And it is incredible that the woman who peddled her own private BlueAnon conspiracy theories to political allies in the Deep State and sparked a five year fake investigation into Trump for being a "RUSSIAN asset" wants people prosecuted for misinformation.

Obviously, this grotesque monster would be the first in the clink were there any justice.

Former CNN Thumb -- he's still a thumb, though no longer employed by CNN -- Chris Cilizza is blaming Jill Biden for the Democrats' loss.

"At one level, I get this, okay? Jill Biden is a spouse first and she has her spouse's back, right? She's not a political strategist first, you know. So, I understand that. She's disappointed. But she felt like he should, for a variety of reasons -- some of which I think were altruistic," he continued. "She thought he could beat [President-elect] Donald Trump, etc., etc. But I do think she let her personal judgment get in the way when we are talking about a president of the United States. It is extremely hard for me to believe that Jill Biden, Joe Biden's spouse, never saw her husband in a state of confusion or a fog, like we saw him display during the June 27th debate. She's with him virtually every day."

There is truth in that, but pay close attention and you'll see all the leftwing propagandists blaming people who are no longer running for office in order to avoid blaming any of the currently-serving Democrats or their insane policy prescriptions.

The only Democrat position they're willing to reconsider is the same one they've been blaming for their losses since 2022: The word "Latinx." That's the one thing they're brave enough to admit that might be something they should stop saying.

But they're still not brave enough to even call for an end to normal, non-mentally-ill people being bullied into posting their real, obvious, biologically-accurate pronouns. That's a step they dare not step.

From memory he was sent away from the front lines at Saratoga by the commander who he thought was screwing up, and disobeyed orders and swarmed the British attackers who were trying to break the lines. After some limited gains Arnold and the reinforcements he pulled swarmed over the smaller Brit forces and pushed them back in.

I forget the details but he was posted in the then idle New York area for some years while little was going on and came up with his plan to defect to the Brits but he failed to surrender West Point to them.

He had some success burning towns in the Richmond VA area very late in the war fighting on the other side

Just a taste of how she was, a friend of mine was the local Dem assigned to escort the Clintons around a college campus. Bill, as was his wont, disappeared. Killary then took to berating my poor friend and screaming at him to find Bill and blaming him for Bill going off after coeds.

Another one was on the campaign itself in their Little Rock offices (before he became president), Killary threw things and made a fit about some minute detail that the campaign staff missed. Forget what it was but very minor.

Hillary was only friends with those that could do her favors. For example, I knew the prof whose house Bill and Hill met and were at the wedding as honored invitees. Hubby was legal counsel for Tyson Foods and helped Hillary with her options trading.

Newsom was also the one who left uncontrolled forest growth resume, statewide, while simultaneously blowing up dams and bragging about it. He was as autocratic in shutting down CA under Covid-19 as he was in shutting down reservoirs.

This is on Newsom's resume just as much as LA's mayor if not more so. His risk and damage is statewide.

261 Paul Ryan has to be the biggest disappointment of my adult political life. When he was trying to reform entitlement spending he was a freaking rockstar. He was the guy who showed us the math. His leadership should have ushered in a new era of fiscal conservatism. Of all people, he should have been able to unite the caucus, get disciplined about spending, and finally stand up to Obama.

But the failure theater continued, he never actually fixed anything, and he wound up standing against those of us who were fed up with the status quo, all because Trump isn't quite the fiscal conservative Ryan wanted him to be, despite the fact that Trump signed the tax code reform that Ryan himself was instrumental in creating. I'll never understand why Ryan failed. He was right about so many things, but the things he was wrong about were the only things he wasn't willing to compromise on.

Speaking of Flying Monkeys, I saw "Wicked" recently (don't worry - I didn't have to actually pay). I reminds me of "Madagasgar", only with more in-your-face wokeness.

I remember seeing the latter, and thinking "that doesn't seem like that's the way it's supposed to go". Basically, after the zoo animals finally get the freedom they dreamt of, thanks to some very enterprising and capable penguins, they decide they don't like being free, and want to go back to being nanny state serfs. The heroes of the story (said penguins) are portrayed as comic relief. Much to the creators horror, I'm sure, the penguin team was so popular with people they had to launch something starring those guys.

Heh, he went to work for the Railroad at a good job and was fine. The second one left politics altogether after that campaign. Few, if any of my Capitol Hill coworkers in the early 80's have anything to do with politics nowadays. I quit doing fieldwork when Hill and Bill purposefully shafted the guy that I still worked for in campaigns. They did it to another guy, the AG, because everyone in Arkansas politics was getting tired of the Clinton show by the early 90's as governor. He had been governor or AG from 1976 to 1992 with only being out of office from 1980-82.

Bill had charm but it was obvious that he would lie to your face if he could and he hated being challenged openly. He was also one of the worst leches I have ever been around in politics. Hit on a couple of teen girls invited to a governor's honor reception that told me later (before Paula Jones came out) that Bill had invited the two to visit him at his hotel room (same hotel as Paula was approached). Both were 17 years old. I got other stories as well.

The very uplifting song I had heard many times about "defying gravity" is literally about the Wicked Witch learning to fly on her broomstick for the first time, escaping the Wizard of Oz and said sidekick. They are both frauds, and have just tried to recruit her because she has demonstrated the ability to actually do magic.

The Good Witch is portrayed as Barbie-lie - shallow, self-centered, and incompetent. She more or less refuses to rebel against the Wizard, who represent the Establishment.

In short, it's an abomination, but most moviegoers seem to be too clueless to see what the hell they're doing.

Look up the hit on Arkansas AG Steve Clark. Steve was a good guy and aiming at running, whether Clinton was in or out of the governor's chair in 1990.

At the time, the AG of the state was paid only 25k bucks, no house. The governor was paid 35k. Salary was set in the Arkansas Constitution so to change it would require a constitutional amendment. So, legislature voted to create basically a slush fund for food, drink, that sort of thing for each office as a supplement to income. Think governor got 20-25 k (off hand from memory) plus free food/housing/travel as governor and the AG got something like 15k for everything. Steve spent that money on eating, travel, etc. and he put down who he had dinner with, etc. as was technically required.

A point of trivia that seems really nuts is that the 5th tie breaker - "Strength of Victory" came into play twice. In the one case, SEA was eliminated by LAR because their opponents had 72 collective wins, vs 75 for LAR. Now LAR is in the the Divisional Round. Crazy stuff.

The other place it applied has no playoff implications, just ranking within the division (may it has draft pick implications). CAR ranks higher than NO, despite identical records, split head-to-head, same division records, same common game records, and same conference records. The opponents CAR beat collectively won 28 games, vs 26 for NO.
