The Morning Report — 1/21/25

atrumpMoses.jpg

Good morning kids. At the risk of invading CBD's purview in the arena of art, there is a term called Chiaroscuro which loosely defined means a use of bold contrast between dark and light.

While yesterday's inauguration of Donald Trump as POTUS 47 was indeed a glorious burst of brilliant sunlight after four years of an abject black hole of despair, misery and suffering that threatened to engulf everything we hold dear for all time.

It's rather appropriate that the use of chiaroscuro in art came most notably to prominence during the Renaissance, which please God is what Donald Trump's return to the White House will herald for us as a nation, as a society and in our individual lives. That said the contrast between what was and God-willing what will be could not have been more in evidence when you compare the actions of the incontinent vegetable puppet president Joey Sponge-Brain Shits-Pants just prior to his being ejected from behind the Resolute Desk and that of President Donald Trump as the words "So Help Me God" left his lips and he took his hand off of the Bible.

Biden handed out blanket pardons not only to his family members, but to traitors like Liz Cheney, the J-6 committee members who oversaw the persecution of innocent Americans and Donald Trump himself, but in the case of Anthony Fauci, who actually worked for and with Red China to engineer a biological weapon of mass destruction in COVID-19, unleashed on the world to destabilize America and give cover to the theft of the 2020 section to prevent the Left's and Xi's greatest threat to their planned dominance, Donald Trump. The pandemic and then the poisonous vaccines themselves killed several million people across the globe. One could make the case that Fauci, Daszak, Birx and everyone associated with them are guilty of an actual crime against humanity. But of course, tell that to the world court which is more interested in going after Israel and Bibi for the crime against humanity of existence and self defense while Jewish. And so Three cheers for POTUS Trump moving to withdraw the US from the World Health Organization, who aided and abetted in the COVID lockdown hysteria, albeit for monetary reasons. But still.

Meanwhile, while Biden among other scum, pardoned Leonard Peltier.

The FBI Agents Association expressed outrage after now-former President Joe Biden granted clemency to Native American activist Leonard Peltier, who was convicted of killing two FBI agents.

The former president issued a number of pardons and sentence commutations in his final moments in the Oval Office this week, chief among them being Leonard Peltier, who was convicted in 1975. Per UPI:

Among the names granted clemency Monday was longtime jailed Native American activist Leonard Peltier, who many say was America’s “longest-serving political prisoner” after he was convicted in 1975 of allegedly killing two FBI agents on his property in a trial many viewed as a sham.

Biden “was right” to commute the life sentence of the Indigenous elder and activist “given the serious human rights concerns about the fairness of his trial,” Paul O’Brien, executive director of Amnesty International USA, said Monday in a statement. In a statement released on Monday, the FBI Agents Association (FBIAA) called the former president’s commutation of Peltier’s sentence “disgraceful,” noting the “brutal murders of FBI Special Agents Jack Coler and Ronald Williams.”

“This last-second, disgraceful act by then-President Biden, which does not change Peltier’s guilt but does release him from prison, is cowardly and lacks accountability. It is a cruel betrayal to the families and colleagues of these fallen Agents and is a slap in the face of law enforcement,” it said.

Funny but I don't remember the FBI agents association getting exercised when Merrick Garland and Christopher Wray went after grandmothers protesting at abortion abbatoirs or parents at school board meetings, and certainly not Donald Trump, based on evidence faked by their compatriot traitor Christopher Steele at the behest of Hillary Clinton.

And when the 2020 election was stolen, there were several dozen FBI agents in plain clothes and/or MAGA gear among the so-called "rioters" and "insurrectionists" who invaded the Capitol building by cleverly having Pelosi-controlloed Capitol PD goons open the doors for them and escort them inside.

True to his word, Donald Trump issued a mass pardon to the long suffering denizens of the Garland Archipelago:

President Trump issued pardons Monday night to hundreds of participants in the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot — staying true to his promise to grant clemency to people involved in halting the counting of Electoral College votes that day. Trump, 78, said he issued “approximately 1,500” pardons after returning to the White House from a day of inaugural festivities, telling reporters present that “I hope they come out tonight.” The newly sworn-in 47th president signed a document commuting 14 prison sentences and offering “a full, complete and unconditional pardon to all other individuals convicted of offenses related to events that occurred at or near the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021.” “I will say this, they’ve been in jail for a long time already. I see murderers in this country get two years, one year and maybe no time. So they’ve already been in jail for a long time. These people have been destroyed,” Trump said in the Oval Office when asked if any beneficiaries had assaulted police. “What they’ve done to these people is outrageous. Even people that were aggressive, and in many cases, I believe they happen to be outside agitators. But what do I know? But I think they were. I think they were outside agitators. They were outside agitators. And obviously, the FBI was involved.” The Justice Department criminally charged 1,583 people in connection with the riot, which broke out after Trump, while serving the final days of his first term, told thousands of supporters that the 2020 election was being “stolen” from him. . . The orders require the Federal Bureau of Prisons to immediately release the inmates.

