyes, he's groping through the fridge and chows down on a revolting, rotten sandwich (IIRC). Made my stomach churn and it was unnecessary for the story. It was just there for over-the-top gross-out factor. It was successful in that, but sort of spoiled the movie for me.

In high school a buddy had a pen-style CS cartridge gun, with real CS. He fired it off during lunch-hour in the huge shop building where we hung out in. It went into a modular building that the seniors were building. We ran in and got a nice whiff of CS. He later became a priest.

I think the way it ended is more interesting in many ways than what they did. Fortunately they didn't have any breakthroughs, but it wasn't really ended because they kept failing.

Based on related things he's said or have been reported I think the idea is
1 Hamas ends, by negotiation after the hostages are freed or the hard way
2 Gaza population relocated among various arab countries, sufficiently scattered to not cause further problems (Arab leaders have voiced unhappiness with the prospect)
3 US takes custody of Gaza Strip, rather than Israel, which minimizes bitching about the loss of territory.
4 Gaza Strip is rebuilt as a resort, probably by private funding, whoever wants to work there can apply, but I guess he sees it being populated from all over, but not at current density.
5 Maybe we end up with some manner of military base, just in case.

They take some of the money and go to Vegas unde some made-up bullshit where it's for official approval. There in the casino, the defense contractors just happen to be there at the same casino. @EaglesTTT and I have noticed—but haven't yet quantified—is that government-funded NGOs tend to cluster into distinct verticals. For example, religious and migrant-focused NGOs form one vertical, while media-related NGOs form another.

The difference is that because of classification we'll never get to see the CIA's dirty secrets aired like USAID's. The rot is just as deep, as we've seen from IC conduct directed at Trump, among other things. But the rot's always been there, as suggested by the MK Ultra mentions in the content. The CIA should be abolished, just like Daniel Moynihan proposed. The culture cannot be fixed, and as FISA demonstrates, it won't be policed from the outside in an effective way.

The Papyri were basically carbonized chunks. They came up with some fancy X-ray volume scanning method. And then came the hard part, virtually unrolling the 3D map of the carbonized scroll chunk into a 2D sheet, and then deciphering text.
Now, how to you distinguish the ink from the paper, although carbonized. This what Luke figured out.
