Deranged, Violent Homeless Lunatic Who Threw Woman In Front of Train Confesses His Motive: "I Did It Because I Wanted To"

Three cheers for "decarceration," everyone! Everyone give the left a big cheer for murdering as many US citizens as possible in a four year span!

The homeless man who allegedly shoved a woman into the path of a moving Manhattan train made a chilling confession -- telling cops, "I did it because I wanted to," a court heard Tuesday.

Markeese Brazelis, 26, brazenly admitted to tossing the 23-year-old victim into an incoming A train at the 168th Street station shortly after he was arrested for the savage Monday morning attack, prosecutors said at his Manhattan Criminal Court arraignment.

"I pushed her into the train because I was high and I was mad,'" Brazelis told cops, according to Manhattan Assistant District Attorney Lauren Hatz.

"I did it because I wanted to," he allegedly said.

Prosecutors said the unhinged man should be held on $150,000 bail -- arguing he posed a danger to the public as this was his third arrest in the subway system in just over a week.

$150,000 bail means a $15,000 payment by this killer and/or his family. The bail bondsman puts up 90%. (If he can find one -- I can imagine bail bondsmen not wanting to risk losing their bond for this two-legged vermin.)

Brazelis was busted on Jan. 19 for entering the prohibited area of the Bergen Street subway station -- only to be released and then arrested four days later for allegedly grabbing a woman's butt as she stood next to her partner on a subway platform, according to prosecutors.

Both cases, which included charges not bail eligible, allowed Brazelis to remain free to escalate his subway deviance -- culminating in the unprovoked attack at the Washington Heights station around 9 a.m. January 27, prosecutors said.

The maniac didn't even exchange a word with his victim before throwing her into the train, according to the ADA.

"He poses a threat to strangers he encounters on the subway platforms and he engages in criminal conduct despite being completely unprovoked," Hatz said.

Don't worry about the dramatic escalation in random maniacs throwing women in front of oncoming subways -- it's just a "transitory" increase, I've been told.

Why? To end any confusion created by the court's injunction.

Currently our society is suffering from an excess of empathy, we need to dial it back a bit and be somewhat more cold and uncaring. Not too much, but enough that we can shrug at someone really nutso being stuffed into a facility to care for them without being all tore up about their rights and freedoms.

78 PSA for everyone travelling on subways or buses or anything that some degenerate scumbag can push you in front of: don't stand near the fucking edge.

No, I'm not blaming the victim. I'm trying to help possible future victims. Obviously scumbags like this Markeese guy shouldn't be on the streets in the first place. But we know they are. Everyone should protect themselves at all times. Like in boxing.

I see so many people standing at the edge of subway platforms, or at the curbs where buses stop. All it takes is one shove and that person could be killed. Just like starlets shouldn't be going to known scumbags' hotel rooms like Fat Harv Weinstein to "discuss a part," people shouldn't be making it easy to be pushed in front of a train or bus.

I stand as far away as possible. My back is against the wall of the subway station. When the train pulls up, then I walk over to the door. If someone tries to grab me, I fight back to kill. Everyone should do the same. I'm not going to be a victim.

Insurance companies lobby government.

The ultra rich that run those companies also lobby the government and, let’s face it, essentially bribe politicians.

Effectively they are no different than the mob in how they operate in their business model. They just use financial clout instead of violence.

Sorta reminds me of the old Civil War stories about camp followers. The soldiers would be roaming around the countryside, occasionally having battles, but there were always these people who would travel with them.

Various prostitutes, and other suckers and parasites who would sell the soldiers this that and the other.

Government creates the bloodline. The suckers then come and suck on it.

The suckers include just about every person in the country, or at least the adults.

Insurance companies don't lobby the government for payment. Oh there are things they are happy to argue for. But providers lobby Medicare to cover the new procedures they come up with so that by extension all the private insurers follow. That's the path. Insurers are a problem inasmuch as they are not insurers. They are third party payers of pre-agreed upon health care services. Insurance has almost nothing to do with it anymore.

163 Under Obamacare / ACA Regime? Nothing.

Posted by: garrett at January 29, 2025 02:42 PM (xk5j

This predates Obamacare by decades.

The states regulate the insurance companies. The insurance companies own the drug companies who negotiate with big pharma on drug prices. The same companies often own the pharmacies. Big Pharma is of course completely intertwined in all of this. The biggest insurance companies, who also negotiate the drug prices, are all owned by various levels of government (Medicare, various Medicaids, state insurance plans, etc.) by administered by those same private insurance companies.

Most doctors work for "non profit" (who receive govt grants) or government-owned hospital systems. Etc. etc. etc.

There is nothing free market about our health care system and hasn't been in my life time.

Oh, and there are a lot of people getting incredibly wealthy off of this corrupt system.

So the Soros DA's refusing to charge people who are mentally ill in a way that poses a clear risk to others, are not only putting those others at risk. They are denying the mental health services that the prison system offers to deranged poor folks. Shame on them for refusing help to mentally ill poor people.

/I may not fully believe this sentiment but the left needs to be made to live by their rules. Refusing to bring charges that would result in mentally ill folks getting needed mental services while incarcerated amounts to refusing to help those people, why do they hate poor mentally ill people?