Yet, Kurt Schlichter correctly notes:

All of the J6 prosecutions are illegitimate, not because the actions of the J6 defendants are all pristine – the vast majority are guilty only of thinking that as part of the People, they had a right to walk through the People’s House – but because they were not treated exactly the same way as those politically aligned with the people persecuting them. And there is no way to undo the taint of the two-tier justice system. There are reports that President Trump will commute sentences to get people out of prison, then follow up with a pardon “process” to evaluate each conviction. No, no, no. Every conviction – every single one, including those by people forced to plead guilty (and they were forced) – is tainted by the actions of the DOJ, the actions of biased judges, and the fact that the venue in DC was manifestly unjust. No J6 conviction can stand. Every conviction was unfair and unjust. . .
. . . The savage cruelty and maliciousness of the corrupt Department of Justice and FBI must be repudiated. President Donald Trump must pardon every single one of their victims. There is no other alternative. There is no compromise. Anything less than a total repudiation of this pogrom validates the unspeakable evil perpetrated upon these patriotic citizens. And that’s not all. President Trump should also apologize to them on behalf of the American people and government, as well as direct the Department of Justice to settle their multimillion-dollar civil rights claims without litigation. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. It all starts with pardoning every single one of them on Day One of the Trump 2.0 administration. Not commuting – commuting implies some validity to the convictions – but pardoning, because prosecutions that are unjust cannot stand in whole or part, and every single one in those kangaroo courts was unjust.

Leonard Peltier was and remains a terrorist, but as Schlichter correctly notes: "Hey, did you hear about that Trump-loving J6 couple who threw a bomb and permanently injured a cop? He got five years. His wife got no years. Yeah, those J6ers really got off easy. Oh, wait, my mistake. They were not J6 defendants. They were a couple of Antifa scumbags who were mad because conservative commentator Michael Knowles was going to speak about transgender baloney. Instead of being treated with the same scorn and harshness that the J6 defendants have been, this federal judge actually said they were something along the lines of very fine people. How many years do you think a J6 defendant would get if he permanently injured a cop with a bomb? About a million. But there’s a vital difference. The Biden Administration (sic) likes Antifa terrorists and hates patriots."

Mumia Abu Jamal, the evil fiend who murdered a Philadelphia cop remains behind bars and will hopefully die there because he did not commit a federal crime. Had it been Federal, I have no doubt he'd be free as a bird and probably running to primary John Fetterman, who is giving Democrats fits for being the unlikely voice of reason opposing quite a bit of their madness, BUT for the unforgivable crime of treating Trump with relative respect and willing to at least listen to him.

In any case all the right/wrong heads are exploding not only because of what Trump said but because this time around they and we get the sense that he will do everything he can to make sure he delivers on cleansing the nation of the rot, criminality and degeneracy that have laid us so low these past four years and really a lot longer than that.

As the SUN RISES, a glorious long awaited sunburst definitely indicates that it is once again morning in America. While the sundowning debasement of Biden is re-interred in its crypt of a Rehoboth DE basement, never to return. But as we all know, evil never rests and in one form or another it too will return. We must be ever vigilant to guard against it. And that means protecting future generations from hearing the siren song of paradise on earth if only they surrender their souls.

Well, the torch has been passed, and no its not from a Guatemalan illegal alien savage who immolated a sleeping subway rider. Please God, we have seen the last of those nightmare scenes.

Oh happy day. God bless the United States of America, Godspeed to President Donald J. Trump, his staff, advisers and all of us who kept the faith. May the black hearts of the Democrats, Globalists, RINOs et al finally feel the warmth of truth and justice that they are willfully or otherwise blind to and be redeemed. If not, then may they know only defeat and despair for all time.

46 Many will say that we require a constitutional amendment to deal with birthright citizenship; but I believe there is another viable path.

Precedent is the Indian Citizenship Act of 1924, which completely redefined citizenship rights of Native Americans under the 14th without requiring an amendment. However this precedent does require both Houses of Congress and the President to be in agreement. I believe this is how the issue must be addressed

She's only 70, but looks much older. That hunched over stiff walk is not a good sign. The Trump years will age her fast, and she's diabetic.

