Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | After the Election, Paul Ryan Calls For "Unity" and Begrudgingly Says He Wants Trump to Succeed"You know who that sounds like? It sounds like a Democrat!" Trump recently banned a bunch of people from working in the Administration:In order to save time, money, and effort, it would be helpful if you would not send, or recommend to us, people who worked with, or are endorsed by, Americans for No Prosperity (headed by Charles Koch), "Dumb as a Rock" John Bolton, "Birdbrain" Nikki Haley, Mike Pence, disloyal Warmongers Dick Cheney, and his Psycho daughter, Liz, Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, General(?) Mark Milley, James Mattis, Mark Yesper, or any of the other people suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome, more commonly known as TDS. Thank you for your attention to this matter!
"At one level, I get this, okay? Jill Biden is a spouse first and she has her spouse's back, right? She's not a political strategist first, you know. So, I understand that. She's disappointed. At the same time, it seems to me that Jill Biden bears at least some, if not a significant chunk, of the blame for what happened with her husband and Democrats in the 2024 election," Cillizza said. "Because quite clearly, from all of the reporting that we know about, Jill Biden was the driving force to get Joe Biden to run again, first of all, and then to fight the idea that he was too old and not physically and mentally capable of serving for another four years. And then even after that June 27th debate, to insist that it was a brief blip, he was totally fine and anyone trying to push him out was disloyal." "So, I really do think that Jill Biden's role has not gotten enough attention, scrutiny and, candidly, blame. Without her, I don't think Joe Biden probably runs again. But she felt like he should, for a variety of reasons -- some of which I think were altruistic," he continued. "She thought he could beat [President-elect] Donald Trump, etc., etc. But I do think she let her personal judgment get in the way when we are talking about a president of the United States. It is extremely hard for me to believe that Jill Biden, Joe Biden's spouse, never saw her husband in a state of confusion or a fog, like we saw him display during the June 27th debate. She's with him virtually every day."There is truth in that, but pay close attention and you'll see all the leftwing propagandists blaming people who are no longer running for office in order to avoid blaming any of the currently-serving Democrats or their insane policy prescriptions. The only Democrat position they're willing to reconsider is the same one they've been blaming for their losses since 2022: The word "Latinx." That's the one thing they're brave enough to admit that might be something they should stop saying. But they're still not brave enough to even call for an end to normal, non-mentally-ill people being bullied into posting their real, obvious, biologically-accurate pronouns. That's a step they dare not step. Comments(Jump to bottom of comments)1

Paul Ryan’s “Budget Hawk” hoax in support of big government & the deep state enrages me. He never cut spending bcuz any cuts were allegedly too small unless “entitlements” were also cut, but he knew damn well that support for Social Security cuts were impossible so long as the government is still funding LGBT enrichment programs overseas and other BS….which he supported. But if Trump needed money to secure the border, Ryan suddenly found that to be too expensive. What a traitorous, despicable person he is.

Arnold was in a sinecure in WestPoint by his and her request in order to betray to it and the Hudson Valley to the Brits. Would have split the states in two. Peggy became up close and friendly with officers like Major Andre while the Brits occupied Philadelphia and she came from a family that probably favored the Brits more than the colonials. Thank you President Biden for squeezing out every last bit of aide to Ukraine you could. Fortunately, The EU and other allies have stepped up knowing what t-rump will do. No doubt. I pray Trump doesn't let Ryan et al play to his Achilles Ego. I mean Bezos and Zuckerberg are trying to buy their way in with the highly coveted One Million Dollar Inauguration seats. Kind of a wicked smart bargain if you're a vulnerable oligarch. Same goes for the cheaper seats where a kind, deferential word can get Trump's attention. I forget the details but he was posted in the then idle New York area for some years while little was going on and came up with his plan to defect to the Brits but he failed to surrender West Point to them.
Posted by: Oldcat Andre, after a secret meeting with Arnold to set up the betrayal, got captured by local militia. Andre failed to make the ship rendezvous in time and was trying to slip back behind British lines via land. They caught Andre with the goods in his boot and sent the papers up the chain to Gen. Washington who was shocked and immediately took off for West Point and orders were out for Arnold's arrest. Arnold found out about Andre's capture by scuttlebutt as he was the local commander and he just escaped American justice. His wife, Peggy, threw a fit to throw off the Americans asking where Arnold was to buy time for Arnold to get aboard the British ship HMS Vulture to escape. Peggy later rejoined Arnold when the Americans released her with no charges. Posted by: whig at January 16, 2025 06:20 PM (ctrM5) 200

Newsom was also the one who left uncontrolled forest growth resume, statewide, while simultaneously blowing up dams and bragging about it. All that historic rain that came down for the last two years? Down to the ocean it went; none saved. And he sued the Trump admin to ensure it. He was as autocratic in shutting down CA under Covid-19 as he was in shutting down reservoirs. This is on Newsom's resume just as much as LA's mayor if not more so. His risk and damage is statewide. Paul Ryan has to be the biggest disappointment of my adult political life. When he was trying to reform entitlement spending he was a freaking rockstar. He was the guy who showed us the math. His leadership should have ushered in a new era of fiscal conservatism. Of all people, he should have been able to unite the caucus, get disciplined about spending, and finally stand up to Obama.
But the failure theater continued, he never actually fixed anything, and he wound up standing against those of us who were fed up with the status quo, all because Trump isn't quite the fiscal conservative Ryan wanted him to be, despite the fact that Trump signed the tax code reform that Ryan himself was instrumental in creating. I'll never understand why Ryan failed. He was right about so many things, but the things he was wrong about were the only things he wasn't willing to compromise on. I reminds me of "Madagasgar", only with more in-your-face wokeness. I remember seeing the latter, and thinking "that doesn't seem like that's the way it's supposed to go". Basically, after the zoo animals finally get the freedom they dreamt of, thanks to some very enterprising and capable penguins, they decide they don't like being free, and want to go back to being nanny state serfs. The heroes of the story (said penguins) are portrayed as comic relief. Much to the creators horror, I'm sure, the penguin team was so popular with people they had to launch something starring those guys. Posted by: MrExcitement at January 16, 2025 06:38 PM (hOOi9) 271

