Via David Strom, Newsbusters brings us this unfriendly fire incident.

Goldberg's lack of urgency to go nowhere triggered Navarro, who immediately started a shouting match and screeched about how people "need to prepare" for Trump and were "right to be in a panic."
In addition to falsely suggesting women in the military had something to fear from a Trump administration, Navarro also invoked the iconic "winter is coming" line from HBO's Game of Thrones to paint a dark picture of the next four years and insisted "they can't be relaxing and enjoying Christmas":

NAVARRO: No! Because we have the luxury of saying that because we're legal, we are successful, we are --
GOLDBERG: Listen --
NAVARRO: If you are an illegal immigrant in this country, you're not going to be not in panic! If you are a woman working for the Department of Defense, you have a right to be in a panic!
GOLDBERG: Ana, you tell people to say fraught and like this! That is not --
NAVARRO: No, I'm telling people to prepare, Whoopi! I'm telling people to prepare!

36 Sakurajima, a volcanic island right off the city of Kagoshima in far southern Japan, is erupting, bigly. Don't think it's dangerous at this point. It's always smoking. Was there and when you tour the island you're almost guaranteed to get "ashed" with the plume, which gives you a nice sulfurous presence for a few days.

Love Kyushu, highly recommend visiting. Great pork. Interesting WWII sites near Kagoshima.

Of course, that was not a ban on all Muslim countries (91% of the world's Muslims could still immigrate to the United States), but rather a ban on immigration from countries that refused to provide police reports on potential immigrants, or were so disorganized that they didn't have any police reports to provide (i.e. Somalia).

Most, but not all, of those counties were Muslim.

My home antenna is a doublet cut for 40M. 75ft of 300 ohm window line to a 4:1 transformer and short (8ft) piece of coax that enters the house. It has been up for 10 years and works very well on most bands. Height is at 30 ft.

Just sitting on the side of the road so any oncoming traffic from any direction can see the POLICE written on the vehicle. I check my speed and look over to give a friendly wave and Officer Short Straw is..DRESSED LIKE SANTA!!!! The tactical sunglasses were great!

Those little receivers cost only $30, and they work as good as any other rcvr I've ever used, including my Flex. Just to point out the reference, The Radio Boys was one of those Tom Swift-Hardy Boys young adult series about a century ago. In one I read for the hell of it, the boys were harvesting chestnuts from the trees, which should tell you how old the books were.

This is a point that should be shouted from the roof tops.

The FNM line is that people are idiots and if they hear a liar will automatically believe those lies so the stupid populace needs someone to curate what they are allowed to hear.

This should make everyone, of any political stripe, furious.

Of course that the FNM are the biggest liars around makes all this worse - and seriously compare say Alex Jones v the FNM in recent years as to who has been more accurate and honest. And no that isn't a high bar but...that's the point.

I turned on "prime time" the other day and there was some show on about a black family with I guess an annoying white neighbor. The show wasn't political or offensive so I give it that but it was like someone took the old standards of 20 years ago, beat all the humor out of it, and repackaged it with current actors.