Recipe for disaster. Now we are praying for 4 years. This is putting yourself above the party and could have generational repercussions if she was to fall.

That was the intention of RBG. But unfortunately for her and the rest of us, her medical status said otherwise. That should have been a learning experience.

Robers (R) looks crushed by the weight of his guilty conscience. He'll never admit it. Never speak the truth about it. He's a republicon. But the GOP lies and corruption are eating his soul.

97 Insider Paper @TheInsiderPaper 57m
US President Donald Trump fired four senior government officials appointed by his predecessor early Tuesday and warned “over a thousand more” faced imminent dismissal in a first post on Truth Social since his inauguration

He named four individuals — Jose Andres from the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition, Mark Milley from the National Infrastructure Advisory Council, Brian Hook from the Wilson Center for Scholars, and Keisha Lance Bottoms from the President’s Export Council — as being immediately dismissed.

“Let this serve as Official Notice of Dismissal for these 4 individuals, with many more, coming soon,” the post said.

It concluded with the words “YOU’RE FIRED!”, Trump’s catchphrase from his days as the boss of the hit TV show “The Apprentice”. [AFP]

Trump's order pardoned people *convicted* of crimes related to Jan. 6.

Defendants still awaiting trial or sentencing -- the vast majority at the jail -- have not been pardoned. Trump ordered their cases dismissed. That's not going to happen at 11 p.m. on a federal holiday.

Jordan Fischer @JordanOnRecord 7h
The confusion is understandable. Pardoning is something the president can do by fiat. Dismissing a federal case requires a U.S attorney to file a motion with the presiding judge, who then must grant the motion and order the defendant's release.

Ford Fischer @FordFischer 7h
Thread by @JordanOnRecord does a good job of explaining what likely occurred tonight at the DC Jail.

Quite frankly, the DC Jail itself communicated to MPD and to the people outside a number of different contradictory versions of events leading to a lot of preventable confusion.

I don't want unity with the treasonous trash that corrupted, weaponized and possibly irrevocably finished this country. I want them destroyed. I want mass arrests, perp walks, RICO investigations and lawfare that drives them to suicide.

Now, perhaps, Trump is blatherine about being a 'unifier' as a bone to the left and the RINOs. But if he truly believes there is any common ground with the scum who have gone after him and us for al these years. . .then my bleak outlook is, I think, justified.

Has the public reached a point where we'll treat any common sense Executive Order as "legal-enough" because it's the only way to get anything useful done?

Feels like it.

He said a couple times that he hoped he'd be able to push these through. He knows it's about what you can do in terms of checks and balances. There's no pretense on his part, unlike the Democrats, that he has to fight the legal battles with the orders.

I owe you a better answer. The entire top echelon of the IDF has veered progressive years ago. With few exceptions, the IDF intentionally prevented top commanders from moving up the chain because of their conservative and/or religious beliefs.

They are part of the reason why IDF soldier's ROE are absurd to the point of teaching soldiers that there are times where they have to risk their lives instead of potential enemies.

It's why Israel has been in and out of Gaza in limited and repeated "campaigns" without resolving anything.

Any normal country would have flattened Gaza within a week or 2 after Oct. 7.

You cannot imagine how envious many of us are of the US right now. It's what we need here - real leadership and a purge of our deep state.

Yep. A week ago I heard Bob Frantz interview one: he's spent nearly his entire four years of captivity -- SANS TRIAL -- in solitary confinement.

His crime: after they Capitol Police murdered Roseanne Boyland, he dared to defend himself from those thugs going after him and others with rubber bullets and batons upside the head.

I hope Trump pardons every last one of them as Kurt Schlichter so persuasively stated above (and thanks for linking that, JJ)!

299 Somehow I get the feeling an ego as big as Liz Cheney's isn't going to let her keep quiet for long after being pardoned for her various crimes related to J6. Sure, she'll mouth off about it, but I really think she'll wade into the swamp again and this time will get wacked.

People like her can't help themselves. Compulsive. She'll get involved with some group or activity that is hell bent on subverting a Trump initiative and get caught.

At least I hope so. That she'll be caught. Not that there's going to be subversive initiatives against Trump. Those are probably a given anyway.

A murder as a political prisoner? Really?

The J6 people are in jail for protesting for a particular point of view - namely that we shouldn't accept a stolen election. People that executed similar protests served no jail time. This makes them political prisoners - they were jailed for their political views.

But murder? The prisons are full of people who murdered others whether it was over money, or anger, or whatever reason this guy did it - he is not a political prisoner.

@SpeakerPelosi
Tonight, the President announced pardons and commutations of sentences for those who violently attacked the Capitol and law enforcement officers on January 6th.