I would like to visit Arkansas but am glad I did not at anytime when she and Bill were there . Posted by: FenelonSpoke ======== Heh, he went to work for the Railroad at a good job and was fine. The second one left politics altogether after that campaign. Few, if any of my Capitol Hill coworkers in the early 80's have anything to do with politics nowadays. I quit doing fieldwork when Hill and Bill purposefully shafted the guy that I still worked for in campaigns. They did it to another guy, the AG, because everyone in Arkansas politics was getting tired of the Clinton show by the early 90's as governor. He had been governor or AG from 1976 to 1992 with only being out of office from 1980-82. Bill had charm but it was obvious that he would lie to your face if he could and he hated being challenged openly. He was also one of the worst leches I have ever been around in politics. Hit on a couple of teen girls invited to a governor's honor reception that told me later (before Paula Jones came out) that Bill had invited the two to visit him at his hotel room (same hotel as Paula was approached). Both were 17 years old. I got other stories as well. Posted by: whig at January 16, 2025 06:41 PM (ctrM5) 275

In "Wicked", it's just like everything Disney is doing - take a long beloved francise, and destroy it.
In "Wicked", the wicked witch is actually the GOOD GUY, who is being discriminated against (for being green). The Wizard of Oz and his sidekick, who teaches Wicked Witch and Glenda (the good witch) magic, are evil authoritarians oppressing the talking animals so that they have a bad guy to rally the people against. The very uplifting song I had heard many times about "defying gravity" is literally about the Wicked Witch learning to fly on her broomstick for the first time, escaping the Wizard of Oz and said sidekick. They are both frauds, and have just tried to recruit her because she has demonstrated the ability to actually do magic. The Good Witch is portrayed as Barbie-lie - shallow, self-centered, and incompetent. She more or less refuses to rebel against the Wizard, who represent the Establishment. In short, it's an abomination, but most moviegoers seem to be too clueless to see what the hell they're doing. Posted by: MrExcitement at January 16, 2025 06:45 PM (hOOi9) 280

Posted by: sharksauce ====== Look up the hit on Arkansas AG Steve Clark. Steve was a good guy and aiming at running, whether Clinton was in or out of the governor's chair in 1990. At the time, the AG of the state was paid only 25k bucks, no house. The governor was paid 35k. Salary was set in the Arkansas Constitution so to change it would require a constitutional amendment. So, legislature voted to create basically a slush fund for food, drink, that sort of thing for each office as a supplement to income. Think governor got 20-25 k (off hand from memory) plus free food/housing/travel as governor and the AG got something like 15k for everything. Steve spent that money on eating, travel, etc. and he put down who he had dinner with, etc. as was technically required. to be continued Posted by: whig at January 16, 2025 06:50 PM (ctrM5) 285

==== The slush fund was always in the past treated as a de facto salary and dressed up a bit by requiring documentation. But, Clinton leaked to the local rag that Clark was using the fund for personal use and told the reporter involved to follow Clark around to see how he used the fund. Clark was caught with buying dinner for dates (wasn't married at the time), and so on. Clark went to jail and was disbarred. Clinton, shredded all his documents regarding fund use and even his visitor logs in defiance of government requirements to keep them as official documents. Clark eventually ended up teaching at a community college in Texas and by all accounts has redeemed himself for whatever pecadillos that the Clintons trapped him with. The Clintons went on to DC and further power. That is the sort of POS that that couple is. Posted by: whig at January 16, 2025 06:52 PM (ctrM5) 287
Chargers have a habit of underperforming - Jax beat them after spotting them a huge lead last time they were in. HOU advanced last year a round.
MIN had a young QB with no playoff experience who came apart under pressure. This happens a lot. Posted by: Oldcat at January 16, 2025 06:33 PM (n7h9X) A point of trivia that seems really nuts is that the 5th tie breaker - "Strength of Victory" came into play twice. In the one case, SEA was eliminated by LAR because their opponents had 72 collective wins, vs 75 for LAR. Now LAR is in the the Divisional Round. Crazy stuff. The other place it applied has no playoff implications, just ranking within the division (may it has draft pick implications). CAR ranks higher than NO, despite identical records, split head-to-head, same division records, same common game records, and same conference records. The opponents CAR beat collectively won 28 games, vs 26 for NO. Posted by: MrExcitement at January 16, 2025 06:57 PM (hOOi9) 288

Posted by: Boswell ===== Tommy Robinson and Pulaski County. Clinton tried to kneecap Tommy as well but Tommy ended up serving in the US House for a term or two. A school friend and football team mate's father used to party with Bill up N Arkansas with sex parties. Guy ended up appointed to the Highway Board. Later, though, when Bill and Hill went to DC, the guy shot himself to death in a car when his wife went into the shop and stop to get something for their trip. Wife did not even know that the guy had a gun. The tale of Fahmy Malak as state coroner also warrants a mention. Consistently proven to be incompetent at his job or just covering for evil doers. One such case, had two young kids, that Fahmy claimed smoked so much dope they fell asleep literally on train tracks and a train crushed them into oblivion. There are more. I saw this in a Daytona Beach rally for him and stupid Romney. Ryan was sweating buckets and it was not that hot on the beach, but he was scared of 10k of us supporters.