But what tradesmen and workers come up with out working and making things is what the imperial system developed out of, as nutso and chaotic as it is. It just works.

The newsface said "there's no evidence the firefighters are running out of water," then they cut to the reporter on the ground who said "firefighters are telling me they're running out of water."

That guy lost. He ran as a Democrat, but I wonder what happens if he runs again. You lose because you don't run anybody. A successful election strategy would be to run people with legit issues, until it becomes patently obvious to voters who aren't voting that maybe they have a reason to vote.

286 226 yeah there was a big push in the 70s to teach the metric system and I liked it, its pretty cool. But there isn't any compelling reason to change and some decent reasons not to. It makes mathematical sense and is structured well but was invented in a classroom, not the field. Its the kind of thing that academics come up with, so it is all regimented and makes sense.

But what tradesmen and workers come up with out working and making things is what the imperial system developed out of, as nutso and chaotic as it is. It just works.

Back in the 70's there was such a stigmatism placed on the mentally ill that almost all the asylums were shuttered. I guess it was thought the insane could be "treated" with meds and left to their own devices.

Given the number of obviously, clinically insane people there are running loose, I'd say the $500B Trump wants to invest in "AI" would be better spent in resurrecting a national network of asylums.

It's not like there are too few patients to warrant it.

The essence of the metric L/100km measure is that a *lower* number is good -- less fuel used for a set distance. The essence of the U.S. mpg measure is that a *higher* number is good -- more miles traveled for a set amount of fuel.

319 Dating a morbidly obese woman can be pragmatic. For example, suppose you lose your universal remote. If you then date a morbidly obese woman, there's a pretty good chance a universal remote will fall out of the fat folds if you tell her there's a spider on her shoulder, causing her to move abruptly. Sometimes you even get spare change, but you have temper your expectations. Frequently, it will be a half eaten pretzel or something similar.

Given the number of obviously, clinically insane people there are running loose, I'd say the $500B Trump wants to invest in "AI" would be better spent in resurrecting a national network of asylums.

It's not like there are too few patients to warrant it.

No, it was not stigmas but the opposite.

Stigmas on the mentally ill was what had them in facilities to be helped. It was an intentional plan to let them go out into the world and be de-stigmatized and become homeless. So now we have camps of insane people on corners setting wildfires.

The issue here is that it is customary here to quote fuel efficiency in terms of distance traveled/unit of fuel. E.G. miles per gallon.

Euroland, inexplicably, quotes fuel efficiency in terms of amount consumed/fixed distance. E.G. liters/100km.

The two measures are reciprocals, leastwise reciprocally related.

But that's not inherent in the metric system. They could have quoted fuel efficiency in terms of kilometers per liter, but for some reason they didn't.

362 205 Furlong -
The name furlong derives from the Old English words furh (furrow) and lang (long). Dating back at least to early Anglo-Saxon times, it originally referred to the length of the furrow in one acre of a ploughed open field.

Was selling privately my Mothers rural property as I had to get her into a dementia unit right quick and the buyer was happy about everything except the numbers on the map of the title of the land. It was off to our eyes. Yards, furlong?, cannot be metres as the map was 100 years old or more. It had us stumped until I found a surveyor's measure in the workshop. Chains. Bloody chains was the unit of measure. Literally walked around with the chain measure and verified the numbers on the map. All matched. Sale done and dusted.

I'd like to point out I only brought up the karate guys, because it was being used as a comparison to the nevertrumpers.

The fraudsters are out there, and they sound like they know what they're talking about, until someone hits them in the mouth with some reality.

375 The hearings are revealing what many may not have really digested before: that democrats have zero interrogative range, and therefore rather chilling psychological limits. That is, it's pure hatred, or nothing at all. There is not a trace of good-faith interest in a subject or an interest in edifying themselves or the public through honest inquiry.

Yes, you do have to be an all-rounder now. Lyoto Machida is the biggest relatively pure karate guy I can think of that did well in the MMA. GSP and Stephen Thompson were both karate guys too, but they had other strong influences too.

People mock Steven Segal but he'd beat my ass (at least, when he was younger and more in shape). I have no training at all in combat. But you put an expert like that up against someone who has trained to do nothing but beat your ass using anything at all, he's going down. Hilariously.
Posted by: Christopher R Taylor at January 29, 2025 03:15 PM (2VST1)

Rogan had a clip on yootoob where he was asked if Segal was a legit fighter (the implication was that Segal was a poser). Rogan made a pretty forceful argument that Segal WAS a totally legit aikido expert. The problem was that aikido itself is all for show, and is pretty useless as a fighting style.

You get a black belt by doing forms. Breaking boards. You don't earn it in the ring. You learn how to fight by fighting.

395 I understand there are reasons people can't move. And I understand there are people that want to fight for their state. More power to them. But I have spent my money for lawyers and being screwed over by the courts in WA state. It's a pretty state but it's not the only one. I knew they would get stuck with Ferguson and that he is a major a**hole. And they want one party rule. Not much I can do, but I am grateful I got out of there.