The President's actions are an outrageous insult to our justice system and the heroes who suffered physical scars and emotional trauma as they protected the Capitol, the Congress and the Constitution.

It is shameful that the President has decided to make one of his top priorities the abandonment and betrayal of police officers who put their lives on the line to stop an attempt to subvert the peaceful transfer of power.

Despite the President’s decision, we must always remember the extraordinary courage and valor of the law enforcement heroes who stood in the breach and ensured that democracy survived on that dark day.

456 Fauci and 2014. Even if that bogus pardon stands, no worries.

Maybe Trump can spur the investigation and indictment of the American Mengele for his alleged crimes against kids in the New York foster care system prior to 2014.

If it's true he forced kids to take part in drug tests and some of those kids died, Biden's pardon is just a piece of paper.

509 Some details on the story behind Melania Trump's inaugural hat: Eric Javits stitched it almost entirely by hand and had it hand-delivered to Mrs. Trump by her stylist, Hervé Pierre, after having the first version crushed in the mail.

Javits had no idea whether Mrs. Trump would actually wear the hat today considering Ralph Lauren had created a hat for her 2017 inaugural look but she chose to scrap it at the last minute.

510 First Lady Melania Trump was wearing a gown designed by Hervé Pierre to the inauguration ball.

The stunning design is a strapless off-white silk crepe gown with two bands of black silk gazar. As an accent, Melania borrowed a diamond broach that was created by Harry Winston in 1955 and wore it as a choker. Its design is meant to reflect Pierre’s concept for the gown – a ribbon encircling a bouquet of flowers.

Remember when the left complained that Guantanmo was terrible and when in response the details of it were released it turned out the jihadis their were not only treated better then just about any other prison but hell in many ways better than people on military bases?

576 Now that Liz Cheney and the rest of the J6 committee has been pardoned, then forget about a pardon for the innocent J6ers. Liz Cheney committed a crime against them. Their "convictions"should be thrown out and they are all due reparations.

They then need to sue everyone on the committee until they are all financially ruined for life. Take their savings, their businesses, their properties, their stocks, their cars, their pets, their fucking lunch... take it all. Joe Bidens pardon says they wronged you.

583 Good morning, all, and thank you, J.J. 🙏

The feds are like a movie studio in that the same 'idea' will be released about every 7 to 10 years. (Seldom is anything really new as the rare person who comes up with new is oft banished.) Recycled 'team' development and stakeholders; proposed 'new' standards & committees; target goals - not numbers because that's inhumane, violates union contract, or something. Thoughtful ways to end-run legal application of laws to create more laws. And, oh, the recycled agency to private industry & back again experts. Champions!

From above, "One could make the case that Fauci, Daszak, Birx and everyone associated with them are guilty of an actual crime against humanity." One could, I suppose.

During C19 (quite a nightmare under former PA Governor Wolf) watched Contagion, the 2011 thriller of a medical disaster where a highly contagious virus transmitted through respiratory droplets & brave medical researchers medical researchers & public health officials work to try to stop a worldwide pandemic via vaccine. "The film was inspired by real-life outbreaks such as the 2002–2004 SARS outbreak and the 2009 flu pandemic." (Wikipedia [2])

Posted by: L - It's a good day at January 21, 2025 11:04 AM (NFX2v)

584 Can't say that the association hasn't crossed my mind many times but, really, who or what would ever think of actually modeling a 'test' pandemic after a film? 🤔 Hopefully, no one.

Again, ..."and everyone associated with them..." Just a few spouses alone are interesting, not including other associates, business partners; for instance, Birx' husband a former (long ago) Clinton 'Advance Man' & lobbyist for some Eastern European nations to enter NATO, and Fauci's talented wife, Christine Grady, still "serves as the head of the Department of Bioethics at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center.[2]" Wikipedia.

BTW, the film had a Mitch Emhoff (Matt Damon) as the everyman and a Beth Emhoff (Gwyneth Paltrow) as the working mom. Isn't that a hoot?!

I beg to differ.

A large majority of feds are to be in the field conducting the business of their agency. Few need to be assembling in offices to 'administer.' Personnel & legal work is often by a separate branch of an agency, not through each, individual office. Union representatives, Management Associations have no need to be permitted to sit in office or at home all day, awaiting complaints and acting as if the entire work shift is devoted to investigations, etc. Experienced personnel must field train - to an OPM level of competence - all new hires.

If done early, field workers use to go to local libraries, corner in another government office, etc. to assemble a day's findings in order to complete formal reports. Lunches were 30 minutes with unionized ees getting an additional 15 minutes twice daily. GOV usage was controlled.
