There were a couple of articles that said they likely identified the culprit. It was a retired Air Force officer who lived in Northern VA. He works for a big defense contractor. The FBI had him under surveillance for about a week, and then it was called off without explanation. They ID'd the guy by CC camera at the train station and matched his arrival with the "EZ pass". Also, footage of him at his home train station, and a pick up of his license plate by another CC camera.

Can't remember the brand but saw a 30s ish replica body on essentially a Corvette frame. Style was of a dry lake car used to push start land speed record cars. Fiberglass body but with rusted panels inserts. A fiberglass replica old motor camouflaging the modern motor. Air lift and lower suspension. Fast as stink. Owner carried rust to sprinkle around it at car shows.

I was watching a discussion with Alex O'Connor who is basically an intelligent version of Dawkins. He was conversing with Peterson and agreed that a Christian society is generally preferable to the alternatives but offered that he just didn't believe in it and therefore wouldn't live a lie just because it would make society better.
And I give this guy credit, normally those of his beliefs pretend Christianity is a dumb caricature of the Spanish Inquisition forever and always.
But Peterson missed an important response. If ONE particular religion consistently makes human life better that is a rather strong point in favor of its truth isn't it?

Yeah but they take existing cars, restore them, and change the suspension etc with modern interiors. I would buy the rights to build the original cars from long ago and the beloved past, and set them up with modern amenities. Toyota still manufactures and sells 100s of thousands of Diesel Hiluxes, they just can't sell them in the US because of regulations that the EPA conjured out of thin air, that make them unprofitable to sell.
What you really want is for Congress to take back it's power and shitcan all of the CAFE and CARB standards.

Yeah I have no doubt Muhammad existed, but there's not a lot of historical support for it. The case for Jesus existing is shockingly large, particularly for an obscure rabbi from a backwater province of Rome. And its very contemporary to his life, as opposed to most figures in antiquity.

Used to take the NY Subway daily, and you'd see the odd rat every so often. BUT, when there was a major rainstorm or a spur of the moment thunderstorm, it was like a rodent parade. Rats and mice everywhere. Big ones. Same deal with Florida and snakes (aka danger noodles). One of the worst things about Hurricanes is all the snakes above ground during clean up.

In the fall on weekends they run a Cars and Coffee thing in Newport, often at one of the mansions, and collectors from all over New England and beyond. Leno often participates in those as well. Great way to see some classic cars.

They are sold here for "off-road" or farm use, which can be used on road in some jurisdictions. There was a temporary pause as Jeep sued because of the intended likeness including front grill. They changed the grill and continued selling them, last I read.

True, but all of the exotic cars of that era (with the exception of Porsche) were undrivable piles of dogshit. Poorly made, unreliable, horrible build quality, interior layout and dimensions unfit for humans (the older Ferraris had the pedals so offset to the right you had to drive in a contorted position, if you could fit in the car at all). It wasn't until Audi took over Lambo in the late 1990s that build quality improved.

I hate them. I just replaced an old washer and I washed my husbands shirt that he wore to a branding and I pulled it out of the washer and it still smelled like burnt hair. I had to wash it again so I don't think I saved any water.
